Who doesn't love target?! It literally speaks for itself. This particular location is my neighborhood target, I'm literally in here 2-4 times a week. Sad, right?! My only complaint would have to be; I spend too much money!! I blame target for having so much stuff that I love. I walk in for milk and papers towels then BOOM 70 bucks and 1 hour later I'm leaving.....forgetting the milk in the store. Staff is always great, if they see a few folks waiting in line they'll immediately open up a new register. Unlike Walmart who has 60 staff members roaming the floors with 3 registers open. There are a few cashiers who talk quite a bit, don't know maybe it's me, but I don't need to know about how many of your siblings didn't graduate high school. Or, that you're leaving your husband, that's personal information customers don't need to know. Sad to say but I tend to avoid their line. Other than that, I love this place! read more

One of the worst Targets that I have been to. It's poorly ran. The whole store seems like they are super short staffed on employees. Every time I am in the store, all of the shelves are empty, I am never able to find what I am looking for, there is no staff around, and the lines at the registers are ridiculous. At most, I only ever see up to three registers open and during busy shopping times... the line can wrap down to the isles. It's a bummer because I used to love the store but it needs to be ran better. read more

This target is terrible and I feel bad for the staff. Not only is the stock completely ransacked (50+% of shelves empty in electronics, sporting goods, home goods, office supplies, home appliances). Then, for all the stock that is available.. it is locked away and you need to wait for an attendant to let you in. I waited more than 10 minutes to get a $2 bottle of saline nasal spray. Absolutely awful customer service. I called 15 times within an hour trying to reach ANYBODY and every call just rang and rang until someone started to end the calls. Due to no one being able to answer the phone, I drove to the store walked in, called the store and directed it to the department I was trying to reach. I watched the phone ring and ring while 2 employees stood there neglecting it. My online order was supposed to be ready in two hour max according to the website, (it had be well over 2 hours) but the employee told me they were behind today and that they couldn't help me in anyway. (The order that was supposed to be ready hours ago wouldn't be ready for pick up today.) Absolutely do not order in store pickup from this location. False indications that you will be able to pick up your order the same day (as the website states). Seriously a nightmare. To top it off as I walked around the store (since didn't want the trip to be a complete waste) and almost every isle I saw was disgusting with things open and thrown about. I walked by the toy isles and they looked the same as they did the last time I came to this Target about a month ago. Same products. Nothing restocked. Isles looking like a tornado had come through. Will not be shopping at this terrible location again and I suggest you do the same. read more

Today around 11:30am a grown man was in the women's bathroom was standing using the restroom with the stall door wide open. My two young daughters saw him, my sister was so uncomfortable and shocked. She told security and they did absolutely nothing. Not even a conversation with the gentleman about using the other restroom or closing the stall door, so other people in the bathroom don't see you pee, let alone two young girls! They clearly have zero interest in making sure their customers feel safe and comfortable. This is unacceptable and will never take my family back into this store. read more

Very disappointed that the store is not managing the use of mask wearing. While they had a "sanitation station " present, no employee stood at the door and told shoppers that they needed to wear a mask. Many shoppers I encountered were simply NOT wearing a mask. When I asked the hand sanitizer employee, she said, that they must honor people with illness who cannot wear mask. These were young people for the most part and again, nobody even tried to enforce the wearing at the door. There was not monitoring people to remain 6 ft apart at checkout either. It will deter my decision to shop there for the time being. I want to be safe for myself and others around me. If they cannot comply with the Gov of OR orders to wear a mask, then they will NOT get my business. read more

I went to Target this afternoon to pick up a few items. I was unable to get a shopping cart when I first walked in. A employee said to the now growing crowd waiting for a shopping cart that they were trying to find someone to go get the carts from the parking lot. After about ten minutes I had to go find a basket. Most sections in the store had at least one to two shelves with nothing on them. I couldn't find a couple of the basic things I needed. As a regular customer of this Target location I feel like Target no longer cares about the customer experience, at all. It's just seems to be getting worse over time. read more

