With Walmart Orange store, it's an adventure just trying to maneuver a cart thru that store! Every aisle is Stuffed with GiNormous Monster behinds + all their kids. Walmart open 24/7 so I think OK, I'll try and avoid Packed aisles and go later at night. But if its past 11pm they now Make shoppers Do their own/Self-Serve Checkouts, No live clerks. Target closes at 10 or 11 so can't bitch too much about that, but past 9pm you have less wide bodies, but then you get Detoured at every aisle due to pallets everywhere. Can't catch a Break there! Target Orange store - I'll make this fast and simple; Better Selections and quality of food, No clogged/blocked aisles, and checkout is Fast, Friendly and a breeze..........compared to Walmart. P.S. During my experience today the cashier did not even bother to check the sign when we told her what it said, she just claimed "well that's not how it usually works". I am giving 5 stars because normally i love my Target. Right now i understand people are behaving crazy and hoarding food and ckeaning products ect..i asked when they are going to restock. The person tells me they restock every day and the line starts at 7am for 8am opening. Really? How much do u restock 5 each. There is no cold or flu meds no toilet paper no paper towels no frozen no soap ect. Then i am told people are only allowed a certain amount per house. This target used to be my favorite as it is the closest Target to me up until recently.. Target desperately needs to be putting out those Clorox wipes for their shopping carts like Walmart across the street has!! Get the wipes or wash down your carts! Target is usually my go-to's for getting supplies. The staff are pretty nice and they have great service usually. The place is somewhat clean, sometimes I see dirty stuff on the isles (which kinda grosses me out). I like how they put a sanitizer station at the entrance and inside the store! I recently made an order online and set up pick up for this store. the items came late but that wasn't the problem when I called guest services to check on items and see if a friend could pick them up for me they hung up on me twice. I barely got to say hello when they hung up. I find this very rude unprofessional and not the best way to get your products. If you go to Chapman, this is the closest target The parking is pretty bad: the spots are small, and the parking-lot is set up kinda weird. They've recently had the grocery section expanded, but it's still not as comprehensive as some Targets in Brea and Fullerton. Employees are nice, and actually knowledgeable (especially in the electronics dept.) Whats not to love about Target? They always ask me if I want a Target Card and i have to laugh and insist that its a horrible idea. I would be so far in debt if I got a CC with them... lord! This is a great location, not only because its close to me, but they usually have everything! The only thing Ive ever noticed to not be in stock regularly are sheets/bedding. Which is ok, because how often do you buy sheets? They have a great grocery section with fresh, frozen, and even organic items! Yeah, organic. Rad right? :) They dont have a garden center anymore, but they have a garden "section" which has the basics. Soil, mulch, tools, gloves, patio furniture etc. They just dont have any plants like some other Targets have. Which is fine by me, Im not a gardener. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and there seem to be a billion people working there - which is nice. No wandering around looking for workers. And they always have great sales! Target is a good place to buy nice modern everyday clothes for alot less. They open late, have good deals on clearance, clean bathrooms and dressing rooms, cheap snacks like popcorn and drinks, and good deals online as well. This store stocked just enough for local shoppers. I hardly ever have to make two trips to get what I need. I have a higher chance to get help or even ask about how is my shopping during the day than at night. For example, one staff person gave me her shopping cart when I needed one. Another plus, is when an item is on sale, they usually have it stocked or have a rain check available. W a l m a r t across the street always runs out of stuff which is annoying. minus one star - I would like to love Target but I don't like Target's no distraction shopping experience! This place is dead quiet than a library and the staff look very blah not as upbeat like they used too. I miss the upbeat songs they play on the commercials...I miss the feeling when I go to Target. This is a nice enough Target. I was here to purchase Halloween decorations and the pickins were pretty slim. I'm not sure if they just didn't get enough merchandise in or everything was already picked through, but I found nada that I liked. I really hate it when I have to buy Halloween items in August because if I wait until October everything is picked clean off the shelves. Other than that, this is your usual Target. The clothes racks are crammed so close that it's hard to move your cart around. This store has the usual cosmetics, vitamins, dog food and other items that Target usually carries. I did a sweep through the home decor department since I almost ALWAYS find some awesome item that I have to have...no luck. Like I said, they either didn't get any good stuff in or it was already picked clean off the shelves. I'm not sure what is was about this store but I was not "wowed" by it. On December 17th, 2021, my wife and I went Christmas shopping at this Target store. Among all the items we purchased were two Visa $200 gift cards. After Christmas, the people we gave the cards to reported that