I love the staff at this location. Very friendly, professional and efficient. They truly care about their customers. They are very honest and reliable and would not recommend anything unnecessary and always explain in detail what needs to be done. They provided a really good service. The only critique I have is that once you actually put the brand new tires to check the tire pressure. All three of my brand new tires had three different readings and were off pretty drastically. I do really like the customer service and will keep using them. Could've just been human error. Friendly workers but they can get busy. Call ahead and tell them what you need and schedule an appointment. There are some fees attached to getting a tire changed but this is expected. Discuss throughly and read what you're signing. Location is convenient. There are many walkable stores nearby (Chick Fil A, Rite Aid, Burlington, Famous Fred's, Dollar Tree and Party City and a great other local places) if you don't want to sit and wait for hours. Anytime we have to deal with something related to the car I feel like the simpler it is the higher chance there will be a positive outlook on the experience. Leave it to Goodyear to make the process of getting some new tires as simple as ordering food online and having them bring it out to the car. Simple online process for selecting the tires (multiple price points) and check out is simple and includes all taxes and installation fees. Schedule a time to show up (on-line) and show up then. Give them your keys and they are off to get you squared away. I had a ride to work so wasn't waiting, but they indicated it would be ready by lunch, and by the time I arrived they had me parked out front ready to go. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and made the experience extremely pleasurable. So glad I went with Goodyear for replacement tires. Highly recommended and I would return here without any hesitation. read more

I went there for tire repair. Goodyear actually offers the service free of charge. I am pretty surprised and delighted as well because other place quotes a $30 fee to repair a tire. Anyway I was satisfied with the service and would recommend this center. The owner is at the front desk to make sure everything is organized and systematic. Some people naturally just look serious. In my opinion a good job at reasonable cost is all that matter especially for auto service. It is always better to schedule an appointment to avoid unnecessary wait. read more

As I headed home to Florida from Tennessee with three kids in the car, one a small toddler, I noticed the cause of my slow tire leak when I saw a nail while pumping gas. I timed my drive and figured I'd be around Birmingham at noon so I called and spoke w the manager Danny about coming in and he reassured me he could fit me in. Danny did just that as my kids and I waited and even grabbed lunch next door to eat in the tire showroom while my toddler stretched her legs. The kindness and hospitality shown by Tracy, who helped get my car in, told us about lunch spots, and gave my daughter a few toys to play with was just heartwarming and made the issue and my concerns go away. I felt confident on my 4-5 hour drive home that my kids and I were safe on the road and in July 4th traffic. The kindness of Tracy and Danny was notable and I want them to know I appreciate it so much. The professionalism of their team was wonderful as well. Thank you!! read more

I had trouble opening my hood, my truck needed oil & all I know is that my husband said the latch was in the grate. I popped the hood lever & pushed on anything that looked like a lever. I have MS, it is 90 degrees out & my hands are very weak today, so I thought it was me not having the strength to push a lever enough. I was at a gas station right across the street from Goodyear, I pulled across the street, went inside & ask the guy at the counter if someone could help me open my hood, told him I had the oil, I can put it in myself but I have MS & am having trouble opening my hood. Very rudely & with a look of how dare you ask me that, he tells me it will be a while about 90 minutes - I said to open my hood? He then proceeds to tell me I probably broke something with the latch & he has nobody right now (I see men walking all around with Goodyear shirts on - in fact I am speaking to a man right now) I said nothing is broke on it, like I said when I came in I have MS, my hands are weak & I can't pop the lever and proceed to turn around towards the door shaking my head in disbelief of the rudeness & lack of just common courteous of helping someone out. He then looks over at this young guy behind counter & barks at him - you think you can help her, the guy politely says with what, Mr. Rude goes I don't know something about opening her hood. The very nice young gentleman walks outside & in less than 2 minutes opens my hood & proceeds to show me exactly where the latch is & how to do it. 2 maybe 3 minutes!!! But I went through 10 minutes of rude, making me feel like crap cause I can't open my own hood, pure ugliness. I will never go there again!!! Before that young guy offered to help - I had tears in my eyes that is how horrible the rude old man behind the counter made me feel. Ladies NEVER stop or go by - you won't get the least bit of courteous!!! I was so upset, I immediately drove back across the street just to do this comment. read more

Extremely rude employee- will never go back! I called a day in advance to ask about an oil change and was told to come in before noon the next day and it would take 2 hours. That is a very long time for a simple oil change but ok... planned my whole day around it- got there at 11:45- had a friend meet me there so I could leave the car for the 2 hours- was rudely told it would be at least 3 hours to get done. When I said I called and was told 2 hours the old man behind the counter basically called me a liar! Said, "no one here told you that!" I assured him I was no liar and pointed out that there were only 2 cars there at the time- how on earth could it take 3 hours?!. He just looked at me hatefully and repeated- THREE HOURS! Left and went to Express Oil- was in and out in less than 20 minutes, much lower cost and extremely polite and courteous employees. DO NOT GO TO GOODYEAR IN HOOVER!!! read more
