The shop is in a historic house where every room is filled with treasures. As you make your way up the narrow steps, the upstairs has all kinds of nooks and crannies and tiny alcoves filled with vintage pieces. I love the heavy wooden plank floors that creak beneath your feet. The four poster bed with the crocheted canopy is a sight to be seen. The fireplaces are decorated with beautiful candlesticks, garlands, pictures and mirrors. There are dozens of rush, cane, ladder-back, embroidered and weaved chairs. Several areas are stocked with shelves of bygone dish patterns and vintage pottery. Almost every railing is draped with gorgeous quilts and blankets. The walls along the stairs are filled with game boards including Parcheesi, checkers and chess, Chinese checkers, backgammon and carrom. I have several of these in my home and I love them! The Glass cloches are quite a find and there is a section of garden décor as well! I love the looms and spindles and other antique machines and tools. Some of the prices are high, but others are reasonable for the age of the wares. The owners are quite nice and knowledgeable. The owner gave me a tour and even though I was just browsing, it was quite an experience to be in there. There were collections from the 1800s. Even though this isn't my cup of tea (no pun intended), I can appreciate a place like this. You can see there's been years dedicated to collecting this and there were quite a few people in there which showed it's a favorite among collectors.
