To eat, I tried the fried shrimp taro cake, fried crab rangoon, pan fried pork dumplings and special lomein. The fried shrimp taro cake was the best thing I've tried that day. It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish. Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. EDIT: Earlier tonight I had given a poor review based on the assumption that I had received less of…read moremy leftovers boxed than expected. It turns out that while some of what I paid for was not fully boxed to go as requested, one of my items (combination fried rice,) merely looked too small in the to go container. I assumed that after seeing the other container which was clearly missing a fair of congee, that the fried rice was also missing food but this was not that the case after putting it in a plate. I am correcting my review so as to not overreact and unfairly disparage an otherwise wonderful expereince. To start they have a very big menu, with a lot of choices. The food we received was very good food with good portions. Good, relaxed family atmosphere. The servers were nice as well. I had a great time while I was there and the food was priced affordably. I got the Szechuan pork intestine with hot peppers, Pork and thousand year old egg congee, the combination fried rice, crab rangoons, and Hong Kong Wonton Soup while my colleague got Egg Foo Young for herself. Each item was delicious and I highly recommend. Personally I have a very high spice tolerance so maybe be careful with the Szechuan pork intestines if you do not. I thought it was amazing, personally. This was also my first time having congee and the server chopped up the egg into pieces when she served it which was considerate of her. The pork was in small bits scattered throughout the congee and the flavor was wonderful, a very comforting dish. Got the HK Wonton soup based on recommendations from reviews online and it did not disappoint. The wontons are shrimp/pork I believe, and they were seasoned exquisitely which paired nicely with the subtle broth and the vegetables (I think baby bok choy and green onions). Crab rangoon did not disappoint either and was a great value for the quality and portion. Not to mention the great sauces they gave on the side (hot mustard, orange sauce, chili oil, andred sauce (for the rangoon)) as well as the hot tea they left in a kettle on the table (tasted like oolong but not sure). The tea in particular always welcome on my table to help digest such a feast. I really would like to give this place 5 stars. However, seeing as I did order a lot of food, when it came time to pay the check I asked for to-go containers. They asked to do it themselves to which I agreed. Unfortunately in this process, a fair amount of the congee, which I loved and wanted to eat later, was not packed. If they had run out of larger soup containers since it was the end of the evening I can understand that, but only giving me a small container that wasn't even filled is really regrettable. At least give me two of the smaller containers if that is the case, I know how much congee was left before handing it to be boxed and what I got was not even close. Realistically I can only mark down a maximum of 1.5 stars off from that but I am rounding up for conventional purposes because other from that misstep it was really a magnificent experience. I do recommend and I would return.

I love the roast duck and the bar-b-cue ribs... I usually get 1/2 & 1/2 with a side of rice. I walk across the street to the Beijing Supermarket and pick up some baby bok chop and go home. Kelly knows to put me some "real" Chinese hot mustard (not those packets). The last few times, I asked for wonton soup. Let me tell you, they have the best broth and absolutely, the best dumplings... I am not feeling well and was trying to figure out what could I possibly eat that stay down (common cold). I ordered a LARGE wonton soup. The lady than answered was not Kelly: $7.00; i could not believe it. I asked was she sure that was large, "Yes, a quart!" Let me tell you. it was full of dumplings, 8 to be exact. I was not sure that was enough, I ordered 2 more for a mere $1. something. I have been drinking my soup two meals now. It has stayed down and not annoyed my stomach and is just a great dish. I added a tiny bit of soy sauce; I elminated anything hot, which is what I normally do. I cannot recommend King's Palace. I have not dined in the restaurant since early this year; yesterday it was absolutely packed. I just called Kelly to get her name, she was so polite and told me "i'm really busy, is there something I can get you?" Yesterday, I have never seen a woman; the entire team move so fast serving as fast as they possibly could. Enjoy the Duck, the ribs or the soup. They are all on my Scrumpterou list!

Still sampling the many highly rated Chinese restaurants in my neighborhood. Tonight it was takeout…read morefrom Har Sing. A rather simple order for three people of three dishes. My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again. Although I might just order some honey chicken and skip the rest.

Delivery sizes from smallest to biggest: pint, quart, and jumbo.

Fried rice is unanimous with the thought of Chinese food, this one is not disappointing in any way. Delicious.

Absolutely loved Tanka! The food was really good and tasted like authentic Asian cuisine. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared without being overly expensive. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this place--quiet, low-key, and romantic, which makes it perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner. The location is beautiful too, with a nice view outside. It also doesn't have that overly touristy feel, which I really appreciated. When are the best Asian restaurants in Miami Beach?…read more I've been eating there for the last 10 years..

This place is a disaster. It was my worst dining experience of 2026. Let me tell you why…read more The food was honestly below what I was expecting which made what happened with the billing a very sour bite. I had an absolutely unacceptable billing experience from this restaurant that presents itself as luxurious. I dined at Hakkasan Miami Beach a few months ago with three friends. Our $805.72 bill was divided into four equal portions of $201.43. I authorized my $201.43 share. Hakkasan then processed my credit card for $201.43 TWICE. What followed was far worse than the original billing mistake. Rather than simply acknowledge that something had gone wrong and return my $201.43, Hakkasan fought my credit-card dispute and submitted doctored documentation to support keeping both charges. I spent months disputing this with Citibank, ultimately escalating the matter to Citi's Executive Response Unit and filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. And here's what I find extraordinary: Hakkasan's own reconstructed check shows four separate $201.43 payments totaling exactly $805.72. It identifies payments from two of my friends. It identifies one $201.43 payment from me. And then it shows my card a second time for another $201.43, without identifying a fourth cardholder. There were four diners. Hakkasan's records identify three of us. My card appears twice. Yet Hakkasan maintained that both charges were valid, and after nearly four months of fighting this, Citi ultimately sided with the restaurant. So I am now out an additional $201.43 because of a second charge their server (who appeared to be drugs that night) maintains I authorized. A billing mistake can happen anywhere. What defines a business is what it does after the mistake is brought to its attention. For a restaurant of Hakkasan's reputation and price point, I find this appalling. I would have expected meticulous accounting, serious customer service, and an immediate effort to determine why one guest's card appeared twice on a four-way split. Instead, I spent months fighting to recover $201.43 while the restaurant defended the second charge. I have dined at high-end restaurants around the world, and I cannot remember another experience that left me feeling this profoundly distrustful of a restaurant's handling of my credit card. Check your receipts when you go to Hakkasan. They cannot be trusted. Check your credit-card statement afterward. And keep all documentation. They doctor things afterward to fit their version of the story. I will not return to Hakkasan under any circumstances. If I could rate them as a -1, I would.
