Absolutely amazing breakfast place. My only complaint is that the next table was seated before the recommended 3 minute dry time for the disinfectant was over. It was wiped and a new table was seated immediately. The disinfection process happens during this drying time. Hubby had "the tank". He said was excellent. We shared the lemon ricotta pancakes. Asked for a "short stack" and it was GIGANTIC! I had the smokey which was so so good and savory. Restaurant was busy and lively. Will definitely be back to try more. read more

This place was great. Went there for Halloween brunch and the staff was dressed up as characters from the Wizard of Oz. Our server was so nice to give our 5 yr old a bag of candy for trick or treating becauseof her princess costume. This helped us out because of covid. Will be coming back! read more

Based on the amount of ppl that can be seen waiting outside for a table was enough to suggest be prepared for a good, decent meal of your choice. Specifically serving breakfast and brunch only, there is still enough menu items to select from. Went with three of my siblings, for the first time for me and two out of the three. The expectations definitely exceeded what we were expecting. Portions are pretty decent size, presentations are very appealing, service is consistent, staff very friendly and helpful and the inside is comfortable and clean. Wish I would've went for my first instinct to try the French toast. I believe one specific one was stuffed with cream in challah bread with raspberries on top but I settled for more lunch with a Reuben which was pretty good too. Toasted rye to a perfect crisp, delicious corn beef cooked right, and delicious Russian sauce. Seeing other plates close to me and near made me think I see why I was so indecisive. My boyfriend and I been trying to find new places to try in the delco area and I think I've found a new breakfast spot. We walked in at around 9 on a Thursday morning and were seated immediately. For drinks, we got the la colombe chilled draft latte vanilla ($4) which I believe was just the canned la colombe, and their hot chocolate ($3). The hot chocolate was the perfect balance of sweet and loved the chocolate syrup, cinnamon, whipped cream topping! I would definitely order it again. They do not offer plastic straws, but instead 100% compostable, biodegradable plastic less straws! My boyfriend and I both ordered 'The Tank' with scrambled eggs. The food was brought out about 10 minutes after we ordered and super delicious. Mine personally had a little too much of the sausage and peppers, so it was hard to eat everything in proper proportions. The potatoes were my favorite part of the skillet, crispy and well seasoned, while soft and fluffy in the center.The portions were decently sized and I could only finish half of it. That being said, I think next time we'll try to order two different things and splitting them. Can't wait to come back to explore the rest of the menu! Came here for brunch with a friend. This restaurant is relatively new and located in Pilgrim gardens shopping center. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and have a lot of unique menu items. I ordered the French dip sandwich which I believe was a special. It was really good and the portion was big enough for leftovers. The fries that came with it were great too. My friend had the tiramisu waffle which she also really enjoyed and looked more like a dessert. Pricing wasn't cheap but about what you would expect at a nicer breakfast place like this. Service was a bit slow, I didn't mind because I was with a friend but If I had somewhere to be I probably would have noticed it more. read more

