Have been here a few times and never been disappointed. Great service and tapas. The sangria are amazing. I've tried to recreate their secret recipes and have yet to figure it out lol. Definitely recommend read more

This was my dinner. This is a picture before I even took a bite. The main course was steak with a side of alfredo noodles. This also came with an appetizer which fit on a potato chip. The dessert also was included which was so small I had to pay for ice cream with it. Total bill $40. I will never ever set foot in that restaurant again. Even the waiter commented about it to us. I was a party of two and we both received the same deplorable meal. My friend refused to eat the pasta because even with sprinkling salt upon it, it was tasteless. We paid our bill and went somewhere else for dinner. read more

Looked this spot for a quick Sunday bite in downtown. Wait time was not that bad and menu is posted outside for you to see / to promote a contactless approach. Once you come in, they check your temp and ask if you want to sit outside or inside. They also ask you take a photo of the menu so you can have a reference. Our wait time to get the waitress was typical nothing too crazy. We had apps for food and they were pretty feeling and tasty. Fave things were the apple and manchego empanadas and steak cocas. The chicken empanadas were just okay. We also got a pitcher of the sangria (blood orange ) and definitely recommend. You get your money's worth. The restaurant has a split French and Spanish section which is pretty cool but not sure if the menus differ. There are some things not listed on the menu so you may have to ask if you are craving something. Downside was our waitress seemed like she was in a rush and even though she checked in she quickly walked away before we were able to ask anything. Ambiance was okay and only one restroom (that I saw). Great spot for quick bites and drinks - may be limited if it's a big group read more

Great breadth of options in their small plates. I would swear that the sequencing of delivering them is well thought through. My wife and I ordered six small plates total, with a beautiful crescendo through the end. Every plate was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other small plates! read more

Awful now! This used to be good but, once the new owners bought it, it quickly went downhill. Bad food, terrible service, and atmosphere has declined. What a shame! read more

Seating here is both in Tapas on Main and Cachette its French counterpart. Sangria pitcher special for $20 was a hit. There had 6 different kinds. Spinach dip, Scallops, and Beef Tips were a hit. Eggplant meatballs were good, but needed some salt and pepper. The biggest issue was the speed of service. We paid for two hours of parking and had to leave without finishng 2nd pitcher or being able to order dessert because service was so slow. Two tables that arrived after us had tapas after tapas arrive at their table while we waited 2 hours for 4 small items. Awful! read more

Great little spot. Ended up in Bethlehem, somewhat unexpectedly, during the busy Christmas season. Happened upon this place and we were not disappointed. The Grilled Artichokes were great and they were our least favorite dish of the night. The restaurant was quite crowded. We grabbed a seat at the bar after a short wait and decided to eat there. Service could have been a bit faster, but the crew was working their rears off. Another bartender probably would have helped. All of the staff were very friendly. We are already planning a return visit! read more

Came here for a date night. Our waitress acted like she couldn't be bothered to have any personality whatsoever. She said nothing most of the time and barely greeted us. If you hate your job that much, find another one. The paella was bland and served directly out of the oven in a SCALDING hot cast iron skillet. Our bored, barely conscious, rude waitress half warned us they were hot, but since the handles to the cast iron stuck out in both sides, my boyfriend and I both burned ourselves. His has a huge blister. There is absolutely no reason to serve food in something that hot. The only reason I didn't give this place one star was because the teeny empanada we had was good. That was it. We won't be back. read more

Perfect birthday dinner! Such a warm atmosphere on a snowy night. The manager was fantastic. The food outstanding ..pork belly that just melted in your mouth! Even a special birthday inscribed dessert. Thank you for making it a memorable birthday! read more

We had such a great dinner experience! We were in town for a weekend and we're looking for some dinner. Due to Covid, we just wanted to pick up but no one was picking up the phone. We guessed they were busy so we just went there. It was me, my husband and our baby. I did not think we would be eating inside because I'm very careful about dining indoors these days, but I got there and the wonderful host showed me a seat by the window that was away from everyone else. It fit us perfectly! 2 adults and a baby in a stroller. Our server was just as awesome as the host and recommended salmon tartar to start. We also had pork appetizer. It was sooo good!!! We shared the paella with everything on it for our main course and it was delicious! Even the baby was well behaved the whole time so it worked out. We were so glad we had dinner here! 5 stars for sure! Loved it! Wish I was near because I want to try other dishes!!! read more

We received a gift certificate to Tapas on Main. Initially, my Spanish husband wasn't too excited to try it. He hasn't had good luck when American restaurants try to do tapas, even ones in New York and Vegas ("tapas in PA?"). The restaurant won him over, though: big time! He was super impressed with the quality, and even said everything was very authentic. Tapas plates (garlic mushrooms, pork belly with red pepper jam, and chicken chorizo croquettes) were phenomenal. We would order each dish again. We shared a seafood paella, which was incredibly well-seasoned, and the rice still had a little bite to it, which is our preference. There was no socarrat, which was a little disappointing: as we both normally fight over the pieces of rice that stick to the pan. Still, it was clear the Chef knew how to make a paella. We really enjoyed our meal. Pics don't do it justice. My only complaint was the cocktail. I don't remember what it was called but it had gin, lemon, pear: all things I like. And something called Liquor 43. Which as it turns out, is pretty awful (tastes strongly of vanilla). I took one sip and really hated it. It didn't seem like the type of place to send a drink back, but I hoped the server would notice and give me a chance to order something else. He didn't, even though I kept placing it very prominently on the table, completely full, throughout the meal. (I made it a point to feature it in all of the photos, next to the delicious food.) read more

