Just so you know, I am a crack baby and Target is my crack house. And this has become my favorite Target. Why? Because The Man works here. Now lemme explain. A few weeks ago, I was on a mission to find perfectly sized and priced storage containers to help organize my shit. I went to 5 different stores, including the despicable organization known as Wal-Mart. I swear someone must have been fucking with me because nowhere were the boxes I wanted in stock. Finally, I checked this Target a second time although I had just come earlier in the week. I was getting desperate. That and I was out of tampons. Anyway...Lo and behold, stacks of new and shiny plastic boxes lined what was once a sad and empty metal shelf. Hell yes. I was in mid-"Woot!" when I realized the matching blue lids were nowhere in sight...of effing course. Turning the aisle corner, I grabbed the first red shirt in sight. I looked down to see a pale and awkward skinny ass teen with high-water pants and glasses askew. Kid: Can I help you? Me: Umm...yeah. These boxes don't have lids. K: I'm sorry about that. I can check with the back room. Walkie Talkie: *chirp* K: Hello? I need a stock check. WT: [Obviously really annoyed] Yeah. Gimme the number. K: It's [string of random numbers]. We just need the lids. WT: [Pause] Yeah, we got em. How many? K: [Looks at my pathetic face] Get me twenty. WT: Ok, I'll do it after I finish this up. Later. K: No...you'll do this right now. We have an important client waiting. WT: [Long pause] Yes, Sir. Sure enough, a disgruntled dude comes out a moment later with lids galore. If it weren't for the 10 Sterilite boxes in my arms, I would've hugged and kissed the skinny ass kid on the spot. Oh yessiree, he is The Man. And that shit is freaking hot. read more

Don't let Target's online store nor the commonplace appearance of their Jewelry section (Which they call "The Jewelry Boat") fool you - they DO carry batteries for watches and watch-like devices (At least the brick and mortar stores do). This is a critical piece of knowledge for someone who's been looking to replace her watch battery, specifically to use this watch immediately after battery replacement. Long story short, I nearly exhausted my options for this battery to be replaced, save spending $15 for someone else to do it for me (when the battery itself retails for $3.99). I then decided to call the store from where I bought the watch (a running store) at the small chance that someone there could recommend a place to find a battery, and he recommended Target. A short drive, a few walks around "The Jewelry Boat" and a trip to the Guest Services desk later, I was $4+ lighter and was taking apart my watch on a jewelry display case using tools they had behind the counter they let me use, unsupervised (And no one I saw flinched as I did all this in my super clashy running getup). Target is yet another big box chain store and is infamous for patrons going in for one, perhaps few things, but come out with many things, blowing most of one's paycheck. But what I love about Target is that I'm able to leave Target spending under $5, with the sense of accomplishment that I was able to do something on my own while saving money doing so (ON SITE), and the ability to accurately time my run (and properly pace myself for killing-myself-prevention) all in one fell swoop. read more

9:54pm on a tuesday 1/29/18 we had 6 items in our cart waiting in line. An employee (older man with white hair) name Frank decided that it's appropriate to pull random customers in line at no particular order. He would pick whoever he wants and ask them to come to his line and checks them out while we (and a lot of others) continues to wait in line. We thought he was checking out customers with less items (we had 6) so we walked over to his lane and he waved us away and denied to check us out. Then immediately waved another person in line over. Ridiculous! Is it because I'm Asian? No apparently he was waving over women only! No guys. I saw another male customer get turned around. So crazy. read more

I like this Target. Its always nice, clean, very open spread out lay out, but organized. I love that they have a starbucks in there, and the staff is usually very helpful. Targets prices have increased over the years but whatever, you technically are paying for convenience of getting everything under one roof. Out of all the Targets I've shopped at, I have to say that this is one of my favorite ones to go to due to the layout of the store, the ease of parking, and cleanliness. I've never really seen this place that messy (at least compared to other Targets)... Its a good place to go to get your stuff in a nice clean and friendly environment! read more

