Mongolian beef

4.5/5 Most dishes were very delicious! I'm usually picky with lamb because it can be too gamey/earthy if seasoned or cooked wrong. This place nailed it! The flavor was deep, not too spicy and meat was quite tender. Another highlight was the typhoon lobster. The crispy garlic was so addicting. Orange chicken was not my favorite and tasted like something you can find in the frozen section at a grocery store. The intestine dish was decent but not enough umami, although my friend really liked it. Service was okay. Spacious inside. There was a line when we got there. I would love to come back and get the lamb again and also try a noodle dish!

Authentic Chinese food. Every dish we ordered were good. Food was ordered via an iPad. This place had a ton of dishes selections and even more compared to their sister restaurant, hunan bistro. The bean curd dish I forgot and took pic late cause we all really liked it. We can at dinner time and place was busy. The servers are running around to try their best to serve customers. Servers also recommended a lot of other dishes we can try next time. Besides the seating outside there are also two big rooms in the back you can reserve for bigger groups, which is nice for gathering. I'm so happy my city now has more and more Chinese food options and has a place like this. Will be back to try other dishes.

Honestly ambiance is cute and service was efficient and friendly! I thought the dishes were all pretty tasty, and it tasted more authentic than I expected! The pepper beef has really juicy mushrooms!

Chinese restaurant specializing in Hunan and Sichuan dishes. Definitely family style eating. Order a bunch of different dishes and everyone shares from community. Our group was a party of 10 so we got sat in a special room with a lazy susan. Lazy susan was very lazy. The table top is so heavy, it doesn't spin well. Most dishes are spicy and I don't think they adjust that. My favorites were steamed pork belly, twice cooked pork belly, mapo tofu, sliced fish fillet in chili, and green beans Everything is ordered on an iPad. Floors in the main area are wildly slick/slippery. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful new Chinese restaurant specializing in Hunan cuisine. The standout dish was the toothpick cumin lamb -- The pieces were so crispy yet also tender and just wonderful flavor! We also got fish in hot chili oil, eggplant and green bean, and pork belly with mustard greens. All of it was super solid and tasty. This place also gets a huge plus from how beautiful they made it look inside, and the fact that they have a couple of private rooms for larger groups. This is absolutely going on to the top of my list for having group dinners.

The food is amazing and very flavorful. I highly recommend the cumin lamb skewers. They are so crispy and aromatic. A lot of the food here is meant to be spicy, so be aware if you have a bad spice tolerance. There is plenty of parking and also lots of tables. You order everything on an ipad, so you can take however long you want ordering.

I ordered the beef fried rice not spicy but it was still too peppery. I specifically asked the hostess which dishes weren't spicy and she said fried rice. Tao is a Hunan Szechuan restaurant which is too spicy for me. My husband and son both enjoyed the steamed BBQ pork buns. Though, I don't think I'll be back.

It's a new Chinese restaurant. I think the old location was Mikado which is closed. I ordered 4 dishes. I like the spicy chicken a lot. Very tasty and crispy.

Food all good. I don't like sweet taste. The eggplant and green leaf vege all had a hint of sweetness. I preferred salty but they all were good even with sweet taste I don't care. The fish and toufu is the best

We are vegetarians. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

We visited as a group of four, and we're all vegetarians. The service was excellent--they were very accommodating and kindly removed the meat from dishes upon request. Everything we ordered was delicious. It's rare to find a Chinese restaurant with so many vegetarian-friendly options and such great flavors. We will definitely be coming back. We really enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this restaurant!

Toothpick Cumin Lamb

The food was kinda hit or miss. I liked their cumin lamb, but the braised tofu was kinda bland. Soup dumplings were okay. The restaurant is spacious with lots of tables. Service was great.

The place reminded me of Ling Wu in the Grove area because the decor looked similar. Maybe they are owned by the same people? Firstly, I was impressed with the fact they had a FREE parking garage nearby since this is in the downtown area and next to Whole Foods. It took me a bit to find it as I'm directionally challenged, but I did and was just running a bit late. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails. I got the Singaporean noodles, a mezcal drink, and a sake. The serving size was big so I had plenty to take home. We shared many of the other dumplings and dim sum items. Everything was very good! The place wasn't too crowded so after we paid our bill we sat around for a while longer to chat and catch up. Usually someone would come by to see if we needed or wanted anything further, but no one did so we kept chatting and left. I'm happy to know of a central location with easy parking as a future place to meet people. I wish they had a happy hour because the bill for 3 of us was unexpectedly higher than usual.

Shrimp and walnut prawn very delicious good size portion nice big shrimp and not gooey . Combination fried rice has plenty of meat. Great flavor and shockingly also has large shrimp. Mongolian beef because I thought I had to give it a try most Asian places I am very particular and don't like chewy meat. Very good not chewy! Bakmi Ayam noodles with chicken and mushroom very good. I like this more than I thought I would. I also appreciate that it had fresh greens on top. it's also served with some chicken broth. I did not use it yet, smells amazing though. When I walked in, I was greeted by two friendly young ladies. I placed my order and waited. I do not have a large waiting area. They also do not have a large dining room. I would love to come back and bring friends as it's a very cute place and the staff is very friendly. Small and casual decor would be a great place to come with friends. They do have some Asian beer in the back cooler. I can see from where I am standing. I apologize, not taking a photo of each dish however I didn't think about it until after I made my plate.
