Tammys Nail Salon is awesome! I went in a couple months ago & was seated with Danny. I didn't know exactly what I wanted but Danny had great ideas, knew what he was talking about & explained it to me which I truly appreciated. My nail beds are very sensitive & I have tiny little fingers & he was very cautious & careful when using the nail file/drill. I've been making nail appts with him since! Everyone else that works in there are so funny & nice & work so very hard!! Kudos to the really young boy who works there too, he works so hard & tries to keep everything clean & in order. read more

Tammy Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Chico, California

I have been almost everywhere in Chico for pedicures and I really liked the service I got at Tammy Nails. I think they could use an update when it comes to their pedicure spa chairs and that's the only reason I did not give the place 5 stars. I loved the girl who did my pedicure. She was friendly, gave me a fantastic pedicure, spoke English very well and had a great sense of humor. What a doll. Her name was Lisa. She really took her time to get all of the dead skin off of my feet that I didn't even know was there. My feet are softer than they have been in years. Excellent job :) read more

Love this place!!! Always so friendly and funny and make you feel welcomed and not rushed :) great color options for gels too!!

You get what you pay for $35 for coffins and a diamond on each hand. They're nice. However I've gone twice and both times within 3 days my thumb nail had broken, polish chips off easily (I get gel). I like the vibe but I'll probably go to Lilly's. My nails last way longer, they take their time, and my cuticles get cut, I'll pay the extra ten. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would . I'd been a faithful customer through high school until I went somewhere else way more professional . The shop is not clean , only two people can actually do nails here , and I've never once been 90- 100% happy with my nails . They half a$$ everything . Don't waste your money ! read more

today was another bad experience they do not take their time they rush at least two-four !! people work on ur nails how the heck are you supposed to do a good job !!! they soaked my last set of nails until my skin was peeling !! and don't get me started on the fact that they don't do the length you ask they stick to whatever they are comfortable with !! trash experience after the next they are obviously not passionate and get upset when you point something out that you don't like ... TRASH read more

Been coming to this place a while now (4+ years); I am pleased every time I go. They give a great pedicure for pretty low price ($23) that includes a lot more than your average basic pedicure. Ladies (and guys) are nice and will chat with you if you seem in the mood or leave you alone if you seem preoccupied or are chatting with a friend or if you just want to relax. read more

I wanted to love Tammy nails. I've actually been a client there for over a year... I've always gotten nice manicures .... until this last time! I found out they use MMA acrylic!!!! Do not get powder dip or acrylics here! They use horrible chemical acrylic! Powder dip is supposed to be "a healthier option" to regular acrylics or gel.. but NOT when they use methyl methacrylate!!!!!! This stuff was banned in the 80's but is super cheap so some salons try to get away with it still!!!!! So sad they use it but want to warn others!!!! The people there are nice, but unfortunately they use outdated and dangerous supplies. read more

I don't normally go here but I did because I was in that side of town. They did a pretty good job on my nails but I couldn't help but notice how dirty their salon was. It needed a serious deep cleaning and the equipment they used looked like it wasn't cleaned from the last person. Giving them 4 stars for friendliness and a good job but the lack of cleanliness brought my rating down :/ read more

I've been going here for pedis for about 5 years. They do a good job, and the people are all very nice and friendly. The polish always lasts and never chips. $23 is a great price, too. read more

I used to come here all the time, until they gradually got worse and worse... They put way too many coats of gel on my acrylics and they looked so wrinkly and terrible!! Employees are also very rude. read more

Tammy Nails - Best place in town! Alice and wonderland nails. Tonys the best and so nice and funy. - Nail Salons Near Me - Chico, California

Tammys nails is the best in Chico ca for pedicures and manicures . Every time I go there I'm treated like a king . Service is a 10 super friendly and always clean and great prices check them out you won't be disappointed read more

I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with our experience at Tammy Nails. I treated my granddaughter and her friend to a mani/pedi. We sat in wonderful massage chairs and put our feet in warm water. My polish was fine for the pedi but the clear she used on my hands started coming off almost as soon as it went on. My granddaughter and her friend had a glitter polish on their hands and feet that wouldn't set even after an hour. To me it looked like they had thinned it out too many times. After shopping, I went back to have them redo the girls nails, almost every nail had smudged, but I had to sit in the car because I had groceries in the car and as anyone in Chico knows, in July you can't leave anything in the car without AC. As soon as they woman was finished fixing the girls nails she began yelling at them to "get out. We don't have time for this". Unprofessional, disrespectful and as far as I am concerned the $100 I paid for the three of us was a waste. read more