TARGET! I love this place. From beauty supplies to furniture it has it all. Sometimes I come here just to check out the new stuff they have in. They also have some killer deals a lot of the time. I've been satisfied with every purchase and I have purchased many things from here. The staff is always around and helpful when I need something or just a plain question. This target is well stocked and their staff associates are helpful ; I was looking for dog food but couldn't find it in this massive store thankfully an associate was able to direct me to the right aisle. Wayyyy late in writing this review which should demonstrate the impact the experience had on me. My wife and I were shopping a few days before Christmas and found a phone charger we thought would be perfect for our son. One catch... it was locked onto the display which, being that the item was priced at $14.99, seemed odd. A red shirt khaki clad guy showed up with the magic key. He too was confused by the item being locked and came to the realization it was incorrectly priced. He apologized for the error but said he would honor the posted price. We told him that would not be necessary as we figured it was not priced right on the display tag to begin with. He insisted, saying it was their error and we requested the item be unlocked based on the posted price. I worked in retail for two decades with a retailer world renowned for their customer service. When I see exceptional service (and I rarely do), I recognize it. I recognized it on this day. I only wish I remembered the provider's name. Side note... the charger was one of those you sit the phone on to charge. Our son is disabled and unable to plug a charger into his phone. We would have paid any price to give him this sense of independence. read more

We're pretty conscious of the customer facing employee. We've been there, customers can be pretty rude. Today, the tables were turned. Standing in line for about 10 minutes and as we got to the conveyor the checker spoke in our direction and said, I'm closed. Seriously, no warning, his light was on, no sign no nothing indicating that he's going to close. The smug look on this 20 something was incredulous as he wouldn't even acknowledge us asking in disbelief that we just got snubbed. This target store is clean, and has a wide variety, but its right next to the mall, freeway, and costco so it's very heavily trafficked, thus the popular items run out quickly, and average sizes of things are gone fast. Parking here is hit and miss, either totally packed or you'll find a good spot. read more

Prior to today Target was my #1 place to shop, as a new mom it doesn't get much better than Target. However they have broken my trust forever. Went to Target for Black Friday, their signs all over said "spend $50, get 20% off storewide". My initial thought was that 20% wasn't that great for Black Friday considering Fred Meyer had 60-70% off storewide. Got to checkout and surprise, none of it's on sale...but I got a "great" coupon good for 20% off my NEXT purchase. Seriously Target? Whose idea was that? Either you don't understand how Black Friday works or someone at the top thought they could pull a fast one. My shopping cart full of stuff I was tricked in to thinking was on sale will be returned and I will not continue to shop at a place with such scheming management. Shame on you. read more

I was followed the whole time all the way til the self check out. For a pandemic going on there was no attempt of social distancing. What's the point? Apparently the Target store at the Clackamas Promenade has been recently remodeled. That explains the new red concrete balls in front of the store. Wow...color me impressed. Red concrete balls. How exciting. They really did go all out, didn't they? There is now an actual Starbucks inside the store too. I guess I'm not sure how I ever managed to shop here before the incorporation of Starbucks. Looking back, how was I ever able to walk down the overly wide aisles filled with various affordable household items without the self inflicted jitters that come from too many espresso shots. Oh and by the way. Um, excuse me, large retail outlet...yeah, me, the trouble maker in the back. Quick question for you, if you don't mind? Just curious as to why in the hell it is always as bright as the sun's surface in your stores? Seriously, I thought my eye sockets were going to explode into a burst of flaming pupil, retina, iris and cornea pieces upon walking in on this particular dark evening. I can't be expected to navigate the store and then depart through the red concrete ball obstacle course with an active inferno where my eyes once resided. Can I? It is apparently evident that I am not a huge fan of this big red generic boxed retail giant. Yet I will admit that they came to my rescue this week...so gather round kids and hear the story about how on the night before the Tall Leggy One's departure to the freezing tundra of Minnesota, my X-box 360 decided to stop working. WTF? Are you kidding me? My entire week of freedom to be a nerd flashed before me as I sat confounded and dumfounded staring into the 3 red circles of death emanating from my xbox. Yes, most would choose to wait the endless month it takes to get their current gaming machine repaired. I didn't have a month to wait, and I am not the patient sort. I needed a new one and I needed it now. A recent drop in the base model price made this purchase a little easier to handle, although it made the new reduced priced console somewhat difficult to locate, especially with the holidays around the corner. Parked in the hidden parking lot behind Target, I quickly made my way in (avoiding the waist high red concrete balls), found the new location for the electronics department (figures, all the way in the back), and within 10 minutes I was in and out with my new purchase firmly in hand. Friendly service and I made it through without a completely going off on some witless shopper, unhelpful employee or screaming child. Overall, a painless trip, but one that I don't plan on making again any time soon. read more