Everyone should know by now that I LOVE Target! Only thing I DO NOT love is that I always spend $100+ when I go there. This location is two stories, parking is kind of whack, but they have a Starbucks & Pizza Hut? inside to calm (or caffeinate) your road rage nerves. And you would think that the team works at guest service would be the most efficient and nice people right? It's called "guest service". Nope. They don't seem to be nice at all. HORRIBLE employees. I had multiple encounters with many employees within the last week and all of them gave me attitude and were clueless about prices and how to make price adjustments on offers promoted in the store. Very disappointed for such a high volume store. They should definitely train their employees better and hire people who don't have smart mouths and have a clear understanding of what real customer service is. read more

Now this was a much better Target to go to, there is plenty of parking it is far away from the crowd of people which the other location in Pasadena is near Old Town. There was a friendly guy standing at the front entrance to greet me when i went in and i asked him where the men's clothing was and he directed me to the rear of the store. Everything was neatly stacked and i found all the clothes to be well placed in the right order and size location nothing out of place. There were plenty of styles and colors to chose from and i liked that a sales clerk came and asked if i needed anything, when i got to the register everything went great all the registers were open no long lines... I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes. The store was clean i didn't see anything thrown on the floor the way i did at the other Pasadena Store. Much better experience. read more

This is my favorite Target around. It's not as big as some of the other ones and the service isn't amazing but I enjoy the convenience here. Compared to the Target in Old Town or in Monrovia, this target is much less busy. I can always find parking closer to the store entrance. The line is also not too bad most of the time. They have a large grocery section now. I haven't really shopped their groceries so I'm not sure how the prices are but it seems like the selection is pretty good. read more

I feel the need to go to Target at least once a week...what for?? Anything and everything or if nothing at all then new release Tuesday's. So my friend needed to pick up a prescription and a couple things from Target. Why dld we end up with a cart full of the most random things? It's beyond me. From curtains, to toothpaste, to a new toilet seat, air freshener, to the newest Jergens lotion, and a bunch of other stuff--if you saw our cart you would think WTF are these girls buying!! It's those sale sections at the end of every aisle that will get you in trouble. Even though I just went to Target the day before, I still managed to walk out of here with random gizmos and gadgets. I particularly like this location because it's clean and organized. They are always fully stocked when I come here--not like the 3 story Target in the Glendale Galleria that always looks like it's going out of business because the shelves are ALWAYS empty! They even had someone stationed in the sale area to keep it clean. I also like that on Tuesday's the new release cd's and DVD's are always on sale. read more

I am so impressed with their stock of grocery store items! They have great prices and great selection, which just adds to convenience of Target, because you can find EVERYTHING now in one store! You'll need fifteen minutes just to see everything they carry now in the refrigerated section. My favorites (so far) are their cheese, Greek yogurt, and deli meat prices and selection (even with more natural, nitrate-free products). They carry basic produce, hummus (!), pizzas, meat, juice, milk, eggs, etc. It's really impressive! I've been saving a lot of time and money by just making one stop here. And it's the smarter choice of Big Box stores because Target reinvests a percentage of their capital gains back into the community through local schools. Sounds like a win-win to me! read more

The bigger the Target, the happier I am, because the more crap there is. Also, it means the bigger the $1 section in the front of the store. While of course there's plenty of crap you don't need/want, I also got a cute pair of socks and a whole bag of Halloween-themed cookie cutters yesterday. It's not Target's fault that they manage to pack so much desirable stuff in and I always spend more than I intended to, much like Jenny J. And it's so cheap that it's hard to argue against. The sales on the bagged candy, especially around Easter and Halloween, are my downfall. I manage not to buy the extremely enticing Choxie stuff just 'cause of the price (and have you checked the saturated fat content?!). Otherwise, you can get pretty much anything you'd ever need here: underwear, cleaning supplies, a towel rack, food, DVDs, a new computer, screwdrivers, toys, fancy decorating stuff for your house, office supplies, flea powder, an electric pizza cooker. Their holiday stuff RULES. RULES! Their Halloween merch gets cooler every year, and a big store means more space to stock said stuff. It's so cool that you can use some of it all year, like the plastic black glittery plate I bought for $2 yesterday. The cosmetics section also seems to constantly grow and change; Target has recently started carrying Boots, which is a British brand, and yesterday there was a rep waiting in the aisle to pounce on potential customers, but she was nice and I was actually looking to get a little makeup for work (I look like I'm 12). In short, you already know what Target's about and their commercials have become increasingly clever, but this store especially makes me want to set up camp. read more

