BEST BIRRIA DE CHIVO IN TOWN If you are looking to eat the best birria this is it!! Expect a delay if you go Saturday and Sunday morning this place is always pack so always expect to wait around 25 min or so if you are not willing to wait go to the next spot and stop leaving bad reviews to this place is just not fair people should be more understanding when you have a place to run like this one and is always pack there will be delays Anyway going back to my review I always stop by for birria Sunday morning , love the atmosphere the live music (mariachi band ) and the huge homemade tortillas The mariscada is always a good appetizer if you are not hungry enough. I like how they make the micheladas with not so much Clamato like others places Over all I give this place a 5 start review I will highlight recommend this place for birria de chivo

Service was horrible, we were sat down right away and then ignored after they gave us our drinks. We first asked for a coke and a water, instead of a cup with water we were handed a water bottle. I wasn't going to pay restaurant prices for a water bottle so I asked for a lime jarto to instead. After waiting a decent amount of time for our waitress to stop gossiping, we decided to leave and just pay for the sodas. Another lady came out from the back with the rudest face. We were shocked that our total was over $10!! Ridiculously overpriced! Please save your time and money, I know I will!

I'm happy to find this gem of restaurant .. Had there cantarito and Jaimaica both were good . I'm definitely coming back again. Husband is from Jalisco, and he said their birria was delicious and he's very picky when it comes to birria. Had to get a plate to go it was so good.

Came here in a friends recommendation. It is in a shady part of town but it was worth it. The birria was delicious and the hand made tortillas were awesome. Service is a bit spotty seems like they were new but no matter, next time I'll just get that birria to go. Saw a sign before we left that they serve iguana broth on Monday's? That sounds like fun so next time my daughter is home from college we are going to try it.

If you're ever on the 99 and want to stop for great food this is the place for birria. They have beef or goat beef. Fresh Tacos de birria as well Tortillas echas a mano (handmade) Salsas are fresh Affordable Consome (broth) is amazing The best part about the birria I thought, it was meticulously prepared NOT to have any bones in it. Unlike other spots I had before. For me i eat and talk and get careless definitely don't want to choke or anything. Good place to get birr

Brought here for bunch by a friend who's from the area and it was okay. I was thinking of just giving them 3 stars but the live music did bump it up a bit. Parking gets crazy and if you do come I recommend the birria. Seems to be their specialty. I'm personally not a big fan but if I have to come back I'd probably opt for ordering it. This time around I had a chicken fajita and that was NOTHING like a fajita. I wish I'd taken a picture but I started eating it and totally forgot about the picture. The chicken was not the long slice pieces of chicken I normally get at other places. It was more like fried chunks of chicken loaded with chunky pieces of red and green bell pepper. Their handmade tortillas did make the difference and I'd be tempted to come back just for that. Their side dish of refried beans (lame) and rice (cold and chunky) were disappointing to say the least. Their michelada were good but not the best ever. They did have live music, I can't say whether it was a band or a mariachi but it's always nice to have live music going on while you have a meal. The server was nice and the owner graciously changed the channel from Fox News to Sunday Football. ;) Apparently they will be serving carnitas soon so we might go back to check them out. Yum

Worth it! Walked into a very quiet, but colorful restaurant with only one other patron inside. The employees were so nice. We were told to pick anywhere, we were brought menus and instantly asked if we'd like anything to drink or if we wanted to look at the menu first... We asked for suggestions and the waitress offered the types of drinks they have. She brought us chips and salsa. The chips were homemade with a perfect crunch. The salsa was fresh, chunky and not spicy. The pepino cone limo aqua Fresca was the best aqua Fresca I've EVER had. Not too sweet at all and was SO REFRESHING. We also ordered an horchata and I was told that was just as good. The food... Where to start. We ordered an empanada and some quedabirria tacos. The empanada was HUGE, deliciously filling with fresh ingredients. It had great flavor. The quesabirria tacos were probably the best we've had. You order the amount you want. They are 5.99 each and oh so delicious. The meat tasted SO FRESH and flavorful. The creamy jalapeño salsa had a NICE kick to it. All meals come with radish and pickled onions as garnish, but eating them with the meal made it even more refreshing and delicious. They need more than one location, but until then we will be back! My only real recommendation is to avoid sitting in the bar area if you're in a hurry. Service there tends to move a lot slower, so it can take a while to get your order in and get your food. The restaurant itself is a little run down, and the bathrooms could definitely use some attention, but the bar and outside area is decorated nicely and has a good atmosphere overall. Instead of trying to resolve the situation or make it right, the manager, Noah, became argumentative and tried to debate what had been said rather than listen to the customer. After waiting that long, the last thing anyone expects is to feel like they have to argue just to be heard. What made it more disappointing was the lack of willingness to fix the issue or offer a solution. We came in hoping for a good meal and left feeling frustrated and unheard. It's sad because good service could have easily turned this into a positive experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. At the end of it he realized and came back and finally apologized.

The burrito was decent, definetely could have used at least some more salsa, ended up being a filler on my plate. I saved the best for last, the classic enchilada was smothered in a delicious salsa that I dipped my other two items into. If you want to try out different things and get a good amount of food for your money, you can't go wrong with the build your own combo, especially from this establishment. I asked for grilled chicken and got stewed chicken with absolutely zero flavor. They said it came with guacamole and sour cream--neither were anywhere to be found. The "salad" was basically lettuce, pico, and whole beans with a super tiny portion overall. I added bell peppers and onions, maybe five pieces total, and they hit me with a $6 upcharge. Would've been nice to know that before so I could've said no thanks. Final price for this subpar salad? $25. I actually had to go back just to show them. The bar manager, Hamad (spelling), tried to help by adding more chicken and then told me the sour cream and guac were "under the shell." Really? Who hides condiments under the shell?
