I hate this Target. More often than not they are out of what I've come in for, and the staff are hanging out chatting in the aisles, oblivious to anything going on around them or there are go back carts everywhere full of random stuff in the middle of the aisles. The bathrooms are always disgusting. The last time I went to return an item that broke that was well within the return policy the employee gave me a hard time about it. Worth going out of your way to a different Target if you want to have an enjoyable experience, or if you need something and hope it's actually in stock. read more

I Work in customer service, I come here on a weekly bases and would wish the staff would be more knowledgeable and approachable but they just aren't. They seem to always be low in stock for things (higher foot traffic compared to other Targets) read more

I like Target. I really do. Not only does it keep me from shopping dollar stores more than twice or three times a year, Target keeps me out of Wal-Mart. Thanks!! But good grief, Target is really struggling. They have new people every month. Thus, many workers are new, inexperienced, and clueless. Today it was dirty, disheveled, and unpleasant ( see my photos). The ladies restroom at 2p was the worst I've ever seen at a Target. It used to smell of oranges and Target used to take pride in keeping it clean. If I had used the only remaining seat cover in the stall I occupied today, and you were the patron after me, you would have had none ( you're welcome ;). My bag was packed so heavy it was cutting into my arm. The stall was so narrow and the floor so littered with TP I had to balance my heavy groceries on my lap. Then-- there was no paper towel because the machine wouldn't dispense. Yes, there was an air dryer... which I could have used had both hands not been busy with my groceries. Ack. As I was leaving, I saw a sign that they're hiring. If you decide to work here, you'll have plenty to do! And I'll gladly thank you kindly! If you're the customer behind me in line next time, held up because I'm insisting the cashier rebag the candy into two bags, I apologize in advance. read more

This target location values policy over people. We are in difficult times and safety is extremely important. My wife was "targeted", labeled, and harassed by target employees who felt entitled by a corporate policy, even when my wife complied with their policy, as we understood it. If the target policy and procedures are not centered around their customers then who are they protecting? I spoke to the manager and he confirmed that his top priority is safety and people is a close second... but still second. Their behavior is aggressive, unprofessional, and hurting our community that is already struggling. They should be held to a higher professional standard and have lost my business. read more

I went into the Clackamas target today and had to eave due to absolutely no coved 19 compliance. Nothing to keep customers apart everyone was in the store nearly on top of each other. They should be glad OSHA didn't go in there today I cannot imagine the fines they would have gotten. Will not return to this location until safety measures are taken. read more

Horrible customer service! Ever since changing their return policy it is next to impossible to return merchandise. Returned items my wife bought yesterday WITH THE RECEIPT and they wanted her debit card to put it back on. That's great except she wasn't with us. Ended up giving me a gift card when I did t need to make any purchases. Time to switch to Walmart or other retailer. Done with Target! read more

Out of all the Targets in Portland, I find this one to be decent. The staff seem to be fairly nice. They're always smiling... (is that common for Target?), but it sure beats Wal-Mart. Prices are not too low, but they're not too high. I've seen worse and I've also seen better. I shop around town a lot, but I noticed that every time I come to this store, it's 1) mostly clean, 2) not a lot of "shady" looking people, the clientele seems higher class, and 3) most of the workers look HAPPY. This is a huge target. It is one of the Super Targets that has some groceries. I am glad it was around because we were having a binky emergency. We were spending the day in Portland and by the time to get back to Hood River it was about the twins nap time. Of course, they are still hooked on the binky for naps. They got their blankets and started screaming for their binkies. I loved this Target, even though I had to dash across the whole store to get the damn binkies. read more

