Quality and price is middle of the road. For me, Kohl's is never my destination or on my regular rounds. Once in awhile I stop in if I see an article of clothing that I found online or something on sale in their flyer and I want to check it out in person first. Afterwards, I quickly peruse the rest of the store. This location is ok, nothing special, typical Koh's. Depending on the day, the clothing section can be very disorganized and dressing rooms filled with clothing people leave behind. Sometimes there are super good sales that make the hunt worth it. Honestly, I wonder how this chain is still in business with other stores carrying similar merchandise at lower price points.

The dressing room attendant was probably the nicest person I've ever encountered at any retail store. The dressing rooms were also surprised, they're pretty clean and the doors go all the way down to the floor and are about 7 feet tall so that's the most privacy of ever experiencing my entire life trying on anything. It was very secure and comfortable. There was no line to check out as plenty of cashiers were on duty.

Since this coming New Year's will welcome 2020, I'm hoping someone, maybe me, will throw a fancy party. If so, I'll be there in style! Love how Ross is open until 11:00pm. Seems crazy to me but I'm often bored at night so this gives me a purpose, to go on a bargain hunt. Oddly, seems like others are on my schedule. Staff in fitting room, at jewelry counter, and check out were all friendly and helpful. Won't seek this particular Ross out as a destination as I do some of the other Ross locations, but since I was kind of in the area tonight (West Linn) I took the "scenic" route home so I could try my look at bargain shopping. By the time I arrived, I was dripping wet, tired and frustrated. The only reason I kept going, was I had to return an online purchase. Note to others: if this is your only destination, put West courtyard in your map search and park on 2nd level by the entrance! Once inside, the reps were nice, one even went and found the smaller sized shirt I needed for the exchange, and they processed the return of the dress quickly. Loft is not a store I frequent, in fact, I only made the online purchase because a button up denim midi dress kept stalking me on Instagram. Not knowing my Loft size, I bought two to try on, and had to return one. The denim dress is gorgeous, fits perfectly, and is a classic, timeless style that I can wear for years. I'm super happy with my purchase, if not the frustrating experience of trying to find this store. Next time I'll go to the Hillsboro location where you can just pull up in front of the store.

It has a larger variety of clothing, the store is much bigger, and it seems to get new arrivals a lot faster. The staff are always extremely friendly, even knowing their repeated customers by name (I'm not so sure that's a healthy reflection of my shopping habits). Denise and Shirly are always SO sweet and helpful-they're my go-to girls. The employees are also always wearing Loft clothing so they do a great job representing the brand and giving clients ideas on how to wear certain pieces (even helping them out of their comfort zones!) Even if it's extremely busy (like it was today) I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and given updates on what is new. Both the store and dressing rooms are very clean and organized, making it easy to browse and find what you're looking for. What can I say, I'm a Loft girl for life.

There is lots of really stylish clothing across a spectrum of prices, so something for everyone's budget. This visit, the back wall was adorned with several jean jackets, many with fun embellishments, making an Instagram worthy backdrop. Personally, I love the jewelry. Pieces from local artists, national designers, and inexpensive fashion jewelry as well. This visit they had an assortment of "bumblebee" pins that were vintage looking and so fun! This is not an "old lady" store, but a shop that carries quality shoes that allow you to walk pain free and keep your feet and knees happy! While I'd love to wear super sexy high heeled shoes, my feet require shoes that provide support and allow me to walk without pain from planter fasciitis. That doesn't mean the shoes can't also be attractive! For at least 15 years now, I visit Jay's a few times a year to buy sneakers (Dansko Paisley are good looking and the best walking shoes), sandals (Wolky, Birkenstock, Dansko), boots (Dansko, Vionic) and slippers (Halfinger.) Jay's always has a good selection, carrying the newest styles each season, plus the classics, from these Brands and many others. For example, I know that Wolky Jewel is so comfortable that I can wear right out of the box; therefore, I buy standard black and then a new color every year. They never go out of style, they wear exceptionally well, are attractive (get lots of compliments) and walking is pain free. Twice a year they have incredible sales and it's worth going to see what is available in your size. The racks are right when you enter and arranged by size. Do they have the $140 dollar Dansko slides you wanted in your size and are they on sale for $49? Yes! Score! That's what happened yesterday! There were also several pairs of sandals on sale for just $10 that were originally $125. That's a sale! During the Covid-19 days they are providing a sanitizing station, sell masks, wear masks, keep their distance, and have arranged the store so there is plenty of room for you to keep your distance while walking around to try on shoes. Typically the sales rep will put the shoes on me, but yesterday I tried on the sneakers myself. At the cash register, they have installed a plastic shield and there is sanitizer for you to use after using the pen to sign receipt. Jay's also sells wallets, which I needed since mine somehow disappeared the other day, so I picked up a bright turquoise one that is easy to spot. They sell cross body bags perfect for when you are walking but don't want to carry anything other than your phone, keys and credit cars. And some handbags. All are made of good quality leather and come in black and some surprisingly fun colors. Yesterday I picked up a new pair of Dansko Paisley since walking is the only exercise for me right now with all public and gym pools being closed, and scored a new pair of fur lined Dansko slip ons for the Fall. Then the guy said that markdowns are not marked off by pen. Then I told him that there were 2 of the same things marked the same way. I went to the shelf and showed him the other 2 items with the same pricing. He consulted with his coworker and decided to call the store manager. The manager said no and it would still need to be at regular price. I've never had this happen. Usually when there is a price difference and you find others with the same price, they honor the marked price. It was an unpleasant experience and probably need to revamp their policies to honor prices that are marked, especially if there are others with the same markdown price!
