What a great store for any horse lover or, like me, for anyone who loves a horse lover! The owners are knowledgeable and helpful. They don't hover ( I don't prefer hovering ), but are easily available for questions & conversation. We enjoyed both. The merchandise has a good price range and broad selection, including everything from jodhpurs, show hair bows & gloves to pillows, magnets & greeting cards (LOVED the cards; bought 3). It was a joy shopping (& buying) there ( I bought more than cards). On a side note: Lots of us enjoy shopping excursions like this but if we don't support small businesses, this they could close & we will really miss out. Food for thought

We requested the wife call the next day to discuss pricing for each item. The man repeated, people just trust us. She did not call, so we called her. Woman gave very rude and curt responses to our questions. Said she did not have pricing. We asked when she could discuss pricing, she said she could not tell us when that might be. We went back to the shop today and picked up our items. The woman was again very rude and unhelpful. Surprised they are still in business.

He loved a smell from another candle place but refused to return because how strong the smell was. When we walked in we were greeted and asked what we were looking for. The gentleman that assisted us immediately found a couple candles, which would have been enough, but he also brought us to a table in which they had a new scent. The scent was perfect. They had not yet named it so they were nice enough to print us a custom label. There was also a young man there starting his own line of body butters and scrubs, TMOORE CREATIONS. It was not difficult to support this young entrepreneur as there were a few different scents and we ended up getting the cotton candy scrub. We also made sure to scan their QR to keep updated because the entire experience was great. Oh and I even found out they do candle making parties. I cannot emphasize enough how small businesses like this are so important to our communities…read more There are so few mom and pop nurseries around anymore that it's scary. Jubilant Nursery is a PERFECT example of locals spending money-locally! I bought all of my garden vegetables here today, and spent much less than I would have an a big box store! That kind of seems to go against logic doesn't it? Wrong!! Not only did I spend less money, but everything was grown locally, from seed. I see some ways in which the owner saves money. All the plants don't have frou frou little pictures and guides in each pot to tell you what to do. As the plants get more mature from seed the nursery puts a stick in each pot with a number that correlates to a chart in each greenhouse to tell you what that plant is. I bought several hybrid tomato plants today that I have never seen or heard of at any other nursery or big box store. Also to save money here there are no bells and whistle's, you go into the greenhouse, pick the plants you need and go on. The owner, Brian, actually met me at my car as I got out, and asked what I was looking for and how he could help. He's very familiar with everything inside of his nursery and what he grows. "Daffy" the family pet, also greeted me. She's a very cool duck that will let you pet her! My kids loved this. Not that I'm old enough to remember, but this place kinda reminds me back in the day the old gas stations that when you would pull up to get gas all the attendants came out to take care of your car while you were filling up. Keep in mind they are only open about 3 to 4 months out of the year. Once they run out of locally grown vegetables and plants that's it till the next year-they are done. What a great local place! If you're ever near Midlothian and Providence Road give them a try for your gardening needs!
