H2: Lotus Root Salad with Shrimp and Pork
Emily Y.

Nice place with unique authentic vietnamese dishes. Walking in, there were a few vietnamese families and my party of 2 was seated immediately. A bit further north, but if you have a specific craving you can't find elsewhere, this might just hit that spot. The food and veggies were very fresh. The workers were also very nice and courteous, answering any questions we had about the dishes. It's no longer in the soft opening, though a few of the items were temporarily unavailable. One small thing was that we were only given a small plate initially to eat everything on, which was hard to work with especially when it came to wrapping the shrimp with vermicelli rolls, but they easily gave us each a bigger plate when asked.

Some of the best noodles we've had, tucked away into an overlooked part of The Domain. Xian Sushi…read moreand Noodle is doing something right with an expansive menu full of Chinese classics and fun drinks. We arrived with a party of 5 and were able to be seated right away. The inside is nice and quaint but did have a strange music playlist. Not sure that really matters but was something we noticed. We ended up getting the soup dumplings, braised beef noodle soup, shoyu ramen, sticky lotus rice, and a lychee martini. The food came out at a decent time but in between ordering and getting our food a few members of our party ran into issues where the restaurant was out of things and they had to keep coming back to clarify what they did have which felt a bit off. Once the food came all was forgiven because it was pretty good. The ramen and braised beef noodle soup were both delicious, deeply rich with flavor and with perfectly textured noodles. The soup dumplings were ehh but the sticky rice and lychee martini made up for it because both were good as well. Xian Noodle is definitely a good, casual spot around a bunch of shopping making it a nice spot to just pop into. The food is good but the service, or at least preparation, could be improved. Either way the food more than makes up for it and is well worth a try.

There was only us and another table at the time with 1 server. We were sat promptly and scanned the QR code on the wall to view the menu and order online. It was not clear that you had to order the AYCE dim sum via the server. No worries, we switched to the paper menus. Everything was disappointing. - Char siu bao was still frozen in the center. We had to inform our server to get a "fresh" one made. Still was not good. - Xiao long bao, shiumai, and hot chili dumplings were at least hot but just ok - Honestly can't remember which rolls we ordered but they were just mediocre, at best. There was still only 1 server when 4 more tables started filling up. I guess one of their co-workers just clocked in for the lunch rush because we finally saw someone different when we paid and left. Regretted coming here.

Done with fire bowl, have had 3 visits in the last 2 months as the flavor is so good and I crave it…read morebut I just have to walk away at this point. With being close to many large corps like Dell they do get a lot of large take out orders which is fantastic I love to see places stay busy, it's hard for restaurants right now. But there is literally zero reason there should ever be a 30 min ticket time with zero line to order. At the 25 min mark I got up and had to ask for it to go. The manager was extremely friendly. Poor guy was busting his ass, they all were. Seemed fully staffed. But I can't trust them to get me my food in a lunch standard amount of time. This is considered "fast" food a ticket time should be at tops 15 min. Literally 30 min on the dot and all I got was I'm sorry leading me to believe this is a normal occurrence. When paying $15 for one lunch with zero sides, I can't continue to support them. I'm sure they will be fine with the big corps and their company credit cards but as a consumer on my own dime I'm scrubbing fire bowl from my lunch rotation. I'll say today it also smelled like mildew when I walked in. It was off putting and wondering if there is an underlying issue. Something to look into for sure. I also would advise moving the self order kiosk, the reflection is bad enough n front of the window making it frustrating to see. Annnnnnnnnd just found black hair in my food, I'm a light brunette dyed blonde it's sure as heck not mine.... Barf, I could literally cry after today.

Our hibachi chef, Fernando, was absolutely amazing--funny, entertaining, and genuinely attentive throughout the meal. He had us laughing the entire time, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was also very clean, from the dining area to the tables, plates, and overall presentation. You can tell they take pride in maintaining a welcoming environment. I highly recommend this place, but if you're lucky enough to get Fernando as your chef, it takes the experience from 80% to 100%!

1 star. The $5…read moreappetizer promotion is advertised as a great deal, but apparently there's a catch: it's only available if you sit at the bar. If you're sitting in the dining area, they won't honor the same promotion, even though it's the exact same restaurant and the appetizer is normally $9. I've been allowed to order the $5 appetizer from the dining area before, so being told tonight that it was suddenly not allowed--and having an argument with the waiter over it--was extremely frustrating. What makes this even more ridiculous is that we regularly come here and spend around $200 for four people. We've been repeat customers, and you would think there would be some common sense and consideration when dealing with a regular customer over a $4 appetizer. I understand having different promotions for different areas, but this feels like a silly, unnecessarily rigid policy, especially when the distinction isn't particularly clear. The $4 difference isn't the issue--it's the principle and how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, over this experience and the way it was handled, we will not be coming back. Losing regular customers who routinely spend $200+ over a $4 appetizer seems like a pretty poor business decision.

The first time I went to this place was a little before they closed, so some BBQ items were sold out. Which I was not upset about as the store was nearing its closing hours. My husband and I tried the roasted pork and it was so tasty. It was the perfect amount of seasoning without being overly salty. We got this to go and the skin was still crispy when we got home. We genuinely enjoyed it so much we decided to go back to try their BBQ pork the next day. We got the BBQ pork and the roasted pork to go. Both of course were amazing. We would like to try the duck next time we visit this place, which will be in the near future. This place does gives you a family feel to it. The workers were very nice and attentive. We did not have to wait long for our to go order. And even on a late night, their restaurant was packed with people, I can totally see why. This is our new go to BBQ place for sure!
