I was in this plaza for dinner and thought to give this location a visit. Think this location was a former hardware store or something, because it seems like everything looks so organized here. It's also very clean, and with their shop currently displaying their Christmas items, the store looks great! I walked through the store, but was mostly looking at Christmas things. They're stocked will all things Christmas as of this post. Lines were pretty light as it was about an hour before closing. Cashier guy was also friendly. It's the holidays which means HL is CRAZY BUSY all the time with crazy lines. This last time I went in Chris was amazing. He was super efficient and had a great attitude for all of the crazy he was dealing with. Even though it was wild with people, the aisles were clean and being kept up by employees. Alex is super great! I've had the pleasure of going through her line 2 times and we actually both recognized eachother this second time lol. She is really friendly and it's always nice to chat with her since I also work retail and I understand & sympathize how crazy it can get during holiday season. What is going on??? Every year I shop at Hobby Lobby for ornaments. I like to change the theme so I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and found out they ran out of ornaments already. The two girls who worked there said they will not be getting anymore till next year. Are you kidding me? I love this hobby lobby. It's huge? They have a great selection of yarn, fabric, and decorations and there are always sales!!! The only downside of this place is how slow the registers are at checkout. You definitely learn to grow your patience here while waiting in line. I know it's a corporate issue not on this specific store but come on it's 2025 even the lemonade stands take apple pay at least put up a sign on the door. Yesterday I went to Hobby Lobby located in Santa Ana, CA. to return a few silk flower stems and Christmas garland. I provided the original receipt for items to be returned. Problem arose when 3 of the flower stems were missing 3 leaves each, which I didn't notice when I bought them. Who counts leaves on a flower stem?! Manager Matt's told me he would not refund me for the flowers, insinuating that I was responsible for the missing leaves. What?! Makes absolutely no sense! Matt's doesn't understand his company policy. I should've been given a refund with no problem. I asked Matt's for the corporate number to address this situation. Matt's gave me a number, the wrong number. I had a gut feeling he wasn't being honest, so I called the number he provided me and it was a number for loss prevention. I asked him for the correct number and once again he gave me another wrong number. I called him on his lack of honesty, and that's when he completely became unhinged! He yelled at me from the top of his longs, wrote on a big piece of paper in large numbers the false corporate number he gave me. He continued to berate me in front of all the customers in the store. At that point I told him I felt threatened and unsafe. I then pulled out my phone to record his behavior and only then did he back off and walk away continuing to yell at me. This whole transaction was recorded on your company camera to prove the authenticity of my experience. Matt's deserves to be fired. I recently witnessed and incident at this particular location that was disturbing. I was looking for a piece for making jewelry. A couple was in the same isle with a dog on a leash. At the end of the isle were two men in collard shirts and name badges, skulking and asking LOUDLY from 50 feet away if their dog was a service animal. NO ONE is allowed to ask for proof. I visited the hobby lobby on 17th st in Santa Ana and had a great experience I wanted to share. I had had a portrait framed at another hobby lobby, and after the fact I decided I didn't like the matting and wanted to change it. I called and spoke to Daisy and she was super nice and helpful. She told me ii could most likely get it fixed in one day. I went in the following morning and didn't realize the frame shop had not opened yet, but manager Jennifer said she would help me. She was so patient, I changed my mind three times while I was there and she was not phased. I asked for her advice and I'm super happy with the color she recommended. Had the most bizarre experience today, made even more bizarre after my interaction with Erick, the manager. Around 4:30, this old, slender white man with gray hair was pacing down the aisles in his underwear. Maybe he thought hobby lobby sold pants. For the record, he was wearing a blue shirt, shoes and socks, and a light blue mask, and blue undies. He was a tall man, slender frame. Calvin Klein model, he was not. That was enough for me to see. I hurried to the cashier to check out and get the hell out of there. I immediately notified her of what I had just seen. She then turns to her manager, Erick, who is standing at the next cashiering station over. She tells him what I had just told her. He thinks about it, then responds with, "Oh, that guy? He's been in here before. Yeah, those are just old-timey shorts. Those aren't underwear." I said, "look again, he's wearing underwear. I had the misfortune of having to cross paths with him, and I'm sure of it." I only wish I could have unseen what I had seen earlier today. But Erick remained strong in his conviction, "no, I seen the guy before. those are just old-timey shorts he wears." So yeah, that was super weird. I told my friend about it and she thinks these stores just don't want to deal with it. After today, and seeing how casual the manager was about it, it does make me think hobby lobby has adopted a lackadaisical approach to store safety. Just look away--that's their new motto. read more

I happened to be in the area for lunch and stopped in since for their semi annual sales. Huge store, very well stocked, endless selection. This is not a place to take your boyfriend or husband or even kids, I could spend hours here browsing. Prices are great, they rotate weekly which items are half off that week and have additional sales up to 80% off twice a year as well.