I placed an order for pick up today and was notified that it would be ready in two hours. At about 35 minutes after I placed the order I was notified that it was no longer available for a pick up. I then attempted to choose another store, and yet the Clackamas store still shows the item available and in stock but not available for pick up. So I called the store and was given an excuse for a why it was no longer available. That's unacceptable and just poor customer service. If you would just process the order when it was received instead of waiting the entire two hours, it wouldn't have been purchased by someone else on the floor. This is my second bad experience with target in the past week. I don't think I'll be doing any shopping there anytime soon. read more

Target, let us have out now! I am so conflicted, we have such good times together. You make cute toddler clothes and I love me your twice yearly toy clearance, but this new return attitude... Let's be plain, it sucks! I went today to return a toy my girl got for her birthday, and exchange some clothes for bigger sizes. No, I did not get the gift receipt for the toy, because seriously sometimes love means not telling someone they have obnoxious taste and you return everything they buy. I might have asked had I known you would treat my return as some sort of crime against humanity. The guest service clerk had a major attitude. She had decided everything I said was wrong and irrelevant before I said it. She didn't even want to let me change the jeans I had for a bigger size without a receipt. It wasn't so much the rule changing, it was the whole attitude. I would seriously advice anyone getting married or having a baby to NOT REGISTER at Target anymore if they have this attitude about returns. Otherwise you will get stuck with tons of gifts you didn't like or can't use. read more

They discriminate against people. I do not wear a mask for medical reasons; I was physically stopped from entering the shopping area of the store by three people. When I told them I don't wear a mask for health reasons they claimed that in Oregon that exception does not apply. (I know this is not true and in violation of the Oregon and U.S. Constitution; I shop many places without a mask and my medical reason is respected.) The only way they were going to let me shop for my groceries was if I violated my medical condition. I cannot do that. They denied me service based on my condition and that is discrimination. I Experienced something that was undoubtedly disrespectful and was rude from this blonde cashier. Very unhappy with the unprofessionalism store employee. First, she tried to overcharged us ( I had to show her the priced tag). Second, she asked us "Do you want your change back?". WTF!!! Seriously. Targets new policy, which according to the employee I dealt with has been in place "forever", is new within the last 6 months to my knowledge and personally experience when making a return/exchange. Target no longer accepts returns or exchanges of any kind without either you receipt or the card used to purchase the item(s). The policy used to allow a yearly dollar limit on returns/exchanges using ID and this is no longer the case. So if you used cash and lost the receipt your shit out of luck. read more

Clean store. Friendly employees. Everything was well-stocked and organized. As Targets go, this one is good. As far as their choice of product selections or their business practices, you'll have to make those determinations for yourself after careful research on the interweb. I know how frustrating it is when you're understaffed and only self check and one lane is open and the self checkout line is long, however, we just needed formula for our baby who was crying and there was only one couple ahead of us and the lady that was already being checked out in front of them and after standing there for about 5-10 mins, the lady being checked out turns and tells the couple in front of us that they are the last to be helped. Are you serious? We were the last and only other people in line just buying baby formula and we're basically being told we couldn't be helped and had to go wait in the long self check out line. This was extremely infuriating and just bad form of customer service. Especially after we went to wait in the self check out line, more people got in line for the lane and weren't asked to leave the way we were. The manager didn't even say anything or take over to give the cashier a break or lunch if that's why she was closing her lane. Just bad form. read more