Have eaten here several times and always a good experience. Gets busy on weekends! Most recently ate early on a weeknight and lots of available tables. Good service and have never had a dish we didn't like! Lots of gluten-free options if you need them. The pork belly and artichoke hearts are scrumptious. Only strange thing is the restrooms. Go past the bar and through the exit. You'll think you're leaving the place but will enter a dark hallway where the restrooms are hidden. ;-) read more

We had a large party with different tastes & ages. Everyone found something in their preferences. The small plates were shared beautifully between those of us who enjoyed that type of dining experience and those who didn't were able to get full size plates of a single entree, and the children's menu was great for our younger ones. The service was excellent & we had a wonderful time meeting with new and old family! read more

We had very good service in the ambience is pretty cool. My wife and son both got savory crêpes which they enjoyed. The French dip crêpe could have used a little little bit more base for flavor. I ordered one of the paella dishes and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. It was very salty lacked any true flavor and the seafood was microscopic. I would go again, but I would probably order a crêpe. read more

I've been here twice. The first time, the wait was forever after we ordered. This time, we ordered right away and the food came fairly quickly. However, we order 4 different small plates, all worse than the last. Bland, unseasoned, generally terrible. And I ordered a cocktail, which was brought out after I already asked for the check. And our waters were never refilled. So I recommend going anywhere else. I definitely won't be going back a third time. Ugh no. read more

Still one of my favorite restaurants Ensalada verde is still an excellent dish. The sweet pears tasted like they were poached with cinnamon and/or nutmeg. The combination of greens, pears, goat cheese was SO tasty. I added seared (not blackened) rare tuna to this salad, and I highly recommend this. The tuna was very fresh, expertly prepared and was a tasty accompaniment to the salad. The strawberry sangria was tasty; quite sweet. They were out of basil leaves that day, so they substituted mint leaves and I couldn't taste the mint. But the sangria was still tasty. My only disappointment was the Crepe Suzette, a dessert I've had several times at Tapas on Main, and one of the dishes that I look forward to. Instead of tasting like orange liqueur, the sauce tasted like watered-down orange marmalade; not bad, but not WOW like I was expecting. The dessert crepes are sweet and delicious, so I do recommend a sweet crepe for dessert. I am aware that the price of alcoholic beverages has risen tremendously in the past few years; maybe they had no choice but to stop using orange liqueur. I would prefer paying a higher price and getting the real deal. read more

Starting out as always with allergen/cross contamination awareness. Kitchen staff was very forward with their practices. They do fry nuts in their deep fryer. Most say that a frying oil kills off any of the proteins that cause a reaction but that is something to be aware of. The staff was very kind and attentive and did a great job serving us. Food got out very quickly and was consistently good throughout the entire meal. The crab croquettes were definitely the star of the dinner and dear lord were they phenomenal. It was a juicy, well seasoned, ball of joy. One of the best croquette of any kind that I have had in a while! We also had a delicious cheese pate to share and their eggplant "meat"balls. This was like a small two bite sized eggplant parm that held together better than any eggplant parm I've been served due to their compact size. Really good. Prices seemed fair and overall we had a great experience. My chief complaint is a lack of many vegetarian/pescatarian options. I felt very limited and would have loved to try more. My friend Anthony had a sausage and muscle dish that he absolutely loved though. All around worth a stop. read more

The service was so bad. It didn't seem busy but it took us at least 20 min to get our waitress, 30 min to get drinks, and even longer to get food. When I got our appetizers, we didn't have utensils, the spinach dip was impossible to break through with the bread but we didn't even have a spoon or anything to dip into it. When we got our food, my steak was cold. She asked me if i wanted it reheated, and i told her not if they're going to just throw it back on the grill because i want a medium steak. They remade it, still wasn't hot but i am just too hungry at this point. I ate my food and still am waiting for my second drink. The service was just very very slow. it lacked. Very disappointed. After how many things we sent back or complained about a manager never came over and spoke with us. Just altogether disappointed with this entire visit. read more

I visited Tapas on Main with my parents on a Thursday night. We did not make a reservation which was alright. At first we were seated at a very cramped table which was meant for two people. But upon request we were moved over to a table for four. The ambiance in the restaurant is very dark. We ordered the pork belly, lamb chops, grilled scallops, filet tips, crab croquette, seared tuna, paella palomino and the mussels! Notable dishes were the grilled scallops and the lamb chops. The food was good and I would probably return back later. read more

