We were looking for a place that was open for some thrifting on a Sunday and we ran into this. I hadn't heard of it before and was so happy we stumbled upon it. The person running the shop when we visited was this extremely kind music producer. He was easy to talk to and really kind. There were several rooms filled with unique and beautiful things. I love how this store is a combo of an antique store and used record store. You can find the music in the back. We found some really pretty things. Do know this place isn't cheap, you can end up spending high prices, but there are quality pieces. I've been wanting to buy a pair of rollerskates for a long time and ran into a pair that were my size. I took that as a sign and decided to take them home with me. I'd recommend checking this charming shop out, just know that the prices are higher, but it's a great collection of stuff.

A Refreshing Furniture Shopping Experience!…read more After what felt like endless trips to all the big-name furniture stores (plus a long haul to that giant discount spot in Farmville), I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Sofa Design--and I only wish I'd gone there first! It's a locally owned family business, which I love supporting, and their products are made in the USA--huge bonus points in my book. The father/son team was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with me as I tried to make up my mind (so many great fabric and frame choices!). The delivery was done with care while I was at work, and when I came home, I was honestly blown away. The scale of the furniture, the quality of the construction, and the fabric selections were even better than I had pictured. If you want personalized service, beautiful American-made furniture, and a shopping experience that's actually enjoyable, Sofa Design is your go-to. Highly recommend!

A young lady came over who was very polite and courteous and began collecting my information, she was told by Kim to do another task instead which was off putting for me since I had been standing there for a while already. Kim came to the pick up area, attention divided not acknowledging me nor what I what I needed. Upon return the second time, she finally asked for my information. Once given to her she asked for a photo ID and I had to go back to my car for it. The purpose of online pickup is to be faster than an in store shopping experience. The time it took standing around, getting the run around and interacting with the unprofessional associate... I could have walked in the store found my item and checked out at the register way faster as that was the only line moving efficiently with ample help. I do not plan to return to this location due to her negative attitude around me questioning why I needed an ID after presenting the name, having a barcode ready (that was never asked for) considering my name is very unique and the chances of anyone coming to get the order, on this specific day/time/at that very location, who wasn't myself or spouse, would be very random and unlikely to happen. Horrible interaction with this person. Truly lacked communication and customer service skills especially for someone in leadership. She could learn a great deal from her employees who set a way better example than she did.
