I have ordered curbside pickup 3 times, and 2 of those times were at this Target. I'm here to write about this Target, and not the pleasant experience at the Monrovia Target. The first time I ordered from this Target in the Summer, I was one of 2 cars waiting in the dedicated spots. The Target App kept crashing on my phone, so when the heavy female Armenian employee came out with the delivery for the other car, I asked for her attention. She saw that I was flagging her down, but she intentionally ignored me. 10 minutes later, when she came back out with another car's order, I rolled my window down to summon her. She ignored me, gave the other car their stuff, then barked at me to keep my window up. I yelled that I'll get out of the car if she doesn't come talk to me. I explained thru my window that I had a curbside pickup order, but the app kept crashing on my phone and that every time I called or was transferred to that department, or the manager's line, I was hung up on. She said she would not get my order without the app, and that I had to go in the store. She was rude and refused to help, so I left. I wasn't going into a store that specifically was mentioned in the local papers for employees testing positive for COVID19! Today, December 21st 2020, there were about 20 cars fighting for the few dedicated parking spots. One of the reasons was because half of them were occupied by unoccupied cars. Nobody was having those offenders towed, nor the rules enforced. When I finally got a spot, 10 minutes after I had already successfully logged in on the app and notified them that I was there, I noticed only 1 employee was coming back and forth with orders (heavier, older white woman). She was working her tail off, but I was shocked that there weren't more employees helping out the wave of cars. 20 minutes after I had seen multiple other cars come, get their packages and leave, I decided to call. Once again I was transferred to departments and manager's where I was hung up on or received "this line has not been set up" messages. Car after car came, got their packages, and left. We tried to get the one hard working lady's attention, but she was too flustered and busy, and being surrounded by people getting out of their cars or standing around smoking meant I wasn't rolling my windows down to holler. At the 45 minute mark we finally noticed another employee, a died-grey haired heavy young Latina, who sauntered slowly with a small order, ignored my trying to get her attention, gave a customer their package, and slowly sauntered her way back to the store. She took as long to walk out, deliver that one small package, and return to the store as the lady twice her age took to give 3 cars their packages. At 54 minutes after arriving, a thin, young Latino came with our order, was unable to open the trunk of my car, and came to my window to try to hand me my package. I told him he had to use life the hatchback with some muscle, but he insisted on handing me my order. He did thank us for our patience and apologized for how long it took, but come on! Absolutely unacceptable. It's the Monday before Christmas, so they know full well how busy their curbside department is going to be. And, between the 2 trips and 4 employees working that department that I've had dealings with, 3 have been terrible. On top of all that, one of the items wasn't in the order. To be fair, we did receive an email saying that the item was no longer in stock, but other things that I wanted to order I couldn't because they were out of stock. So why sell something that you don't have sufficiently stocked, while not allowing that option on others? I will never be coming to this Target again, and I want to warn anyone who is considering using their curbside app. It's not the store to do it at. This is where Target must send their miscreant employees. read more

Its Target, who doesn't like Target! They have everything, and if they don't have it then you don't need it. This store is well organized and whenever I've been in, its clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. They have a lot of self checkout stands which make getting out quicker than going through a line with a cashier. There is plenty of parking! It's near the freeway. They open at 7am. There's free wifi. read more

This Target is great and organized ! When I'm here I know exactly where to go ! I don't feel lost in this location so I get on and out quickly. With all the upgrades to the food court, I look forward to eating in the food court ! I love the direction that this Target is going in. No complaints ! read more

Best park about this target is its close proximity to the 210 freeway (so easy to get off, hop back on), also has plentiful parking (including underground), pick up service, and a Starbucks and which wich. Does get a bit disorganized but has all the typical target items you'd like read more

Haven't been to a retail store since COVID started. Had to go to Target this evening and it was clean, everyone wore masks, customers were staying apart and it was very comfortable. I needed to make a purchase at the Tech/Electronics area and I need to give a shout-out to Gregory. He was pleasant to the customers before me, was friendly, cheerful, and really helpful with my purchase. I really appreciate this kind of customer service, especially when things aren't the best in the world. read more