I keep wanting to like Tapas! I've been here about 4 or 5 times now. I always feel disappointed by the food specifically. The service is great, I love the ambiance, and the drinks are tasty. But if you order food... keep it simple. I ordered small plates, a pitcher of sangria, and vegetarian paella on my last visit and I was excited. Paella was a bit of a splurge, being close to $20 for that alone, but I was celebrating and figured dropping $100 on a meal was worth it.. Paella was super disappointing, I know the rice should be a little firmer but it bordered on inedible. There was no crispy caramelization. I was left feeling like I had just paid ~$20 for some poorly cooked rice and veggies. I want it to be better and it would be my favorite restaurant. It's just not, so after multiple visits, I give up. read more

We had a nice meal here. Anything with the garlic shrimp is a must order-the garlic shrimp flatbread was to-die for! Served piping hot and so yummy. The croquettes are ok-frankly need more sauce. The eggplant meatballs were also a standout (FYI-we are pescatarian so didnot try the meat dishes). Don't forget to order a cheese plate which comes with two yummy jams and the cheese is shaved impossibly thin and so delicious. It is loud in here and we had a couple of other tables with cacklers which was unfortunate. And the restrooms are hard to find and although reasonably clean, someone should check on the trash as it was over flowing. The wine list is nice and they also have extensive sangria and paella options. Can sit outside with your dog too if the weather is nice. A pleasant and delicious surprise! read more

I didn't post originally but I looked up the restaurant because I am trying to recreate their grilled artichoke dish - which was amazing. I saw some bad reviews and wanted to balance it out, because my group of 4 had a great meal. We sat outside, had great service, and loved that we could order from the other restaurant next door as well. The frites from Cachette with Gruyere and bacon were fantastic. Gambas were also delicious. We were actually quite full when they got to the table, but we still polished them off between our party of 4. I think we would have all preferred two artichokes and dissing the croquettes. They were fine, just personally I've never found croquettes very exciting. The vinegars and oils they use from Seasons store - one of their neighbors - are amazing. If you are in Bethlehem or going by, recommend lunch at Tapas on Main and picking up some amazing oils/vinegars at Seasons - https://www.seasonstaproom.com/ read more

We have been here several times before and it was always very good and busy, however that was not happening this time we walked in on a tuesday at 3 PM and was told it would be a 30 min wait, we said ok and put our name in, but there where signs lots of empty tables not cleaned and the hostess (1st impression of the restaurant sorry but you are ) totally disinterested in putting any effort into job Ex: "hello how many? " nothing at all just its gonna be 30 mins, so we get sat and its really not that busy, but our server was really nice and she is the reason for the 2 stars all to her, the food was lackluster at best this place was always spot on with presentation and spices, so something internal was happening between the kitchen and host not seating the restaurant. But sadly not a great experience will not be in any hurry to return read more

We had a family dinner tonight at Tapas on Main. Things started out OK but we had a major issue. My son ordered the French onion soup and a few bites in he discovered a beetle cooked in the broth! Naturally we told the waitress. She apologized and took the soup back and offered to give him a new one. Uh... no!!! So she said we will take it off your bill. I asked to see the manager. She came over and suggested that the beetle had flown in to the soup. Since it was under the cheese that would have been a neat trick! I told her this isn't just like the order was wrong or something wasn't cooked properly...this is a department of health issue! She begrudgingly took off the price off of a flatbread that my son had also ordered. I said so that's it? Yep that's it! There are many better choices in downtown Bethlehem. The other food (without beetles) was just meh. In particular I would not order the paella. The chicken and steak were tough! Not good! read more

What a great spot! We started with the meat & cheese appetizers along with some delicious blackberry sangria . Next we had some scallops over mashed potatoes, which was by-far my favorite item on the menu. We finished the night with the seared tuna over corn & the beef tips. The tuna was delicious! An awesome place to come to eat and hang out. They have a large variety of drink specials and custom sangrias - a pumpkin spice sangria sounded too...exotic for my taste but I'm sure there is a selection for all. The atmosphere is calm and dark. Loved the food, you wont go wrong with anything you order. All you have to do is ask the server taking care of you about anything on the menu and they will happily help you choose as per your taste. I've been to tapas quite a few times and it has always been great. It's fairly easy to get seated and the service is very quick. The food there is pretty good, and I think the portions are reasonable for the price you pay. It's nice that you're able to order from both Tapas and Cachette. Tapas really excels in dinners, while Cachette excels in desserts. It's a great balance. I liked it a lot. Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, band the food and ambiance was truly exception. Will definitely return.

We recently ordered take out food from this restaurant, for a group of four, and were looking forward to having tapas for dinner. We ended up being extremely frustrated. The Vieras al Sartén (Seared Sea Scallops) were served on a bed of what appeared to be "ensaladilla", which is typically eaten in Spain and is similar to a potato salad. Both the scallops and the ensaladilla were so salty we couldn't eat more than one bite. The Croquetas de Cangrejo Azul (Blue Crab Croquettes) were also salty but not as salty as the scallops; however, they did not taste like crab. The filling seemed to be a flour-like mixture. The Brochetas de Carne (Beef Tenderloin Tips) were edible but hard to chew. The beef was very tough. The potatoes they were served with were the best part of the whole meal. The Gambas al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp) were just okay but also unusually salty. We love the concept of having tapas for dinner but what a disappointment this place was! read more
