Service was INCREDIBLY SLOW. Genuinely though he forgot about our order and that we should just get up and leave to a different spot. The food was pretty good but we asked the serve for certain items and he didn't understand and lowkey messed up our orders. It's fine but would've been nice to have the correct stuff. I'd still recommend to go here for some good Indian food as there wasn't a ton of people and the area of it was pretty cute!

I ordered from Uber Eats so I never went to the location but I did ask for utensils and none was provided. Out of the other Indian food I have tried, this was alright. The soup I ordered was really great but the chicken tikka masala was alright and the amount of rice they had provided, let's say it is like someone ate half of it before giving it to me. The portion of the rice to the tikka was not 50/50. Unless they have good deals for Uber, I won't be back.

The food was good that I genuinely forgot to take a picture for Yelp. My girlfriend knows that I love Indian so she said we should check out Tandul. It was a VERY GOOD decision. I'm not sure if it's because we visited on a Wednesday night but it was pretty empty inside. The only people dining were us and another party but that worked for me. I had the Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan and it was AMAZING! It's very seldom that I go somewhere and eat everything on my plate but this was one of those places. My girlfriend had the Paneer Tikka Masala, which was also good but not as good as the Saag. The only thing I'd change is that I wish it was spicier. The staff were sweet and accommodating. I'll absolutely be back.

Dinner was fantastic, everyone agreed. Service was wonderful along with ambience. We will be eating from here again. Late hours are a plus too!

Placed a takeout order here recently, to give another area Indian restaurant a try. The inside looks cozy and inviting...will have to save that in-person visit for another time (which there will be!). Order was ready to go when I arrived, and when I got it home, all components were still warm and fresh. My wife and I ordered a variety of appetizers, naan and main dishes all to share. We stuck with a few of our "go to" items and ventured out for a new one as well. Our bounty consisted of vegetable samosas (served with the traditional tamarind chutney and cilantro chutney as well), garlic naan, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala and the kaju curry (made with a base of cashews). Everything was delicious, flavorful and not overly spiced making for fantastic bites. The dishes came with generous servings of jasmine rice...between that and the naan it was easy to sop of every glorious bit of the sauces in each presentation! As we were eating, my wife commented how the spice mix she'd been tasting reminded her of the food she was served in her trips to India...a high compliment as to the authenticity of the preparation of these dishes. We were fully satiated by this meal, with plenty of leftovers for two lunches the next day. Not sure how this spot has flown under our radar for so long, but we'll soon be adding them to our regular rotation of go-to spots for Indian in the city, Thanks for such a great meal!

Have never had a bad meal here always amazing. Service is so friendly. Even when they are busy service is good. Highly recommend Tandul in Tremont. The restaurant is small but cozy and never cramped.

We came on a Friday and it was pretty empty when we got there. It started to fill up the longer we were there. Staff was very friendly. We got a bottle of wine and samosas for appetizers. Wine was very reasonably priced and the samosas had good flavor. We got the Allepey Vegetables and Bhindi Masala - both were delectable. Only reason I'm not giving them a higher rating is because the bathrooms did not have any toilet paper and could have been cleaner. The restaurant could also just use a fresh coat of paint. Nothing to do with the food, as it was amazing! Space could just use some sprucing up.

Here is the receipt and it clearly shows lamb vidaloo.

My order was for lamb vindaloo, instead I got a chicken dish. The restaurant insists it sent lamb vindaloo and refuses to even acknowledge a mistake. Food is tasty, naan is good, rise is good, but chicken is not the same as lamb. food *** three stars, might have been five stars for lamb service * one star

Our first time here. Not Indian food experts, but we really enjoyed it. The lentil chips and chutney were a really nice surprise. The service was very good and I thought it was a very cozy place. Fantastic options for vegetarians, BTW. It was doing a very brisk take-out business. We will be back!

Great food great service but a little spicy so unless you can handle big spice, don't get more than three, but it's excellent

The setup has a wow factor as you enter the basement level of the building through a tunnel covered in plants and leading straight to your first photo opp! Beautiful decor that mixes a level of sophistication with a little drama as you see the bright lights. Plenty of seating and even a private room that can be rented out. The drinks are phenomenal and the staff is friendly! The menu offers a mix of unique cocktails (and can be made as mocktail a too) and small bites. Upon recommendation, I tried the F.W. Marg drink. So good! The most unique aspect is the watermelon ice cube. As it melts the drink flavor changes. Creative & fun way to enjoy a cocktail. Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.