So after going to Target 2 days in a row and getting two very different experiences I have decided to write a review! Overall I usually enjoy this Target and pace at my own leisure with no problems. Occasionally Ill get the group of red polos who ask if I need help after the person next to them just did 1 minute ago. One time I have 6 of them ask me in a ten minute span. It was quite annoying! So maybe I should have written earlier! Nov. 30,2013 So the day after black friday shouldn't be too busy right? Wrong but that is not Targets fault. The 3 star rating is because this was actually the nice day. I browsed and got some wonderful deals and amazingly enough the store wasn't in complete shambles as it usually is. Shelves were stocked and the employees were very nice...scattered like usual but nice. The dressing room woman who I forgot her name was pleasant and respectful. I wish I would have gotten her name cause she was nice the next day too when the other chicks were rude. Also my cashier was friendly. And her name has slipped my mind. A nice older woman with tight curly hair like 50+. The receipts do not have names! But she was fairly new and waited patiently as cartwheel did not want to properly load! Overall happy! But it never fails to notice how employees never really talk to you unless they need to! Dec. 1st, 2013 So I decided a couple things I bought I wanted to take back. One of which was a shirt that I just forgot to use the coupon on and wanted to hold on to so I could purchase with the coupon. Morgan as customer service was extremely friendly and completely understood. She was also patient as I fished for my wallet at the bottom of my stroller. A very kind and impressionable young woman! After customer service I went to Starbucks. The Starbucks in Target is always really slow. And they are usually very unorganized. You're better off going near Petco and coming down to Target to walk around! Anyways...after I handed the woman my coins (yes i paid in quarters) she put them in the register and closed it. I looked at the price and told her I gave her too much. And her response was " Oh did you? I was just too lazy to count...here you go." WOW If i wasn't nice I could have asked for more back! And then as I stood waiting little did I know she actually put my drink on the pick up counter. That would have been nice to know. I stood at the register as she had handed the people in front of me their drink....I figured I would get the same treatment! Lastly....the fitting room had my blood boiling. I was probably 6 feet from the fitting room counter and hear "We only have a limit of 6 in the fitting room." This small brunette woman said in a very demeaning voice. I told her "I know I just hadn't sorted it out yet"(Everything was laid nicely on the stroller).....and after I said that some bigger brunette had the nerve to tell me "She just had to give you her schpeel." Are you kidding me? If i wasn't desperately looking for post pregnancy jeans I would have thrown all the clothes at these two brats. And then as I counted out loud and showed the girl my items...she had to physically touch and count each one. I was so annoyed and yet again with my post preggo brain I did not get names. But i could point these brats out!. As i was in the fitting room all they did was talk about their days and how they had stories to tell but had to wait until the dressing room was empty...Umm I was the only one in the dressing rooms. I was so annoyed and wanted to flip on them. Thankfully the next trip to the fitting room had the lovely tall beautiful brunette from the day prior and she was pleasant and kind and I didn't have to constantly hear her talk about wanting a baby. Cashier was so patient. Once again cartwheel was a pain in the @$$ and this fun looking woman just took it with stride. She made my second trip a whole lot better! Okay I'm done complaining! haha. But man those chicks really made me mad. No professionalism or kindness! read more

Not a very good Target location. Always busy and packed with people. Parking is a mess...with a far walk usually in store. Once inside, it doesn't feel very sterile and clean, which I've come to expect out of Targets in comparison to Walmarts. Anyway, if you don't have to go to this Target location, then don't...and find another. read more

Different levels of WOW on this one. The crew is completely and utterly inept at their job. They were no help whatsoever. Guest services was completely miserable. This person named Josh was very vague in his instructions and also very unhelpful. I hear the Fred Meyer and Safeway down the street actually care about their craft. I like this Target because there's a big selection at a good price in a clean store. As a matter of fact, it's probably my favorite in Portland. As you enter you'll see some big security checkouts. In the front of the store is a Starbucks Coffee and a Target restaurant, along with an eating area as well as fountain soda and ICEE machines. Near the checkout is a recycling area for cell phones and MP3 players, printer ink cartridges, plastic film, bottles, and cans. There are 16 checkout lines, plus 4 self-checkout lines. Near the entrance is the 1-hour photo and customer service desk, which my mom has found to be not-so-good, as well as Bullseye's Playground across the walkway. Spot's Corner has items that cost $1, $3, and $5. The clothing sections take up quite a bit of the store and are the place to get clothing and shoes for a good price. Backpacks are sold year-round and come in a selection of colors and sizes, due to filling a whole aisle. I'm The Toys and Sporting Goods sections are where my family gets our LEGOs and basketball and soccer equipment. We also do our holiday shopping here, too. Most people don't shop for groceries at Target, but if you want to get pricey food, hey, I can't stop you! The electronics section has products ranging from about $10+, and I'm not going to explain all the stuff for sale over there! And no, the pharmacy does not have a drive-thru, but it does have an indoor pickup area. The pharmacy is near the Beauty Products and medicines and supplements, and about a sixteenth of the store is aisles full of medicine. There is also an office and crafts area, however I have noticed that some items, such as Wite-Out and specific pens, have been out lately. The big problem is that parking spots can be hard to find. Anyway, you can explore the rest, because my fingers are starting to hurt. read more

I really enjoy shopping at Target. This is one of the cleanest Target's and the customer service is pretty good too!

I like the size of this location. I just don't like the customer service I've received from few different employees. I know that retail is hard and we all have bad days but when it happens in different departments on different days maybe it's saying something about people's choices while they're working. The prices have been pretty good. I love the toy clearance during the summer and holiday months. I wish there was more clothes! I miss target clothing. (mostly just more plus size instead of 3 racks and then maternity.) other then that all my other experiences they have been awesome almost makes up for the terrible ones. Keep it up! read more

Ugh. I'm not a Target bully; I've just experienced better. One particular cashier could be more attentive, after all she is in the customer service/retail field. Majority of the cashiers are friendly. Getting in and out of this parking lot is a headache. It wouldn't hurt if the Clackamas Target had two entrances; this would alleviate much of the parking issue. read more

Store is alright, but there are two cashiers that I notice borderline harass people to sign up for Targets credit card and their app. They're both older women, one with darker skin the other is white. When they ask and the person says no they keep on going and they wont let it go even after several no's. It's so sad to see managment not care this is happening and frankly encourage it by not taking any action against them. read more