So sad I used to enjoy this target because of the customer service but today Deborah the cashier was just rude and made my whole shopping experience bitter. As soon as I got the cashier I put down my item she bangs her hand on the register to put it closer to her, doesn't say a word other than banging. So the craziest thing happened to me today. I bought a video game from target and the strangest thing happened. I don't want to say exactly on Yelp because I don't want people to scam them but my situation was totally legit and I've never experienced something like it. I thought I was just gonna lose my money because I thought nobody would believe me. But thanks to the managers at this Target, they didn't question me and totally made sure I was taken care of. The manager at the store was Tony and I'm really mad at myself for not remembering the name of the manager I talked to on the phone because he was so awesome. I go to target for many good reasons: great customer service, good products/well stocked, and hassle free shopping. I love this location because they r so helpful!!! I come out of my way to go to this one, why? Because they are good! Looking for a black rack that was on sale. Sold out. The nice associate searched the nearest stores, without me asking. Really hassle free! Also I love the deals Target has! What I buy is usually for shelter homes/homeless. I'm not rich, I use coupons to try and get quality products at a reasonable price and do ate those products. This location gives me no hassle on coupons. If there is ever an issue they just let me know nicely. There's another Target on Colorado, closer to old town. I hate that one. All the staff members are incompetent, even when they are wrong they don't admit to it. But that's a story for their yelp review. While I don't appreciate the changes with self check out and long wait times. I understand this is out of the control of the employees. That being said, the customer service here is the best. Tony who I believe is the manger at this store is awesome. I have been coming to this store for years, but I also frequent Targets throughout the area and the country. Tony is always visible greeting customers and whenever I have had an issue, Tony is always very nice and helpful. The staff here overall is polite and helpful. I understand customer service is a difficult industry, and some things happen out of the employee's control. This store makes me want to shop here over the one closest to my home. People are quick to post negative reviews and slow to post a positive experience. Good customer service is hard to find but I truly appreciate Tony and his staff for the good customer service I receive whenever I shop this location. read more

The optical shop in this Target was superlative. I was travelling and a screw securing a lens in my glasses had loosened and fallen out. Target was the first optical shop with whom I spoke that said "Come on by, we can help" and was able to fix the problem. (One other graciously agreed to help, but couldn't get the screw back in.) This review is a shout-out to licensed optician, NOELY ARTEAGA, who provided the fabulous service and further strengthened Target's brand in the process. I don't buy glasses often, but will plan to buy my next pair at Target. In the meantime, Target remains my go-to purveyor of all kinds of goods. When in doubt, you can probably get it at Target...and it will be a pleasant experience at reasonable prices. Service like this explains why Target has such a good reputation. Go Target! read more

Although a tad further than the Targets around me, this has been my go-to Target ever since I accidentally sent a pick-up order to this location. Turns out it was a blessing in disguise! This is one of the most organized Targets I've been in! The folks at Guest Services are polite and always willing to help and answer questions. The parking lot is HUGE and since this location is less popular than the other one down Colorado (closer to Lake Ave), you are less likely to get run over by other shoppers. :) read more

This reveiw is for Christmas Trees and Baby Stuff only. They have absolutely lovely trees. If you are looking for an inexpensive and beautiful Christmas tree, look no further. We went to a traditional tree lot first, out in the valley, and it was very expensive. I guess I wasn't expecting it to be $60 for a 5 Foot tree. At TArget, a nice Noble Fir at 6' tall was $35 plus tax. BARGAIN. They will saw off the bottom and package up the tree for free. Additionally, this Target has a huge baby section and I found everything I needed: diapers, sippy cups, kid plates, Earth's Best fruit bars. The only thing I would like to suggest is that Target start carrying Seventh Generation Diapers. read more

This Target is not bad at all. Sometimes it can get really crowded and parking can be difficult to maneuver or even exit, but the majority of the workers here are nice and it's a clean store. Their item stock is always plenty so you can always find what you need here. My favorite part is the part right after the $1 stuff when you enter, which is women's clothing! There's always lots of clearance items and tons of options. Best of all, the department is kept really neat. read more

Clean and busy Target

As far as the Target goes this is a very well maintained location with all your possible needs. What makes this target different from other locations is that it is very rare to find a long line at the register. Also they do have self-checkout stations available which makes it very convenient. When it comes to food after doing your shopping, this Target does have a Starbucks, but what they have that not all Target locations have is a Which Wich which is a little sandwich restaurant that allows you to customize sandwiches. read more