Have heard great things about this place and had to give it a try. Took my uncle for his birthday meal at his request since he loves his breakfast foods. The place is located in the Pilgrim Gardens Shopping Center and has ample parking. I ordered the Tank which is 3 eggs, potato hash, peppers, onions, sausage, bacon and cheddar cheese all cooked together and served in a small cast iron skillet. This was delicious! I have no idea what type of sausage they use but it wasn't the usual breakfast links and it was sooo good. My sister and uncle loved their meals as well. It's nice that a more local place is trying to make it in this pandemic. When I saw them open and just happened to be around, and not a line, I'm like why not. All the mainstream places I got turned off because there was always a line whether it was a weekday night or a weekend. The lines were so long that it was probably cheaper, less time, and easier for me to buy food from the grocery store and make it myself. I didn't want to wait in a long line for something that "I have had enough times before." I work weekdays still for now (thankfully), but except for lunch hours, I can't really check to see what is still open and what isn't. They unfortunately didn't have their green drink, but quality iced coffee, standard, but straight up quality mac and cheese, and I haven't had the Ollie yet. People are really nice. I'm not sure if one could order online or through the cell- probably- but it didn't occur to me. I know my job is strict about my 1 hr lunch break- and I was out for a postage run. The employees were nice enough to work with me in noticing my attempts at social distancing, and having to sign with my finger as my pen and gloves didn't push on the screen well. Bring a cell stylus with you if you have one. I used to have two cell styluses and lost them both and I just found my third and last one. Fingers crossed! I forgot to check for my iced coffee at the end and a different worker made sure that I got it as they also forgot to give it to me with my take out meal. The crab cake sammie (crabbi patti) had delicious flavors especially with the remoulade sauce and the accompanying fries were hot and crispy. My lunch mate had the piggy, and with one bite her eyes lit up with delight. Since you will be stuffed, would highly recommend taking a wonderful dessert to go. The blueberry crumb cake is OMG good. The cake portion is dense as it should be in a crumb cake but the layer of blueberries add so much yummy goodness that it adds so much flavor and moistness in each and every bite. It's a huge piece of heaven and may take me a few days to finish it, and I won't complain a bit about that. Do yourself a favor and visit this great Delco eatery. T&L is situated in a peculiar shopping center known as Pilgrim's Garden. Oddly the parking in front is metered although it doesn't appear to be a particularly busy shopping center. Warm, inviting interior with a bit of a nautical theme and a terrific brunch menu. We appreciated the selection of sweet and savory dishes and my daughter chose one of their pancake specials, while I selected the breakfast tacos. The portions here ARE huge. We ended up taking quite a bit home. My only complaint was the price: $40 for breakfast for two? It's not like I'm dining at the Silverspoon in Wayne. Frankly, this area and the food doesn't warrant a $40 breakfast. I was willing to give them another go, though, so we headed back for my daughter's birthday breakfast. She ordered the banana cream pie waffle and I ordered the frittata. Honestly, the banana creme tasted like it came from a can, and the waffle was caky and underdone. I had specified cheddar for my frittata and received American cheese. I hate waxy American cheese but didn't want to delay the meal further. Tank & Libby's is a terrific $25-30 breakfast. But if you're going to charge $40 (w/ tip) for breakfast for two, give me homemade bread, not store-bought. Give me cheddar, not American. And give me homemade jam, not cheap jelly in packets. Wonderful place for brunch or breakfast food. They get very busy very quickly but the food is well worth it. I got the breakfast tacos the first time, which was hearty and delicious. I got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict ("smoky bennie") the second time and that was delicious too. The salmon came over potato hash and was done just right. My other half got the banana foster hotcakes, which was enormous. I think the waitstaff gets slightly stressed, as I'm sure they do everywhere, but we happened to be sitting at the counter so we heard some the tension between them, which I might rather not have heard. If lunch is more your thing, try their soups. Their mushroom soup is a personal favorite, earthy and smooth and creamy. The French onion is a close second. The brunch burger is a perfect choice if you can't decide between breakfast and lunch. The fish tacos are delicious. My personal favorite is the Reuben. It's such a simple sandwich but they manage to make it unforgettable. Only negative is that it can get loud when it's crowded but that shouldn't be a deterrent. I can't speak to the food because I have not eaten there, nor will I. I made reservations on 11/21 for NYs day brunch for 10 people. I was told that separate totals for everyone would not be a problem and they were looking forward to having us. Fast forward to today (a month later) and I got a call that they are NOT giving us separate totals, we will get one bill and figure it out ourselves. Had I known this was the case, I would not have made the reservation in the first place. The coffee drinkers enjoyed their delicious La Colombe. The owner came out to personally check on us and our server was very nice and interacted with everyone at the table and made us feel at home. Starting off, the coffee is fresh, rich and hot, which is important when you drink it black. Totally over ordered (like I usually do when I try a place for the first time). I had "The Tank" which is a hash consisting of eggs, potato, tomatoes, peppers, onions, sausage, and bacon. All in a cast iron skillet.
