If I could leave zero stars, I would. My fiance purchased an extended warranty through Fidelity Warranty Services on my Hyundai through Tameron Hyundai specifically for peace of mind, knowing Hyundai engines are notorious for issues. She thought she was protecting my investment and my family. Instead, this company has done nothing but waste my time, stress us out, and ultimately deny coverage in a situation where a warranty should matter most. From the beginning of this claim, they made everything as difficult as possible. They required proof of every single oil change since I've owned the vehicle - which I provided, and then some. I get my oil changes done early and keep my records. That still wasn't good enough. Then they decided they "couldn't find" the new registration and wanted to verify that she was the original owner, like I was trying to pull something over on them. I had to jump through hoops over something they could have easily verified if they actually wanted to help instead of avoid paying a claim. This whole ordeal has dragged on for two and a half weeks while my engine has been having problems. Again, this is a Hyundai - engine issues are not exactly rare, which is exactly why you buy an extended warranty in the first place. You think you're buying protection, but what you're really doing is putting money in their pockets so they can find reasons not to help you when it actually matters. After all this back-and-forth, documentation, and waiting, they denied the warranty claim anyway. As I'm writing this, I am on hold with them, supposedly waiting for an "engine specialist" to get on the phone. I've been on hold for about an hour, stuck listening to awful hold music, luckily while I happen to have a five-hour drive ahead of me. Most people don't have that kind of time to waste. To be clear: She maintained my vehicle. She provided all the records they asked for. She cooperated with their long, drawn-out process. And they still denied the claim. At this point, it feels like Tameron Hyundai and Fidelity Warranty Services is in the business of collecting premiums and denying claims, not helping people. They took the sense of security that an extended warranty is supposed to give and turned it into profit for themselves, leaving us with a broken engine and a denied claim. I'm a firefighter, and I have a lot of people who trust my word. I have a large following on social media - over a million followers across platforms - and I fully intend to share this experience everywhere I can. I may not be able to get my time or money back, but I will absolutely get some satisfaction from making sure as many people as possible know to stay far away from Tameron Hyundai and Fidelity Warranty that they promote. If you're reading this and considering an extended warranty from them: Don't. Protect yourself by not doing business with Tameron Hyundai or Fidelity Warranty which Tameron promotes, a company that treats customers like this. read more

I have a 2023 Electric Hyundai Ioniq 5, In December I got a software update I think on ECU. The car is rated at 305 miles per charge. But it usually charged to 340 to 350. Now after the update this instantly dropped to 275-278. Charged it several times since the update and that is all it will charge to. Very disappointing as this is no where near the advertised rate, much less than the extra amount I was getting. Called Tameron Hyundai and got a big run around. Sadly the service tech said this was a Hyundai issue, not them and there was nothing they could do about it. Total cop out as he gave me the Hyundai Customer Service number to do my own followup. Fact: I bought the car from Tameron, not Hyundai. Calling Hyundai, but that was pretty much a dead end. Will be buying elsewhere in the future. read more

Went to Test drive a Palisade CALLIGRAPHY, sales man CHRIS ask me a MILLION questions (not necessary for a test drive, because I'd test driven 3 other cars that day with a Drivers Licenses and NOT QUESTIONS) MR BOOTHE asked me what I wanted and I told him a 25 Palisade, White with Light interior. He went and got a car that was a USED Palisade SEL with Cloth seats. I told him this wasn't what I asked for and he said, they gave me this one because it would better fit into your BUDGET. I HAD NOT GIVEN HIM A BUDGET, ONLY WHAT I WANTED TO TEST DRIVE. I explained that he had INSULTED Me and wasted 45 minutes of my day. I left and immediately called the "BIG MANAGER" BLAKE as Chris called him to explain my disappointment and was told he wasn't in the office (even thought he'd been sitting in the office playing on his cell phone the entire time I as in the showroom. The receptionist said she did leave a message on MR BRADENS desk....that was 2pm its not 5 pm and still no call...I returned to the dealership to get Chris's card since he had all my information but I had nothing of his. His Sales manager came out to my car as I was leaving and was very nice asking if he could help. I told him no sir. I'd already been insulted once and didn't care for a repeat. He told me not to be mad at Chris, he as only doing what the people in the back told him. Basically, we purchased a new Hyundai Tucson that had been detailed after the paper work had been completed. They sprayed a cover up air freshener that masked the new car smell. I am highly allergic to cleaning solutions/ deodorizers and we brought the