The store itself isn't bad. Pretty standard. But what made me feel very uncomfortable was how an employee was threatening a elderly man who's clearly severely mentally ill. I didn't catch the employee's name, but he was a young, obese Hispanic man near working near the exit. I had observed the elderly man several times throughout my shopping experience making incoherent comments. Most customers laughed at him. On the way out the employee was repeatedly saying "you better what your tone old man!" in a harsh tone and threatening manner while attempting "buck up" on the elderly man from around the store entry/exit divider. The old man was clearly of no threat. Instead seemed like the employee was in a nervous stare, and reacted emotionally without assessing the situation. Almost as if he had something to prove personally, rather than professionally. Is this how target trains individuals to handle elderly people who are clearly suffering from mental illness or elderly dementia? read more

This target inflates their prices from other targets. I went online target.com saw items that I needed to buy $1-2 cheaper online. I asked to price match the online price and they refused. They told me that I wouldn't be able to use my cartwheel as well, and get the gift card promotions. Hair dye is $8 here, compared to $6.95 at other targets. Apple earbuds are also $35 compared to $29.99 at other targets. Apple store even! However, a prior visit I had when I needed new earbuds and chromecast, I was able to pricematch target.com's price as well as cartwheel. So there is something going on with management and the employees. It just seems that they don't care about customer service. So I ended up at another target and lo and behold, it's the same prices as target.com, they were able to price match what needed to be price matched and honored cartwheel. My suggestion, go to another target store. read more

Some stupid ass employee took away everything from my cart and said it was because he saw frozen veggies lying around (in my cart) and thought it was a bad idea? And what did he do to the veggies? I never had problem at this Target. I'm usually at the Health and Beauty, Pet, Cleaning or their Grocery section. Yes, sometimes there's a line at guest service, but I never had any issues getting back a refund. Save your receipt or they can do a lookup on your credit card as well. Workers always approachable whenever I need to know if a certain item is in stock. People seems to fight for the parking towards the front, but there's always plenty of space if you just walk a couple more steps. You can pay Starbucks with your Target RED card and get 5% off on your drinks. Always check your Target/Cartwheel app for extra savings. Lately, they seemed to be moving around and remodeling the front area to give it a new vibe. Horrendous Self-Checkout Assistance. I requested Help 3 times to purchase a bag for my items. I saw the cashier cancel the request over her walkie talkie and go to Guest Services. When she finally approached me and offered help, I told her that I needed to purchase a bag. She had the nerve to read my entire receipt before handing it to me. I told her I requested Help 3 times on the checkout system. I picked up all 12 of my items and carried them out of the store without a Target bag. In the morning, there's a Self-Checkout Lead to Assist customers. If this location is going to have Self-Checkout, then assign a Cashwrap Lead to assist SC customers. Don't have them ringing at a register and then assisting SC customers when they can. It defeats the purpose of the SC Lane and the quickness that customers are looking for. We patronize this store frequently as its close to our home and convenient. We shouldn't have to drive to the West Pasadena or Glendale store in order to get more efficient customer service. Lastly, the sales associate made no comment as to why it took her so long to come and assist me. She was a young Hispanic woman with long black hair. This store has gone downhill. The shelves are always in disarray and not stocked fully, especially in the food area. The other day two stockers were having a personal discussion which is in itself maybe not be exactly kosher, but they liberally spiced their speech with curse words despite the fact many customers were around. Sorry, but that's just rude! The checkers rarely will fill your bags, especially a few specific ones. They just stack your stuff, waiting for you to do it even if you are struggling to juggle paying, etc. You might as well do self-checkout. Today, they had piled so many carts in front of the photo area, I could not even get over to it to print my photos. I mentioned it to an employee nearby and she shrugged her shoulders, saying they had nowhere to put the carts. But no suggestion she would help me out by moving a cart or two! Not her! This store is convenient for me but I've decided to give it a pass. Sick of the attitude of the employees most of all. Who is the manager here? You need to wake up and see what a mess this place is in and the attitudes that abound in the employees, maybe egged on by you? Good luck! I know I can just stream it from the Internet, but since Netflix has removed the movie from its site, that's been a bit difficult to do, so it's good to have a physical copy on hand. Plus, "Mean Girls" is like my antidepressant, so I guess I must commend you for "conveniently" selling it at such a low price when I was down in the dumps that day. Now it's your Moleskine journals?? Six dollars off on the journal that I've been eyeing since forever? UGH, YOU'RE KILLING ME, LARRY. I've always wanted a Moleskine journal, but I couldn't justify paying $18+tax for a journal. You've just made my dreams come true, Target. I LOVE/HATE/LOVE/LOVE YOU. UGH, I'M GOING TO GO BROKE BECAUSE OF YOU. Just lock your doors if you see me approaching.