At first I was turned off by the staff whom were very rude to me -- but then I browsed through the aisles and was pleased to find the largest Target accessible by mass transit (the Gold Line). It's got furniture, it's got kitchenware, and might I add -- a very nice selection of women's shoes. I found all of the shoes I've been slobbering over on target.com right there in the store, in my size too! Two pairs of black high heels, one shiny and one regular, and a black kitten heel make me a fashionista's dream! It's because of Target's great deals I'm takin' back my other shoe purchases to Maya's Shoes. (Sorry, Maya, it's a recession. You understand, don't you?) This is my favorite of the 2 Pasadena Targets. The aisles are roomy and the store looks pretty well stocked and organized. Also, sales associates are helpful and at least somewhat knowledgable. The parking lot is huge and never fills up, not even during the holidays. read more

This target is huge, but their parking lot does not compensate. It's always hard trying to find parking because everything seems so compact! Be careful if you drive a nice car, pretty sure you might get dinged by carts or other cars. I just received a viral email with some photos of old, defunct department stores: White Front, Fedco, Gemco, Monkey Wards. Remember those? Seems there aren't too many choices nowadays, except Walmart and Target. I'm not allowed to step foot in Walmart. GF hates that infamous destroyer of local economies with a passion, which is okay with me because I really like Target. They almost always have what I'm looking for--today it was shoelaces, a power strip and an extension cord. They have a good selection of DVD's books and magazines. Socks, underwear, black t-shirts: I get them here. They almost always have clothes on the discount rack that are worth checking out, too. Good store. Side note: A couple was standing outside the entrance, passing out fliers to folks going in and out of the store today. They did not offer me one. Why? What were they peddling that was TOO GOOD for me? Snubbed by annoying flier pushers. Jeez! I almost felt like running up and snatching one. That would have been fun! read more

It's a Target. This review is about why we like this Target better than some of the other ones. 1. There is plenty of parking, even though everyone fights for the same few spots up front. Tip: Go underground. 2. Three ways to drive in and out of the place so there's not too much traffic, and easy to get to from any direction. Also close to the freeway ramps. 3. Looks nicer after the remodel - now has a Which Wich 4. Travel section (along the wall between the make-up and the pharmacy) has expanded and is convenient to get some travel items (much of it for $1): Wipes, deodorant, etc. 5. Extra points for being the old Fedco I used to shop at, for those of you old enough to know what that is. read more

The only thing this Target lacks is a larger grocery section. Other than that I linger in the candle, kitchen (heaven!!! hello?!), action figure & gaming aisles. I buy at least one shirt for my boyfriend, one pair of pants for the little one & occasionally grab up a fun camisole or work blouse for moi. At the moment Christmas lights are abundant. Czech out the candy drop and small round lights. I picked them up last year but you can never have enough pretty lights. The gardening section is pretty good too. We have bought firepits, planters and lush potting soil and have never been disappointed. read more

This is by far, my favorite Target store in the SGV. Here are the reasons: - One story layout makes it easy to navigate. If you start from the left side of the store and keep going in a circle, you will eventually browse through the entire store and finish at the check out. - Plenty of parking. On the hot summer days, you have the option of underground parking. Woohoo!! It's a day and night difference in a triple digit weather! - Most organized. - Nice people working there. Literally the worst Target I've ever been to in my life. The line to get in was a disorganized mess with no kind of order and the girl in charge of it was unbelievably rude. This is a 4-stars Target. Ample parking, carts actually inside the store, fairly quick cashiers and not too terribly disorganized. I prefer to go to this one whenever I have to make a Target run because so far I haven't been stalked here. Usually. This past Saturday, one of my friends and I walked into the toothpaste aisle and smelled an awful odor. A matronly woman was spraying all the Axe and Tag scents into the air for her nearing 30s son to smell. "I think this one is good." Good god, woman, how can you tell? All the scents had commingled to produced a supremely yucky smelly. The guy looked at me for help. Oh no, this is not happening. This isn't the Macy's cologne counter! I can only imagine this woman trying to help her poor single son capture a young lady's interest with a mysterious and alluring scent. "Yeah, my mom thought this one is sensual." I looked at my friend and we nodded to each other. We immediately exited the aisle only pausing long enough for me to hold my breath while I grabbed Aquafresh toothpaste. Pewwuu! read more

