I ordered the spicy beef soup... that was awesome I had them tone it down to medium spicy and I will be going back for more!! I also ordered the lamb (5) skewers which was tasty!! My friend ordered the grilled chives and I tasted them... they are excellent!!! Our server was Jasmine and she was just so helpful and efficient. I sat in a booth next to a window... it's a cute small place but worth the time to eat some very tasty food!!!

Stupidly underrated place!!!!! Went here last night with a friend and the food was delicious. We ordered so many skewers and each one was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Strongly recommend getting their Giant King Squid skewer if you have the chance. They also have a nice selection of Asian beers to enjoy with your skewers.

Surprised to hear loud cumbia music walking in. Most of the tables were covered in dirty dishes but at 4pm it must have been the lunch rush. The food was a big portion. The service was almost noticeable.

Went here on the 24th for skewers only. The taste, was so good. It was the taste of home. The chef for the skewers is actually from my home town and it has been years since I've been able to have skewers from there. China has lots of different styles of skewers and these in my opinion is one of the best styles. They use smaller skewers as you can see from the photos, the meat is cut up into much smaller bites and because of that, they are more flavorful and tender. When grilled over coal (which they do here, you can taste it) the charred flavor combined with the oil of the meat means each bite is filled with juice. The cauliflower is also a different breed compared what you get in supermarkets here. It feels more akin to broccoli in texture and feel while tasting of cauliflower, which is perfect since common cauliflower tends to flake too much. The service is meh (as in you not gonna get a waiter asking about your food every 5 mins) but the speed of food is fast. But lets face it, you don't come here for the service. The owners are friendly and you can chat with them a bit but don't be expecting the likes of a 5 star restaurant with someone waiting on you. This isn't that kind of place. And because of that, the feel of the restaurant is more casual and family style. You have simple décor and tables. There are some booth with hard wood style seats. You come here with people you like for a good time, not for business meetings or other things. Come at night for the skewers really is key. Having a beer or tea while munching on them is such a wonderful thing to do both in winter or summer. Only thing I wish, is if their prices could be a bit cheaper. They use good metal skewers and good skewer styles. But if the prices are a bit lower, then I would go every week then.

Grill Squid, pork belly mushroom(must try!), and chicken.

The place reminded me of Ling Wu in the Grove area because the decor looked similar. Maybe they are owned by the same people? Firstly, I was impressed with the fact they had a FREE parking garage nearby since this is in the downtown area and next to Whole Foods. It took me a bit to find it as I'm directionally challenged, but I did and was just running a bit late. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails. I got the Singaporean noodles, a mezcal drink, and a sake. The serving size was big so I had plenty to take home. We shared many of the other dumplings and dim sum items. Everything was very good! The place wasn't too crowded so after we paid our bill we sat around for a while longer to chat and catch up. Usually someone would come by to see if we needed or wanted anything further, but no one did so we kept chatting and left. I'm happy to know of a central location with easy parking as a future place to meet people. I wish they had a happy hour because the bill for 3 of us was unexpectedly higher than usual.

Shrimp and walnut prawn very delicious good size portion nice big shrimp and not gooey . Combination fried rice has plenty of meat. Great flavor and shockingly also has large shrimp. Mongolian beef because I thought I had to give it a try most Asian places I am very particular and don't like chewy meat. Very good not chewy! Bakmi Ayam noodles with chicken and mushroom very good. I like this more than I thought I would. I also appreciate that it had fresh greens on top. it's also served with some chicken broth. I did not use it yet, smells amazing though. When I walked in, I was greeted by two friendly young ladies. I placed my order and waited. I do not have a large waiting area. They also do not have a large dining room. I would love to come back and bring friends as it's a very cute place and the staff is very friendly. Small and casual decor would be a great place to come with friends. They do have some Asian beer in the back cooler. I can see from where I am standing. I apologize, not taking a photo of each dish however I didn't think about it until after I made my plate.