Very poor experience, there was an aisle of clearance products, BIG yellow sign front and center CLEARANCE, and every peg had a little tiny clearance sticker. It was all luggage, so clearly not an aisle of random hodge-podge. My grandson saw a bag with a cartoon character he really adores, so considering the sign on the peg said 70% off, I said he could have it and put it in the cart. Mind you, this was not the only one, there were more of the same. Well after completing my shopping and getting to the register, it rings up as regular price! When I let the cashier know that there were several more on the aisle, all marked clearance with a percent off tag, she shrugged it off and had the gall to tell me "it's a big store, we can't keep everything perfect." Nobody asked for perfect, but I certainly didn't ask for your flippant attitude! No surprise things are out of order, considering the attitude the employees display! To top it off, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, another employee that was in line to make a personal purchase decided to chime in with her opinion, too! Unbelievable. When the supervisor arrived, not even an apology, I get the disbelieving squint from her. I had to walk back to the aisle and show her myself, and then it turned into a negotiation on the discount, 70% is too much, well that's what was advertised! At this point, my grandson, who is three, is ready to go so I take the 30% off she offered, but I'll seriously reconsider purchases from Target going forward. read more

Your average run of the mill target. Which is nothing bad by any means. When I need picture frames or other common household items this is one of the places I go. It's very clean, well staffed and fairly organized. Always good sales going on and I can usually find exactly heat I need when I need it. Good location too, lots of other stores around it so I can make one stop for all things needed. read more

This target was okay, they didnt have much stocked in some of their aisles, they were out of a lot of stuff when I was there like a bunch of toys and childrens play computer things. But it was cleanish and had what I needed. A little unorganized but I got by on my own eventually. Their clothing racks were also a little over stocked but had some good deals on some items too! I L-O-V-E this Target!!! This is the closest one to my house and located conveniently next to Clackamas Town Center, Costco and other businesses so I often stop by here even when I didn't plan to and always walk out with with buying at least one thing. They are also the most well-stocked Target I've ever been to! When my friends and I went to look for after-Halloween deals, this was the location which had the most variety and check-out is always fast too. Quick tip: try to go on a weekday morning/afternoon when the parking is easier to find! read more

I havent had a problem with this particular store, BUT I do have a problem with the Starbucks located inside their store. This may or may not be helpful since I am basing this off of my Starbucks experience. When I ordered my drink, there was one other lady behind me. After we both ordered our drinks, another lady showed up about 10 minutes later. The 2 guys were very slow, but thats not really a big problem for me. They made the drinks for the group that came before us. How its supposed to work is that the next one that ordered were supposed to get their drink made, which would be me. Nope. Didnt happen that way. They made drinks for the lady behind me, the lady that came in 10 minutes AFTER me, and then after 15 minutes, I finally got my drink. They were completely aware of this because they kept looking at me. To make matters worse, no apology was given. I wonder if any racism was played into this. I hate to label anyone that I do not know personally as racist, but sadly with all the things going around lately, its no longer taboo. Long story short, if you are not Caucasian, avoid this Starbucks. They will ignore you until all their white customers are served. If you want to try it out, and happen to be of another descent aside from Caucasian, let me know how it works out for you. I am hoping that I am wrong. read more

Beginning to wonder if they ever clean the bathrooms here. A weird complaint but they always smell terrible, the floors always feel sticky "oh great I can here and feel the stickiness of someone else pee on my shoes." I get its a big store with lots of people but is it that hard to put an air freshener and have someone take 15 minutes to mop and clean the counters of a public place?! read more

Went yesterday to buy bar stools, three ladies helped me! One got the stools from the back the other gave me info and helped me download their cartwheel app. I saved 25% on my purchase! I forgot what it was like to receive customer service until I walked in this store today and was helped immediately by a floor person named Amy. Honestly my day was rotten from when I got up and drove to Portland 200 miles and was out of oil. I walked in , and this store is huge compared to our stores in Coos Bay. Amy walked me to the products I needed and was very helpful, even put a smile on my face for the first time today. After I checked out I asked clerk to speak to manager. The clerk replied is everything OK sir? Is there a problem? No I just want to give kudos to you guys for great customer service. read more

I visit this Target at least once a week. I have found it to be clean and pretty organized considering how busy it is. They do a great job of maintaining the lines. Once they see a good number of people in line, they open up another checkout. There are two or three rather slow associates at checkout though. I avoid their lines whenever possible. Their men's clothing area also seems to shrink every few months. I'm guessing a lot of men don't buy clothes there? But they aren't doing anything to encourage men to buy clothes there by reducing their selection. Another positive note is that the bathrooms are always clean! While shopping here often we have never had a problem brining my service dog in. Being polite I took my dog with me through the store as my bf went and got food at the pizza place inside. Meeting back at the dollar section we were greeted by a rude person working there who questioned us (that's understandable) I told her she was a companion dog. Rudely told me I needed my papers on me cuz we were causing a violation. Knowing my rights of having a companion dog I did not need to show her this info! And yes We did have the papers on us. We left the store never to support target again! read more
