Seven Chefs Buffet is pretty decent. The food was prepared fresh and they had a nice selection within each station; Italian, Salad bar, Asian, American, Soups and Sweets! The lunch was pretty good. I tried the baked whitefish, tossed salad, stuffed shell, charbroiled burger and stir fry broccolini. Burgers freshly made in front of you. Shells had a good tomato sauce on them. They have a good variety but I was trying to go the healthy route today. They had mac n cheese, fried chicken, corn bread, Asian noodles, general Taos chicken, egg rolls, ice creams, cakes, cookies and a lot more! I have no complaints as their Wednesday lunch buffet is only $5.55 that includes a beverage! Service was streamlined and my server was very good at keeping refills up. Dining areas kept very clean too. PS. Thursday lunch is only $7.77!! Go early when they open 11:00am - line gets pretty long as the day progresses.

Who doesn't love a buffet! They have a great variety of item to choose from. I even got to try a couple things new. They have soup, salad, desserts, and cultural foods. I did not leave hungry. This is located in the Jacks Casino so no underage people are allowed.

The place was almost full after only being open a half hour. We ate free as perk of the casino. We were sitted just with a few minute wait.Had to ask the hostess to wipe down the table , could clearly see sticky spots on table. The booth table has a design flaw, if you aren't paying attention to your purse like my mom was it could been easily stolen big opening between us and traffic outside in the corridor. She kept it on a corner of table. The decor is dark and certainly dated. The food was adequate and I added pics with captions. Once again lucky we didn't have to pay for this.

Dare I say this is possibly the worst buffet I've ever been to? It's definitely the worst casino buffet I've been to and I've been to shameful places (that I'm embarrassed to say that I've dined at) with awful food in the past. On our short stay in Cleveland, my wife and I visited JACK Cleveland Casino for a little gambling time after hours and decided to dine at the buffet, in the lobby, for convenience purposes. Actually, we cancelled our reservation at James Beard award winning Greenhouse Tavern to dine here and let me just say that might have been the worst decision of my life. I've made terrible life decisions in all of the years I've been alive, but that might top them all. My mind was telling me to not eat here after reading the atrocious reviews, but my gut was telling me how bad can it be? Oh, it can be bad ... real bad. First, the pricing. We came here on a Friday evening and it was approximately $25 per person because of the $5 increase for the specialty Friday and Saturday dinner menus. I'm afraid to know what's on the non-specialty menus. The buffet was actually pretty spacious, but about only 1/3 full. There were different ethnic sections of food lined up one after the other. To be honest, I don't think I need to go into the details of each and every thing I tried because they all fell into the same categories --- (1) Did not look delicious and (2) Downright tasted awful. Things were either bland or super salty. Worse off, we overheard a customer asking the head chef if anything had MSG, to which he replied that they cook EVERYTHING with MSG! Seriously? Just a recipe for clogged arteries. All of the food laid out just looked mediocre. In addition, the food was a mess at times. When food was close to running out or ran out, it was not refilled in a timely manner. Patrons left community scooping spoons in the food and employees did not bother to monitor the stations. Some foods were falling apart or looked like they had been sitting out in the open for so long that they were self-destructing. We were just glad we escaped with no further harm and our stomachs intact, but I can't imagine what the sanitary practices are like here, if there are any. The buffet really needs some oversight because the employees clearly aren't doing their jobs. On table after table, we saw dirty plates left there for long periods of time after customers had already finished their meals. Just overall, this buffet was terrible. There are no other words for it. I'm really trying to be "nice", but the food, the service and everything about this restaurant needs to be shutdown and made over pronto.

Roasted Chicken--TERRIBLE presentation and pretty dry
    Jessy L.

Save yourself and do not spend your money here. The selection of foods is small, and the flavour is mediocre. Most of their meats are drier than the Sahara desert, and it's either extremely salty or extremely unseasoned--there's no in between. If you really want to come and try this buffet, at least make it a dinner on a Wednesday so that all you'll pay is $7.77 for their "Jackpot Dinner" special. I came here for lunch and couldn't even stomach more than a plate of food. The salad was probably the best thing I ate because salads don't require any cooking. The staff are nice and courteous, but the food is just not acceptable at all. You'll notice that most of the dishes are off coloured mush because it was so overcooked that any natural colour or texture just doesn't exist any more. I'm convinced that this place is still in business simply because it's part of the casino so it's convenient to eat at without having to leave the building.

Used dishes were never collected. Server did not stop at all to check on us or refill our drinks.

We ordered the rare beef noodle soup, a dish with spicy fish, and a clay pot brisket dish. Rare beef noodle soup: (3/5) This dish came with sliced rare beef, onions, bean sprouts, noodles, veggies, and a few other things. The soup was kind of bland and the beef portions were kind of small. The noodles were also average. Spicy fish dish: (5/5) It was indeed spicy and the fish and vegetables were delicious. The fish was tender and had a nice texture unlike some other restaurants that just heat things up in a bag. Brisket clay pot: (5/5) The brisket was super tender and tasty. The vegetables and radish that came with it also had a nice flavor. I know few restaurants that can make this dish as good as this one. Service: (4/5) Our server came to refill water frequently and checked in on us. Ambiance: (3/5) It was nice and quiet since we came close to closing time. One of the employees was eating in the back. The interior was clean though the bathrooms were kind of wet and they had no paper towels and had a moldy hand dryer. Just so you know, they don't have hot tea for free.

