The littles were asleep in the truck already, so we just ordered 3x carne asada super burritos and a kids quesadilla to go. Service was fast, friendly, and on par with our expectations. The carne asada was way more flavorful and moist than expected, and the burritos were delicious. The kids quesadilla, was just that- plain tortilla and cheese. Two (8 inch?) tortillas and a little bit of cheese melted in the middle. It wasn't much cheese and was surprisingly expensive for what it was, in my opinion. I came in with my whole soccer team as a place to eat in between games. We had a soccer tournament nearby and wanted some place to eat for lunch that wasn't burger/pizza/fries. You can customize anything you order here. Kids burrito was ginormous and my son ate most of it. I ordered 3 different tacos (carnitas, al pastor, and carne asada), and they were all decently sized. We also got free chips and there is a salsa bar. Everyone was kind and nice to our group. One of the kids spilled their blue Gatorade and they quickly cleaned it up. I usually order their tacos or a burrito bowl and they are both tasty options. The restaurant can get somewhat busy during dinner time, but there is plenty of indoor seating and a few tables outside. They have a full menu with a large variety of food to choose from. There is a self-serve salsa bar, fountain drink dispenser and bottled drinks options. They also make fresh lemonade (highly recommended) and horchata. I typically call in my food order for pick-up. My food has always been ready within about 15 minutes. The staff who work the front are always a pleasure to deal with. The couple times I have eaten at the restaurant, it has the typical atmosphere you would expect. I would say the noise level is mostly quiet and average during peak times. This is our 2nd time trying this spot and it's a hard NO for us. Food was over priced and quality wasn't the best. I had 2 chile rellenos. Barely any sauce. The egg coating was flat and tasted and looked old. I know you can freeze the stuffed chile but it doesn't take much to whip up the egg batter and coat it fresh. My husband liked his pastor burrito but it was small. My son's quesadilla barely had meat in it. I asked her to put the guac and crema on the side. She didn't. I asked for a side of crema, $1.08 for maybe 2 tablespoons of crema. I over heard another person requesting the avocado salsa, which is extra, and they were also small cups and .80 a piece. He had mentioned the price of the salsa and she said avocados are very expensive. I agree, but still. .80....c'mon. They do have a little salsa bar, but nothing to talk about. read more

I am not one that complains a whole lot but the that we finally received this last time from was complete garbage. My daughter ordered a taco salad with Carne Asada in it. They forgot to put it in the taco shell bowl. They didn't give her rice with it. basically just gave her a salad with what looks to be maybe a scoop of Carne Asada on it I am one that orders Carnitas quite often most of the time in a burrito. The Carnitas tasted as if they were sitting under a heat tortilla was stale and the burrito was cold. We live 2 1/2 minutes from this place, and if it was fresh, it still should've been warm. If not, still hot definitely overcook the Carnitas once again if they had been pan all day we've been back three times since we've noticed a change in the quality and quantity of the I don't mind paying a higher price for but when it is this bad, I would definitely not recommend anybody go to this place moving forward me and my family will not. It is just sad that a place uses loses. One of my friends recommended this place, and it's about 5 minutes from work, so I figured why not. I ordered food to go for my family and we got 2 burritos and 3 tacos. The portions at this place are bigger than any other Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The burrito I had was enough to feed me for 3 meals. I had the super burrito with shredded beef and my kids had chicken tacos, and they loved it. We didn't eat there but the place is spacious and has a lot of seating. We all settled for Las Casuelas in Ripon we picked the place in Ripon due to the wife had to be at work soon and works in Tracy while I had to stay close to Pelandale for my son's Dr appt. As we were driving to Las Casuelas, wife called and said the restaurant in Ripon has 2 1/2 stars. My wife said the Taqueria across the street had 4 stars. I'm shocked to hear Las Casuelas having only 2 1/2 stars. We decided to try the Taqueria Ripon. As we walked in they have a nice establishment with a salsa bar. I was getting excited. I walked up to the register and I was greeted by the chips. Boom I'm ready to chow down on some chips and salsa. We all ordered burritos and I ordered extra chips. I sat down with the chips and salsa. I'm going to say the chips were a disappointment. They were not warm and did not taste fresh. The salsa I chose was just ok. The burrito on the other hand was humongous. My poor son had trouble holding that bad boy up. The burrito was great. Very tasty. I would definitely come back again for the burrito.