car back the next day. They did not have another car in that color and model and they would not return my car so we were forced to upgrade to a more expensive vehicle. We have purchased over 10 vehicles from Tameron as a family over the years and I would have expected better service. I am very disappointed in their attitude, and will never do business with them in the future. To top it off, they let us leave without completing the paperwork AND did not show us the features of the car so I am clueless about how to use certain features. They half heartedly attempted but by that time, there was so much tension, I just wanted to get out of there. We had an appointment set with the sales manager to test drive a car and it was sold right before we pulled into the lot. The car was still sitting there and we just thought it was waiting on us to test drive. We drove over 2 hours to get to the dealership to buy that car. A phone call would have been nice to let us know the car was being sold during our appointment time. The only thing that was said was "Sorry, someone got here first." They tried to get us to look at other cars but what den of thieving lairs. Also, do not go here unless you're financing because cash is no longer what they want. They want that kickback from financing companies and charge you more if you are paying in cash. They also have a $900 doc fee that we were told could not be waived. When you go to the service department of a car dealership, you expect not only service for your vehicle but also customer service. Tameron Hyundai fell short in their customer service in a big way. Communication is a key fundamental skill when working with the public, and sometimes either you have it or you don't and unfortunately Joe and Matt didn't have it. We went to the dealership to get peeling paint fixed on our Santa Fe which had been recalled. Yes, recalled paint. It was peeling off like it was never attached to the car. Now that's problem one, come on Hyundai how can you mess up paint. I've seen the 100 other recalls and litigation but paint? It's a long and distressing story to how we even got to the point of owning a Hyundai, which I will spare you the details. But back to the original issue, all they had to do was fix the paint and not be total jerks about acknowledging the deficiencies of the product they support. I've never seen such a lack of communication and time wasted. Apparently a customer's time isn't as valuable as their own and it's okay to make multiple trips to be told, oops your car really isn't ready, again. My 1 star review of Hyundai was just brought down to a negative star, thanks to the lack of customer service, communication, organization and quality of the service department. DO NOT purchase from them or any of their affiliate dealerships. In September my daughter's car died. My dad & daughter began a search for a used vehicle. They found a 2014 Ford Edge SEL. Carfax was clear, price was good, car was in great condition....or so it appeared. They test drove it and liked it. They began the process of purchasing this car. It was $16 with fees, etc. My daughter had $4k to put down and they were telling her that her payments were going to be $600/month for 5 years. That brings the car total to $36k even though she was going to be able to put down 25%. (This should have been #1.) It was decided that a cash payment would be made for the entire vehicle instead of financing it. When they went to pay for the vehicle (cashiers check in hand) the Ford was not on the lot. They asked about it and the sales guy said it needed an ABS (brake system) module and that they would "fix it". He said "we'll make this right and you can drive this 2024 Hyundai in the mean time. Fast forward almost a month and they want this loaner vehicle back and her car is NOT fixed. My daughter had already gotten the title, paid the tax on it and gotten a license plate. They told her that they would not be giving her another car to drive and they needed the loaner back but couldn't tell her when her car, that she owns, will be fixed. We made damn sure she got another "loaner" and she drove off. Fast forward almost another month and the car still wasn't fixed, sitting at the Ford dealership in Hoover with NO ABS module. My dad went to the Ford dealership and spoke to the service tech that was trying to work on it and he was able to get more infor from them than Tameron. Tameron fraudulently sold my daughter a car that should have NEVER been on the lot, let her and my dad drive in a vehicle with bad braking system (that could have ended catastrophicly) and ended up buying the car back from her bc they couldn't get the parts for it. NOW this SAME FORD EDGE is back on the lot at Tameron Hyundai for $2k more than they sold it to her! This has been a cluster at best. They were clowns, tried to bully my kid into leaving the dealership without a car to drive (told her she needed to choose another car or get her $ back at 4:30 on a weeknight) and her sold a DANGEROUS vehicle. After a horrible buying experience at Jim Burke, I went to Tameron. Seemed like better people, but in the end, no matter how hard I tried, they still burned me. I overpaid $2000+. They also snuck-in a 3rd party extended warranty of $2,500 - which I was able to spot overnight and revoke. Really wish I had walked away. Horrible feeling to get reamed when you do your best.