First I'll start off by saying that I am a total Target maniac. I can spend hours on end browsing through all the aisles in the entire store searching for nothing in particular. With that being said, I've been to many different Targets in the area, and this location is by far my favorite one. I feel like this Target (compared to the second Target right down the street, the one in Duarte, and also the one in Alhambra) has the BEST selection of merchandise that is always kept well stocked. You would think that all Target's would carry the same stuff but I don't feel like they do. I can ALWAYS find something to buy at this Target. Also, the store is always kept very clean and neat so it's very easy to navigate through the store. An added bonus is that this Target has recently added in the Fresh Grocery section so you can get all your shopping done in one place. Another bonus is that they put in a Starbucks next to the food court so you don't have to travel far at all to get your caffeine fix :) I also go to the Pharmacy here to fill my prescriptions. The pharmacy staff is always super friendly, helpful, and attentive. A well-deserved 5 stars :) read more

I prefer this Target store to the other two story location. One thing I really like is the sandwich bar in the store. Some really tasty subs. Shelves well stocked. Usual Target layout. Always found the staff here helpful and friendly. Nice big car park and not in a congested, built up area. It's a stand alone Target, so I'm not sure if they will introduce the Target parking app where you have to pay to park there after two hours. read more

All right so I just moved to the area about two weeks ago... And as a result I've been to this target 12 times of course. After this last time though I decided I for sure have to write them a good review... The store itself is huge... For real like the biggest target I've ever been inside of. Maybe I'm tripping, or maybe you'll realize it when you go but it's gigantic. I went to target to pick up a couple things for the house and about halfway through my trip I realized I didn't have my cell phone, and I knew that I had had it in the store. I went up to customer service to check and see if anyone turned one in and unfortunately they said no. I went about the rest of my shopping trip finished getting everything I had to get, hoping that by then someone would've surely turned it in right? Wrong! So I went home... Doubting that I've ever get my phone back because who would turn one in anyway right? I turned on my iPad signed into find my iPhone and sure enough it showed my phone was laying right there in the parking lot at target... I went back over and the phone was nowhere to be found. I mosey back into customer service, where I was quickly met with my phone, someone had turned it in. What was supposed to be a quick target trip ended up being a few our trip but at the end of the day I got great customer service just like every other time I've been there and exactly what I need. read more

I love this Target because it's pretty well organized, clean and although the check out can get busy, you generally get out of there pretty quickly. I always forget my bags and the nice ladies at the registers always find a way to pack everything into one bag, safely. Be sure to stock up on those staple items; toothpaste, toilet paper, bulk size mouthwash, etc. If an item is not in stock be sure to grab a rain check which honors the sale price towards that item when it is in stock. After being in the Target meccas that are in the midwest... (My fav is in Lawrence, Kansas...) I can't give this one my full five stars. When you get a full grocery store and keep everything obsessively neat, tidy organized and always fully stocked, AND have wide amazingly bright aisles.... THEN you get my five stars. However -- between this one, the one (kinda) down the street and the one in Alhambra (UGH)... this one always wins out. It tends to have a better selection and easier parking -- even though it's just a LITTLE bit further out (though, not really when you just hop on the 210...) I get A LOT at Target. Really, I love me some Target. It's my one-stop shopping heaven. I can't leave there for less than $80, even if I'm just stopping in to pick up Tide. (I really can't explain that... it just HAPPENS). One of my favorite neighborhood Targets. It's always pretty organized and the location is perfect. It's large nad has a good stock of things to shop for. Their $1 section is also one of my favorites. They always have a lot of items there as well as a great clearance section, which always brings me back for more! Their grocery section is larger than most in the are and they always have reasonably priced and fresh produce. Beer and wine are also available here. read more

A few weeks ago they were advertising the first season of Gotham for $9.99 on Blu-ray. I ordered it for pick-up and drove over there and didn't actually have to step into the bulk of the store to get it. Their custom pick-up area is right at the front as soon as you walk through the sliding doors. I got my Blu-ray set in 45 seconds and I was out of there. Service was and friendly. Truthfully, I have been to this location before but it's been more than a few years and I have no memory as to how those transactions went. Getting my Blu-ray at a rock bottom price was my most recent transaction/visit. read more