I've been going to Tammy nails since my first set for 8th grade graduation, 10 years ago! It's hard for all of us to be stern, but if you get just any of the workers there, you just have to be very upfront with what you want, and if you don't like how they're doing. I, personally, go to Lisa every time. She's consistently amazing, listens to me, provides good conversation, and is very sweet. Highly recommend! read more

When I first moved to Chico about 7 yrs ago I always came here to get my nails done. They were great. Slowly over the yrs the wait to get service has got worse and worse. My friend and I just left after waiting almost an hour in the pedicure chairs without a word from anyone after they sat us. Until we got up to leave and they said " just one more minute!" Nope. I kept hearing from my friends how bad the wait has become here and how they stopped coming because of it. Now I understand. And we got here on Friday at 1:00- not a Sat or Sun! Never coming here again. read more

Today was my first visit to Tammy nails, and it will be my last. Tony does a great job at acrylics, but the whole service experience left me feeling upset, and I was treated as though I was an inconvenience. The other young man working there was very rude. There was no positive customer service provided at all. I work in customer service, and my goal is to make sure my customers feel welcome and want to return. there are plenty of great competitors out there, and I will be doing my business elsewhere. read more

Bad customer service and sloppy manicure. The woman doing my nails took out her phone mid-hand massage and proceeded to simultaneously do my manicure and, I assume, check her text messages. At one point she completely stopped what she was doing to make a phone call. This may not have been a big deal if she had been paying attention or had told me she needed to make a call, but she was totally distracted and did a bad job. My nails were filed lopsided (in fact, they were hardly filed at all), and the polish was slopped on. I spent twenty minutes at home removing polish from my fingers and cuticles. I won't be back. read more

This was the worst set of nails I have ever gotten, they don't listen to what you want at all.... very upsetting

I love this place.. I've been a customer for over ten years and I will continue being a loyal customer.. They do beautiful work and are very friendly.. I love getting pink and white acrylics even when they're not on trend.. love them.. read more

I would give it a ZERO! I left with bumps from the gel topcoat on my nails, extra acrylic around the sides of my nails and he didnt even have me wash.my hands or put oil on them, I actoully had to get up.an ask if I was done an left with bumpy nails with the white powder from filing around them. Also I just got a fill nothing extra I was told it would be 18 when I went to pay it was 20 so he just added tip for a shitty job I WILL NOT GO BACK EVER AN I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL read more

they do nice nails but i recently discovered they use MMA ACRYLIC!!! DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE. it is very dangerous and can ruin your nails!!! mma is illegal! read more

I had a French pedicure done here and I loved it. It was sprayed on rather than painted with a brush, and the look was fantastic. With rhinestones at the base of the big toes, it was the cutest thing ever, and it lasted a really really long time. Tammy Nails is cheaper than some of the other places in town. My only wish is that they had enough people to staff all of their chairs and stations. Sometimes I come in and they have room for me but only a few technicians working. They were pretty patient with my grumpy grandma though! read more

Tammy's nails is horrible with customer service. The nails last forever but they over charge and are rude they just want your money. They answer the phone talk on the phone get up and don't even care. My friend got a fungus from here and they remind me of Lily's because another friend got a fungus from there! read more

good prices, but the polish doesn't last! I think they do it to quickly and it doesn't set properly.

I called Tammy's Nail's to see if they had time to put on a full set of nails for me. The woman who answered was the owner Tammy. She told me to come right then as it was not busy. I showed up and waited about 15 minutes then Tammy sent her son (approx. 10 years old) over to take the polish off my nails. I love kids but I don't want to pay for a kid to do my nails. I had gel polish on so as I had told Tammy they needed to be soaked. She then told her son to fill up a bowl to soak my nails in. After soaking my nails for about a half an hour I asked Tammy if my nails were done soaking. She told me to just keep soaking them. At this point I told her I had things to do and didn't have a lot of time to keep soaking. She then got mad at me and told me she would drill off the polish but it was going to ruin my nails. She had her husband Tony finish my nails and they were the worst I have ever had. They were talking the whole time in Vietnamese and sounded angry. The tips were not glued all the way on the acrylic was uneven and they didn't last even a week. The salon was dirty and there were kids running around the salon (the owners kids) I will NEVER go back. read more
