How nostalgic! This was my college go-to spot for me and my friends for Taiwanese food and it honestly still lives up to what I remember. Decently sized portions and delightfully flavored. Beef rolls were as good as I remembered--paired with chili oil is a must. Their mapo tofu is a good introduction to anyone who hasn't had it before. Delicate and flavorful--tons of meat! The salt and pepper chicken was my favorite of the night. The service is crazy fast and efficient. It was as friendly as any Asian-owned restaurant can ever be. I felt like we were checked on pretty often. I hope more folks will give this place more love. I remember when this place was packed to the brim but their service/food still makes this for a wonderful dinner

Black bean chicken with egg roll. Very tasty.

The thing that keeps us coming back to the rice bowl is not only the quality of food but it's the quantity. Even the lunch special which I had today, the black bean chicken, is enough food to either share or take home to enjoy as another meal. With the lunch special you also get a fried egg roll and a soup of your choice. My only slight disappointment today was at the egg roll. Seemed a little bit chewier rather than crispier which wasn't as appealing to the palate. The other minor issue was the egg drop soup wasn't its normal goodness. Tasted a little flat. Maybe a little bland even. But still, the deal that you get for the lunch special with the amount of food is hard to beat.

Delicious sesame chicken with great flavor, and the white rice was excellent. Highly recommend!

The chicken and broccoli was great! I'm impressed with the carrots and the scalloped edges. It was enough food for a few days to be honest.

Okay first of all, the beef rolls were so delightful! Hands down, would come back just to eat those again. The service was friendly and we were quick to get our food! The S&P tofu was more salty than peppery, but it had a good crisp to it which i appreciated

This place serves up some of the most amazing food. Family always is very friendly and welcoming. I've had takeout once a month from this place. And when family comes into town, I usually suggest this place.

This restaurant is located right next-door to St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop on Braker. I decided to grab a bite here for lunch while the wife checked out the thrift store. I decided to dine in and was directed to one of a dozen or so tables. The egg rolls and soup came out in minutes. I ordered the beef rolls which came highly recommended by some of my fellow yelpers. The beef rolls are considered to be an appetizer, but they are more like a full meal unless you split them between four people. The hot and sour soup was decent, but I've had better and the eggrolls were straight out of the fryer and piping hot. You can pretty much expect to pay $20 for lunch here without the tip. There's no tip screen waiting for you if you dine in, but that may not be the case for takeout. They got the formula right here. Fast, friendly service, good food at a good price and plenty of parking. They do not serve alcoholic beverages and there is no public bathroom (unless you dine in). Keep in mind, they are closed on Mondays. Definitely a place I would visit again or get takeout.

Starter off with the pancakes and chili vegan. Both so very tasty and fresh n hot! The chili sauce packed a punch but not overwhelming. You would not even know they were vegan at all. Let's talk about this beautiful egg! No idea how it's made but it has the most unique flavor. Normally I can pick out an herb or flavor, nope not at all. Has the most distinctive taste and so very pretty too when it arrives! All of our mains were so delicious! I had the dumplings myself but did try a bit of everyone's meals and they were all perfectly flavored. If you are wanting to have everyone's Neal come at the same time, not here. You get your food pipping hot straight from the kitchen. Which was great. No heat lamps here. Service was great. We believe the owners came out and checked on us and of course we raved. It was packed for a rainy cold Saturday night but it was warm and kind inside. Parking is limited so be prepared to find street parking. Thanks Caroline for the recommendation!!!

Parking was limited behind the building and is shared with other businesses. This place was super cute! You can tell every decor detail was thoughtfully put together. The exterior building mural was amazing - Asian street scenes. Loved the cute Asian table cups, table decor, and the bathroom was another story lol, the toilet was a full on bidet. Toilet seat opened up automatically when I came up to it. And the paper towels were luxuriously thick and soft, not the cheap stuff. Our server was attentive, accommodating , and understanding. We told her of our special needs and she answered our questions. We all ordered from their lunch menu- which included choice of soup and steamed rice. I ordered the crispy shrimp with jalapeños. Perfect! Extra large plumpy shrimp with bits of sliced jalapeños and cooked veggies. Definitely not spicy or saucy. I enjoyed my choice of soup- egg drop, comfort soup for the soul. Our table shared an order of soup dumplings and shu mai. The soup dumplings were fabulous- an explosion of soup in each delicately wrapped package. Everyone at our table enjoyed their dishes! Overall, excellent food and service with cute decor!