there was a zero balance on the cards. The information on Targets gift card balance checking site showed that within an hour of that purchase, the balance on the card was zero. It had been spent at something called WM SUPERCENTER, which my research showed it was a known scam site. There was no way the card number could have been obtained by anyone within that time frame from us, as we went straight home and the cards were never even taken out of the bag. I contacted Targets gift card division and got nothing but the run around about how this could in no way be their fault. So let me get this straight. I bought the cards, went home, no one even removed them from the bag the store clerk put them, but somehow it's my problem the money was gone within an hour of purchasing the cards. Very poor customer service by Target. My advice to all of Target customers is do not purchase their Visa gift cards, give cash instead. Lesson learned the hard way. read more

I couldn't believe how messy, disheveled this store is. My husband and I went into men's, children's and women's clothes and it was a mess. We couldn't find much, clothes were in the wrong place. Just went to this target recently and the staff there were very nice! When I was in the makeup department, the person who helped me was named Nayeli who was so sweet and patient with me. She was able to help me find all the things I needed and she even gave me some tips on makeup which were very useful! I keep coming to this target because it's close to work and home however after today I will NOT be returning. I have worked retail for 4 years and I understand there are procedures and rules the employees must follow however I don't think it's fair that they treat customers differently based on the color of their skin. Each time I have came here I always get treated differently, I am Hispanic and a young mom. I have came here with my sister and my husband on separate occasions and we always get treated and looked at differently. Today was probably the worst. We came in at about 7:00pm to shop for some bathroom supplies and a face cleanser that I was looking for. The lady at the beauty department was the ONLY one who treated us like human beings and was so nice to us. However, when we got to the cashier line the lady was rude and made me feel so uncomfortable. I had my baby boy in the stroller and immediately she leaned over to check I didn't have anything inside his stroller and even leaned in more to check if there wasn't anything beneath it. She kept looking at us weird and even looked at my baby with a dirty look. Our total came out to $76 with some change and my husband handed her 3 $20 dollar bills, a $10, and 5 $1 bills. THIS LADY SCANNED ALLL OF THE BILLS to make sure they weren't fake. Like I understand I might look broke but what the heck man. That made me feel like s*** like why would you scan ALL the bills. I understand the $20's because at my job we do it too, but not ALL the bills?!! Keep in mind I have been to several different targets and this is the only place I get treated like this. Also not to mention that each time I'm in the clothes isles the employees constantly ask if I need help or follow my every move ( this is a method used for people who steal.) I stopped at sandal section to try on sandals, took one of my sandal off and went to check in the mirror and tried on some sandals around mirror ( around 2-3 mins). After I came back my original sandal was gone. I asked for help, girl at sandal area can't find it, manager audris came can't find it neither. She said it was my fault to leave sandal there, She said no target people came to take away ( since girl at sandal can't find it), other customers might took my used one sandal away, her store will not take any responsibility on my lost sandal. She offered 30% discount for me to buy new one. Of course, the whole time she was " very patiently" roller her eyes, very "kindly" to yelled at me for taking my sandal off to try on new ones. She kept saying it was my fault, I am sure she must found a way to try on sandals without taking off sandals. That's why she is the store manager, magic! I don't like her accusation nor her attitude, thus I refused to buy another pair of sandal. Audris ask me" what do you want??" I said" my sandals back, my time back!" Great selection of home goods and clothes. Prices are very reasonable as I kind of go to target for the "experience" usually nicer staff and cleaner then Walmart ect.. I come here once every week or so and usually use self check out. There was a bit of a line no problem tends to move quickly now keep in mind with stores reopening there are certain measures they take to make sure shoppers are in a clean store.. person after person was using the self check out I had one item quickly scanned it while the guy at self check out started to say things like "HELLO MAM CAN YOU MOVE HERE" because he wanted to clean the machine... now I was caught off guard because he hadn't been doing that the whole time I was in line so why would I say hey you should be doing this? I wanted to get going. I responded to his asking me to move by saying what? I'm constantly asking workers where things are. And they're always out of things that other targets I've been to usually have. And they're moving at a snails pace! I came in for three items and have been in line for 10 minutes! You would think to open more registers on a Saturday morning? Not only are the cashiers here slow, the shoppers are retarded! This his America people! We drive on the right side of the road, we WALK on the right side of the street, common sense tells me we walk on the right side of the aisles.
