Tried this place for the 1st time. Well the service was very kind and efficient the ambiance of the place is pretty nice. The food well it was just okay. The sushi which I thought was going to ve the star wasn't. They do have peel and eat shrimp and some great fried donuts. I was a little concerned because their floors by the buffet are slippery. They had signs saying they mopped but even where they didnt my shoes were slipping. I was super afraid of falling. Overall the people working are kind. It was clean. The servers were attentive and very friendly. The food was pretty good for a buffet style restaurant. I prefer spicy dishes. Lots of varieties. Unlike other buffet restaurants, there was plenty of meat available. You didn't have to go digging through the vegetables to find chicken or steak. This was our first visit on a weekend with dinner pricing and menu. Dinner is served 3 pm Friday thru Sunday evening. The price is $16.99 per adult or $36.19 with tax before tip for 2. There is significantly more seafood to dinner more shrimp than chicken, this would be a great choice for Lent. We really enjoyed the frog legs (yes they taste like chicken, were moist and well seasoned. They had clams, crayfish, mussels, salmon, flounder, stuffed clams, like i said at lrast 8 shrimp dishes, mongolian grill, sushi, fresh fried donuts like andagi or a malasada, nice selection of fresh fruit (8 to 10 different items, salad bar, dessert bar and 4 types of ice cream cups. I particularly enjoyed the cheesecake fluff was lighter than pudding with graham cracker topping. We had our share of clams, mussels, shrimp and steamed fish. Servers are attentive and place is clean, there is a party room too. We will surely return as we enjoy the variety. Do not waste your money! We used to l love this place. They did away with crab legs and still charge $16.99. The food was old and gross, server never came around for drinks. 4 adults with one trip (because it was so bad) $73. let the person at the front know how bad it was and she just kept saying thank you with a smile. 5 months later & I'm back. I tried the Hibachi this time. Very good! Chix & veggies with Mongolian sauce it the spot in taste. Sushi is good (almost all cooked sushi) The buffet selections I had were all good. They had deep fried the pot stickers which I don't like, but other than that all was good. Fast plate removal & drink refills. Restroom in decent shape. Dinner was $18.99 with my iced tea. The only narly thing was a fellow customer licked her fingers while at the buffet & continued getting food . Why, why do people do this disgusting thing ! ! ! I saw this happen at Golden Corral too. I used hand sanitizer after every trip back up to the buffet. I be back before the end of the year(with my own hand sanitizer)(which they have there) The coconut shrimp was quite good. Very very disappointed with this place gave him another shot and our family was there so we're on two separate checks. We decided to sit next to our family and then they proceeded to charge us a 10% mandatory gratuity on my check as well as my family members checks. We were not together. There's a sign thing. Party is over eight. There's a mandatory gratuity, but we were a party of five. Again on a separate check not together with our other family that was there and the guy basically said to me oh well cause you're sitting together the charge applies.. which is not what the sign says.. and so combined with my other family members they scammed a $27 combined tip from us.. which is ridiculous since service only consisted of them only refilling 2 drinks.. read more

I feel there was false advertisement for Thanksgiving. They only showed Turkey, not Thanksgiving dinner, so only extra of yams and cranberry is ok. potatoes would have been nice. Butttt! We got there at 5:30 and good thing the kids got turkey right away, that last carcass was picked over and was the last. The main thing advertised was gone by 6 pm. So many around us complaining too. Food is lowkey not that good and a lot of stuff just tasted like nothing with different textures. I think the best tasting food there is the canned fruit but overall price is good for what you get and i like the atmosphere. The workers were really nice. read more

A welcome, new incarnation of the former New Chinatown Buffet. They made some nice positive changes to the interior and the food is a whole lot better. Much of it is standard Chinese buffet fare with a lot of old standbys, however, there are a number of standouts. The Thai chicken, Japanese chicken, crab wontons , and what appeared to be Korean style ribs are all extremely tasty. The best sushi I've ever had at a buffet. Everything is hot, fresh, well prepared and a notch above other buffets in the area. I've been here about 6 times now and haven't been disappointed in anything that I've tried. I was there today for lunch with a friend. There may have been 20 or so people in the place. They've done some painting and made access into the place easier by getting rid of that bridge that went over the fish pond at the entrance. If your expecting to be blown off your feet by a new restaurant and food, don't be. The food is no different than before. It does appear that there is more of a dessert offering, but the soft serve ice cream is gone. There also seems that there is more "american" food. Perogi, french fries, pizza...etc.​. They have removed the stand alone dssert table and placed it in one of the original hot serve islands, so overall there is less of a hot food offering. It won't be a priority to go back. read more

Since it's opened as Royal Buffet, it's one of the better regional options for an Asian buffet. I am not a fish/seafood fan, and I take my family there. The variety is good, and I have no trouble finding things I like. Pricing is OK... there's lower priced buffets out there, but for as good as it is, the price is competitive. The staff was nice.