I love Target. If I am not careful, I can easily spend over a hundred dollars here. You can find almost anything at Target and they have resonable prices. The Sunnyside one is alot nicer since they remodeled it awhile back and I also like the fact that they added a pharmacy to this location. I was here to do some last minute shopping. For Christmas being just around the corner it was really clean, stocked, and organized! The nice thing about this target is also the fact that the clothes aren't as scrunched together. At most targets, the clothes isles are so narrow you can't even successfully push a cart around. The only reason I am giving this location 4 instead of a 5 is because I stopped and associate and asked, "Are you busy? Can I ask you a question?" His response was, "Yeah, but what's up?" One I thought it was a little too casual and that's just my opinion. Two, he could have said something other than, "Yeah." He could have said give me a second or something else that didn't make me feel like I was bothering him. Oh well. Still a good experience. read more

I now know the reason why I do not shop at Target (Sunnyside/Clackamas Location) more often. I needed to return an Item that I purchased for my sick child. Just a little back story: Over the 4th of July weekend, he was diagnosed with pink eye and then he had a cold (severe congestion) at the same time. We saw the Dr on 7/2 and then proceeded to go to Target (by her suggestion) to purchase a Cold Air Humidifier. I have to admit that I was in a hurry, son and husband were in the car, and didn't notice that the box looked half open and was noticeably re-taped. When I got it home, we had taken it out of the box and noticed the top (plastic) part was cracked and was also missing 1/2 of the packaging materials. My husband, not thinking about the fact that if it was damaged, we needed to return it the same day, filled it up with water because we needed to use it and (reluctantly) used it but noticed that it started leaking, so we unplugged it and put it back in the box. This last weekend I had taken it back, just to exchange it. I DID NOT WANT MY MONEY BACK. While I was waiting in line, there was only one clerk at the return desk (on SATURDAY??) She needed to get manager approval for something and had called for him over their walkie talkie. The conversation they were having back in forth was VERY unprofessional. They obviously needed to take that conversation into the break room or even outside. When I finally got up to the girl, I had explained the situation, as outline above, and she asked me, why I waited so long to return it??? Really?? My son had Pink Eye, which for those of you who don't know, is EXTREMELY, contagious. He had been sick for a week and a half. I then got Pink Eye. Fun 3 weeks. The clerk proceeded to tell me that, there was NO Way possible that they would have sold an item that was damaged like that. I had asked her if they open the boxes for items that are returned and she proceeded to tell me that , yes they do. She did reluctantly end up approving the exchange, but only after making me feel like I was trying to scam the store out of something or much worse, a criminal. Again, I was not expecting to get my money back. After getting a new product from the shelf, I had noticed that several of the boxes looked tampered with. I brought it back up and insisted, this time, to open it before I left the store. I had gotten a different clerk this time and I explained the situation about the boxes looking tampered and she said that she would look into it. I will have to think again before going to Target again, because of the situation. read more

Tar Je' (trying to sound French =P) My one-stop for anything useful, useless, and everything else in between. You can find almost anything here from cosmetics, to clothing, and even packaged foods. This is the place to go to (well for me anyway) when you can't figure out where else to shop. Shopping at Target is like scanning a menu, if you look through the whole menu and don't find anything appealing, then you shouldn't be spending your money in the first place and just make do with the stuff you have at home. When I do find that one thing I need though, most of the items are set at a reasonable price, so I'm usually content with my purchases. read more

How can ANYONE complain about Target? It's TARGET "corporate giant sell anything and everything" store. I would live at Target if I had the chance. I wouldn't mind a Target in my backyard so I could roll out of bed and walk to Target in my pajamas. I never leave the store empty handed, EVER! There is always something to buy and most things are SUPER cheap. I appreciate the remodel of this store. I love the new read plastic carts. The store is clean and not over packed. Everyone I've dealt with is friendly and quick. I will have to agree with the Starbucks kind of being over kill since there is another Starbucks next to Petco about a minute walk away. read more

Why does this Target only have 3 stars? =( It deserves 5. This is the largest and cleanest Target I've ever been to. It's also new and modern, with cool looking handbaskets and carts. The bathrooms have automatic everything. But the Target itself...you'll find everything you need here, just like any other Target. But this one is huge, spacious, and well-stocked. Great location too, across from Clackamas Town Center, in a large shopping center itself. You can get so much shopping done here at once! The parking lot is large too, I didn't have any trouble finding parking. I love Target! read more
