Noodles, rice, veggie rolls

Good food, reasonable prices. Best items: noodles, rice and definitely the fried donuts. Not so hot: Veggie rolls were mushy, and cookies were bland. Conclusion: Would recommend, just choose wisely!

Food is too dried out and cold. Service is good. Not too happy with the food. Sea food have no taste. Taste like water.

They don't know what to serve you. They don't know that you want chopsticks. They don't know that you need a plate. They don't know that you need soy sauce with a really bad negative experience and unfortunately, I will never come back to this restaurant again! Not even for sushi what a waste I usually have sushi and tip 25% and the hibachi chef was soliciting tips like a I'm in red light district - then the server didn't know how to be a server and the soup was cold - miserable-also we were forced to sit with this couple that was not friendly looking and had really bad vibes and it looked like they were regulars so all the questions they looked annoyed by and also they cooked the seafood on the same area as the steak so my wife being a non red meat eater -that was troublesome as well, honestly, if the host a set the proper expectation about the hibachi side and they actually cared about food safety and they were actually kind of friendly with good service and hot soup then maybe this would've been a better experience, but since they fell short on multiple situations that are restaurant should be able to execute on. This is why they get one star yeek me thinks snot.

My wife and I have driven past this restaurant several times and wondered about it, but it took us…read moreabout a year to finally try it out for date night. Last second and we didn't have any reservations. Luckily the high top tables and bar area had openings for walk in's. We both really enjoy good sushi and have tried a lot of places, so we weren't sure what quality we were going to get. Quick, nice, and attentive service from the waiter. He made me a custom drink based on what I like and my wife ordered off the menu. Both drinks were excellent and the drink menu had a lot of options I'd want to try in the future. For appetizers, we had the vegetable egg rolls and a beef plate. Both were great! We ordered 5 speciality sushi rolls. As you can see from the picture, we couldn't wait to take a picture first and dug in right away. Every roll had a really good range of flavors and taste. Fresh. Well made. With a wide variety on the menu. If you like sushi, it's very likely you'll enjoy this place. Highly recommended!

It was packed at the hibachi tables so the manager John brought us to an amazing booth where he attended to absolutely every whim, need and request. He went above and beyond in every aspect. I've never had a bad Shintos dish, but John made every dish special. He even got me a dish that wasn't on the menu anymore. Reinvented my martini over and over until it was just right. Because of John and the entire experience Shintos isn't an option to return to; it is a must!

Our party of 6 came here after an exciting VR session at Sandbox in Crocker Park. We walked here in…read moresubzero temps but it was very doable still. Everyone loved it here! We were the only ones there and service was very attentive and friendly. In fact, our server came multiple times to see if we needed a water refill even when we didn't. I do appreciate the solicitousness! Most of us tried the hot broth rice noodles (Crossing Bridge Noodles--guo qiao mi xian) and the ingredients they provide exceed the YYTime/Dagu Rice noodle amount! There is a meat paste that is so good and 1 shrimp! Alas, my BF is allergic so we had to give his away. In their menu somewhere, it would be helpful to list out each ingredient; shrimp is not typical but a nice surprise (to some people). I ordered the dry rice noodle with beef. Spice level was good and each table comes with house made hot chili oil as well. I thought the broth flavor, richness and texture of the noodles were all better than YYTime! No complaints! The presentation of each dish was very appetizing and the portions are reasonable. The prices of dishes were surprisingly lower than YYTime and other similar places! Their drinks were higher priced (starts at $6 and doesn't come with any toppings, not even boba). I wish the server would've prompted me with sugar and ice levels. In my excitement to order, I forgot about my 50% less sugar and no ice preference! We customized with a creme brulee topping ($1.25 extra) with coconut milk drink. Delish! It was one of the only non-caffeinated options.

I had the original broth (pork & chicken) with brisket. The broth was delicious but the brisket was very fatty but not the melt in your mouth fat, the kind you can't chew, which was off-putting to me. My partner had the spicy broth with the rolled beef and he loved it. We had the spring rolls which were awesome! Very attentive service & overall perfect for a cold winter day. I may not be adventurous enough but they had tripe, quail eggs and a few other more out of the box items.