One dish I'd say for sure is the Mongolian beef! The meat was so tender, so unreal! Finally the atmosphere, as you look around, it's truly a melting pot of cultures. I had heard of Ice or Rice via social media before but my first visit wasn't until March 2026 when…read moreI was in the area anyway. Ice or Rice is located in Cleveland's Asiatown, surrounded by many other Asian restaurants, and has a non-descript exterior and a basic AF interior. There is also only street parking so be aware of that. I was the only customer at 1pm on a Sunday. It only took about 8 minutes for my order to be ready and packaged to go. I was going to order a poke bowl but decided against it when I saw how few ingredients there were. No edamame? Heresy! So at the last minute, I changed my plans and ordered the Thai Dog ($7) and a Spam Musubi ($4.50) and took them home with me to eat for lunch/dinner. The Thai Dog was a generously sized hot dog on a white bun with some pickled vegetables, smothered in 3 different sauces (although I did ask for light sauce). I thought it was delicious, if about $2 overpriced. I ate the Spam Musubi piece for dinner and although also very yummy (I forgot how much I enjoy the smokiness of spam!), this was definitely overpriced at $4.50. I have seen spam musubi usually cost about $3. I won't harp on too much about the price though. Haha! There are lots of other restaurants in the area but Ice or Rice is centrally located and is great for grab and go meals. I LOVE all the Hawaiian dishes on there as well! I think I would come back to try another unique item if I am in the area in the future.

We got 3 items to share: coffee jelly, Japanese flan, and... At first we tried to order their mango shaved ice. The owner said that she can make it for us, but suggested that since mangoes are not in season, they don't taste the greatest right now, so she suggested strawberries. Makes sense, so we went with it. The coffee jelly was strong and creamy. It was good. The flan was also very good. Being Filipino, I'm used to a richer and silkier flan. This Japanese version was lighter, but still pretty silky. The strawberry shaved ice is huge! Good for sharing. Their shaved ice is such a fine and perfect texture that I've never had anywhere else. Usually, shaved ice I've had in the past is at least partially crunchy. Their shaved ice here is very fine - like freshly fallen, powdery snow. Great stuff! Will be back!

When I opened the menu, I was sad to see the galbi lunch box - my former go-to - was no longer an option. So I had to settle for one of the other lunch boxes - spicy pork bulgogi. Though the spicy pork bulgogi wasn't as delicious as the galbi (I LOVE Ha Ahn's galbi), it was still a delight to my taste-buds. Regular bulgogi can sometimes be a little too sweet for me, but the spice offered a nice contrast and balance to the sweetness of the meat, which was tender and juicy. In addition to a sizeable portion of pork, my lunch box came with a salad, a crispy mandu, kimchi, seaweed salad, and a scoop of steamed white rice. It was more than enough food to leave me satisfied, especially when combined with the fresh banchan, which included some greens, more kimchi, some sort of steamed egg dish, spicy daikon, and sliced fish cakes. Along with great food, the restaurant provided great service. Our server kept the refills of hot tea (complimentary!) coming. But please bring back the galbi lunch box!!

We were really looking forward to a Cambodian restaurant and saw that they had one in Cleveland. It's a beautiful restaurant in a busy street. Like I mentioned before, staff was really nice. Actually, it was 1 male server that was doing everything from hosting, taking orders, serving, and everything else while juggling different customers. Surprisingly, service was very quick. It went down from there. None of the dishes were authentic. They said that they had to accommodate the clientale around there and therefore, it's more americanized. If we had wanted authentic dishes, we would have to call in advance to place that order so that they can pull things from the freezer and prepare it. Why would we do that? It was our first time there. We thought it'll be just like every other restaurant. You go in, order what's on the menu, and expect that to come out. Not ask for fried fish and they tell you that it's still in the freezer. Or, ask for Amok and they said that they only make 10 (or was it 20?) per day, but someone had called in advance the day before to order them all. Even their Somlor Machu Kreung only had celeries as their vegetables because they said thrakhoun would just spoil. At least add some jalapenos, green papaya, tomatoes, etc to it. In addition, all the food proportions were so small. It's definitely not family-style dishes. Oh yes, I do not understand why their basil chicken fried rice was red and looking like tomato paste. Perhaps it's a Cleveland thing? I'm from the South and we do not make our basil fried rice like that. Flavors were okay for some dishes and other dishes were just plain. I was embarassed to even bring my family here. We will not be coming here again.

First of all, the place is beautiful. You will want to stand and stare a minute when you first arrive, from the cherry blossoms overhead to the gorgeous art painted on the walls. We were welcomed immediately and seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and efficient, again this was no small task with a bit group at a very busy time. She made great recommendations and we started with several appetizers for the table: Crab rangoon Mozzarella stick, Goyza, and crunchy rice with avocado. They were all good and cooked to perfection, but the Crab Rangoon Mozzarella sticks were show stoppers. This is fun fusion at its finest, and everyone agreed we could have just lived on those. We had to put in sushi orders early as there was a bit of a backup with the kitchen, but our server did a great job of keeping us informed about the timing and made all the entrees work out so people getting hot dishes got them at the same time as people who ordered cold dishes. I had the sora roll which is another great fashion dish with a simple tempura shrimp and avocado roll upscaled by adding thin slices of wagyu beef, spicy mayo and dark sweet soy. I loved the combo. My wife had the peking duck and said it was fantastic with a good bit of flavor and a hint of kick, cooked to perfection so it didn't get dry. My son had the mushroom risotto which he said was very flavorful, and carried a bit of asian spiciness. Other people at the table had sushi, the katsu chicken, and the crab fried rice. No one was disappointed! Finally my wife and I split the smoked creme brûlée and all I can say is, you should save room for dessert because this was a fantastic spin on a classic! The only thing I would note is that it's not a quiet restaurant. Do not expect to have a hushed or private conversation here, but even with the big group I could still hear everyone, so it's not like it's ear splitting or anything. Honestly, every part of this experience impressed me and I would love to go back next time I'm in town.
