I have been to many Targets, but this one is by far my favorite. It is very modern and always has what I want in stock!

Inefficient online order pickup process. Greeted by multiple associates at the register who…read moreannounced to the online order pick up associate that a customer needed assistance. A young lady came over who was very polite and courteous and began collecting my information, she was told by Kim to do another task instead which was off putting for me since I had been standing there for a while already. Kim came to the pick up area, attention divided not acknowledging me nor what I what I needed. Upon return the second time, she finally asked for my information. Once given to her she asked for a photo ID and I had to go back to my car for it. The purpose of online pickup is to be faster than an in store shopping experience. The time it took standing around, getting the run around and interacting with the unprofessional associate... I could have walked in the store found my item and checked out at the register way faster as that was the only line moving efficiently with ample help. I do not plan to return to this location due to her negative attitude around me questioning why I needed an ID after presenting the name, having a barcode ready (that was never asked for) considering my name is very unique and the chances of anyone coming to get the order, on this specific day/time/at that very location, who wasn't myself or spouse, would be very random and unlikely to happen. Horrible interaction with this person. Truly lacked communication and customer service skills especially for someone in leadership. She could learn a great deal from her employees who set a way better example than she did.

As a repeat Haverty's customer I was disappointed to see our last furniture purchase handled with…read moresuch a low level of customer service and eventually ending in a failure to deliver. At the Midlothian store our sales person was more interested in trying to sell us a protection plan than she was in actually ordering our loveseat and recliner in the same color. She only offered us the finance plan that would require a 10% down payment. Only later did I read on their website that other plans could be had that required no down payment. I had to call the manager to have the color corrected for our furniture to match. On the day of delivery I received a voice mail informing us that one of two recliners I ordered was going to arrive with a missing section. This would require a second delivery, at some time to be determined. At 6pm I called Haverty's customer service to find out where our delivery was, at the same time the driver called my wife explaining that he was an hour away, would we like to reschedule? We let him know we were OK with a late delivery. Ten minutes later we got a call informing us the delivery would be canceled. I informed the customer service rep that we would cancel the entire order. I was told that would not be possible until the truck returned to the warehouse. This was unacceptable. I had no furniture, had wasted a day waiting for furniture, and now I had to call them to get my money back. It will be quite awhile before we do business with Haverty's.
