I love this Target. I know some reviewers seem angry about certain company policies that are in place for the consumers protection but I appreciate it. If my card is not working I'm glad they don't put my number in the register. That's dangerous. And if they seem to be too helpful that prevents people from stealing. Therefore keeping costs down. But most of all I love this Target because the people working there seem genuinely happy! They like working there. Good to know employers are good to the ones actually on the floor! Always clean. I'm excited for Starbucks. I hate Pavillions so am glad I can get coffee at Target instead! I do miss the popcorn though.. Now I had to take a star down Target. I have witnessed several employees being screamed at by their "manager" in front of customers. This procedure is horrifying. Embarrassing for all involved. And honestly it feels more like bullying than coaching. Usually seems like made up problems and being angry with employees for following policies. Terrible customer service. I purchased an air mattress from the Anaheim Hills Target and I had to return it the next day because it leaked air around the air release cap.Target informed me that in accordance with their policy they don't refund air mattress, but they will exchange them. The problem was I purchased the last one the previous night. They told me to go look anyway because they might have received more. I walked to the aisle and sure enough they were still out of stock.They said I could get a different one of equal or greater value. I said I bought the most expensive one. I requested my money back since they couldn't replace the defective product. They refused and said it's my responsibility to locate the product at another Target store and go there to get a replacement. I told them I wasn't going to do that, so they told me I could either deal with the manufacturer, or come back to the Anaheim Hills store periodically to see if they received additional stock. I asked why they could just call when they received additional stock and the response was they have too many other customers to worry about replacing my defective product. This Target does not stand behind the products they sell, and their customer service is deplorable. Maria should look for another job. She's not suited for retail. read more

I am in this store every week and if not me its my wife. The store is clean and stocked well. I only have a few issues, 1 they don't carry regular coffeemate so I have to make an extra stop at a grocery store and the next issue is a big one....DO NOT EVER LOSE your receipt because they just don't care and say its company policy. What is there to say about Target that already has not been said? Nothing. This Anaheim Hills location happens to my one of my favorite Target stores. The cleanliness, customer service and stock availability easily bypasses other Target stores by far. Target has everything you could possibly think of including clothing for the entire family including pets, food, furniture, toys, electronics, kitchen items, household item, bathroom accessories and much more. Whether it be Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentines or whatever Holiday or celebrations, surely this store will have their seasonal items out before the rest of the competition. I'm huge on customer service and here they always exceed my expectations. A simple return, purchase and looking for an item, I know I am in good hands. Overall, its a great Target location read more

I went in to get valentines chocolates for my parents. I was looking at the signs saying 2 for $8 Ghirardelli chocolate.BUT it was the wrong chocolate underneath the sale sign. I found out at the self check out. WTF is wrong with your organization target. Pick up your game. Even when I asked an employee one of the labels, it was also on the wrong chocolate. OK, Target' if you keep upping your prices and NOT accepting all manufacturer coupons I'm going back to Walmart. I find myself heading over to Walmart more and more. Now, that I'm thinking about it, I haven't been to Target for 2 months. Walmart will match any advertised item and they even put the other ads at the front of the store. But, anyways I took a coupon off some detergent and it wouldn't scan. So, the cashier called for a manager and she said that Target doesn't accept all coupons. If it doesn't scan then they will not take it. I told her that I just took it off the product right here in front of the cashier and she said it didn't matter. I told her that Target should not allow the coupons on the products in the first place. Because that is like a "bait and switch" to me. "Here's a coupon for you but you can't use it here." Why wouldn't they take it? It's just weird. Now, I refuse to buy the product AND I have to either go home without detergent or go back into the store. Just went into to buy Diapers for my baby on the buy two get 10$ gift card promotion. Went to pay, did it in two transactions, so that I could use my 10$ off on my other purchase. First I was hassled by a cashier Sara who told me I could not use the gift card right away. She told me it's just "their policy" but said she didn't have it written. Then another person (manager?) named Courtney, says it's written in the ad. I ask her to show me....but of course she can't find it. Then says it's written in the cartwheel app. I had it already pulled up and guess what...not there either. She had no answer yet didn't want me to use the gift card. I've been going to this Target for several years now, and I've always been pleased with my experience there. The store layout is great, it's clean and well-stocked, and the employees are always friendly and accommodating. The other night, though, I had my best experience yet and need to share it. I was looking for a very specific item (a porcelain teapot) that I'd seen on Target's website, and as the store was on my way back home, I thought I'd swing by and see if I could find it there. I had my extremely fussy and teething four-month-old with me, who insisted on being carried the whole time I was there, so my hands were full and I was unable to grab a cart. After looking for about 10 minutes and being unable to find the teapot, I found an employee, an incredibly helpful and courteous man named Dave, who looked up the item, found out that it was in the back room of the store, and went to get it for me. Not only that, but he carried the teapot and another item I'd found to the front for me, since my hands were full with my baby, and he got another employee to check me out in Guest Services so I didn't have to wait in line. The whole time he was so kind and helpful, and he really made me feel like he genuinely wanted to help me, not just that he had to. After I bought my items, I wanted to tell a manager about how pleased I was with Dave's help, but my baby started fussing so badly that I had to leave before I could find one. So if there is a manager reading this, please know that Dave gave me one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. I will definitely be continuing to shop at this Target location. I shop at Target in Anaheim hills very frequently. And I am completely disappointed in my visit this time. I was able to shop, but wasn't able to do my gifts for photos. The computer stopped working twice while I was there. And did not get to finish processing because the computer shut down. And when going to leave the store, went to the restroom, a stall was out of service, the bathroom was such a mess, and both Towel dispensers were out of towels. I did have two people throughout my visit that were helpful. But one gal at returns was very rude. I understand customer service, because I work in that area, but please let's be clean, and respectful! Gees! read more

This is MY Target! From the clean, well stocked shelves to the fast friendly cashiers (Vicki is the best) it is the best Traget around. I buy clothes for the kids, household items, holiday neccessities, petfood, electronics, books, toys, paper products- I am in here literally everyday. While I do miss the Garden Center, it is really convenient that they have expanded to a full grocery selection (you do have to watch code dates and quality, though). My Target debit card doesn't hurt either as I get 5% off all purchases-YAY! read more

Sometimes I'll just wander around target when I'm bored. The store is always clean, popcorn is out in the open, and returns are super easy. Plus they store layout is easy to navigate, unlike some other targets (riverside, I'm thinking about you!). Andrea in the pharmacy gives the best flu shots. She is friendly and helpful with all your pharmacy needs. Sharon, a check out clerk, is a sweet, kind woman who always has a smile on her face. There is an older gentleman who stocks the cans on the shelves. He is meticulous, helpful, and friendly. The only issue I have with Target is when you try to take back an item past the 90 days, they are very strict. I understand if they no longer carry the item. I tried to take back plates they had in their current stock and they would not budge. A store credit would have been nice. read more

Ive been coming to this target since the 90s. Miss the garden section. The new remodel is taking a while, but that's to be expected. My only complaint is that the baby section worked better before. My stroller gets stuck in the clothes and I can barely fit a shopping cart through half of it. Everything is moving around once again like their grocery remodel. So things are in different spots. Just hope they get their money back after all this effort to improve the store. Starbuck and which wich are the cafe now.
