Two types of Mezcal are available here and that alone wins some points. The covered, outdoor oasis that is their back patio ranges from a fun place with friends featuring a catwalk to an intimate nighttime nook to have private conversations. The drinks were amazing! Do check out the specials board prior to ordering! I was so stoked to see that the lead mixologist, Mike, was a true mastermind. Ask him for a margarita or a mint julep or a dirty martini or a mojito or an old fashioned and he got it down without missing a beat. Happy hour prices are phenomenal but non happy hour prices will make you happy too. I wasn't thrilled about the food but it met the requirements of being hot, available and enough for sharing. We tried the calamari, mozzarella sticks, fries, boneless chicken, and mac n cheese. I tried to order the mushroom bites but they were sold out. The boneless wings had a weird consistency so I'd skip that next time. The mozzarella sticks are actually egg roll wrappers stuffed with cheese which was a mood killer for me. (Why would you mess up a perfectly good thing like a hot, gooey cheese pull? But I digress.) Beware that there is only one bathroom and while it does the job, it could be better and cleaner. Overall, Talon is a great choice for outdoor enjoyment-- especially during COVID-19-- although the inside area sets the mood so don't be shy and check it out! They definitely will ask for your proof of vaccination and ID when ordering, so come prepared.

Came here on a Saturday night in a group of 4 around 10pm and had no trouble getting a table out back. (It did fill up pretty quickly after that.) I absolutely loved the vibe of the backyard area: Open spacing, tons of foliage, and big doors to the interior that make it feel like one big space. I didn't stay for long or interact much with the staff inside, but everything about my experience was positive and I would definitely come back.

Great place for a spicey margarita - can't stop knocking them down... Plenty of cool indoor space and relaxed outdoor space.

This is a fantastic spot if you are in the mood to hang out and eat some good bar food…read more Most interesting lemon pepper wings I've ever had. Some sort of sweet glaze blended within the lemon pepper seasoning delicious. Also enjoyed the ranch dipping sauce which tasted homemade. The blue cheese was also great with a sharp taste. Burger was delicious! Every aspect complimented eachother. Normally I don't like American cheese on my burger but it worked on this one. Sauce and onions were perfection. The pickles were also great too. The pickles reminded me of a Japanese style appetizer I can't remeber the name of Delicious sweet potato fries and dipping sauce. The sauce Reminded me of a bang bang shrimp type dipping sauce. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Felt like they worked as a team. Bummed I didn't take more pictures, because all of the food was delicious!

Very low key and unassuming, especially at night... I ordered the Seneca burger (a smash burger), and added bacon. It was good, but $12 for a smash burger feels a bit steep. Good... but not $12 good. I also got the sweet potato fries, which were delicious and crispy. It came with a horseradish(?) dipping sauce that worked surprisingly well. They also had some interesting cocktail options. I'd come back for brunch or an early dinner to try more from the menu.

The food was really good. I noticed that our food came relatively quickly and our servers were professional and kind. My steak was juicy and pink, just the way I like it, the potatoes were seasoned really well and they weren't over or undercooked and the caesar salad had the perfect dressing to salad ratio. I would say that I was a little thrown off by the confusing and out of place the playlist seemed to be considering the vibe of the restaurant and the kind of food being served. Overall I really wasn't disappointed by the food or the experience. The restaurant was nice looking and I would definitely come here again.

I've dined here a total of 3 times throughout the years. It's always a lovely experience. The food is always delicious and well presented and the service is always warm and friendly. My daughter started off with their buffalo wings the last time we dined here. I ended up trying one and OMG it was sooo good! Making buffalo wings is definitely a craft!! Some Restaurants just don't have it down-pact..but Ltauha is SPOT ON!! Their wings are Dee-licious, crispy on the outside, tender / meaty on the inside and covered in a balanced, flavorful spicy sauce! Perfection!! This was my second time dining here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it once again…read more After enjoying a delicious meal paired with a fantastic all-jazz performance, I'm already looking forward to coming back. I ordered the short ribs and the five-onion soup again, and both were excellent. The service was spot-on and impressively quick--my food arrived in under 15 minutes. The owner is also really cool; he personally greets guests and makes a point of chatting with the performers to ensure they're comfortable. This is a wonderfully romantic spot. The beautiful flowers add such a nice touch (as I mentioned in my previous review). While it's not fully upscale, it has an elevated, sophisticated vibe that makes you want to dress up for the occasion. Highly recommended!

Well, at least business was "Blooming" due to Mother's Day reservations…read more All jokes aside, I visited this restaurant yesterday for a Mother's Day brunch with a group of eight others. Our reservation had been confirmed the day before by both our host and the restaurant. When I arrived early, I was surprised to find the place jam-packed and clearly overcrowded. The front-of-house staff, along with the presumed owner, seemed overwhelmed and initially could not locate our 12:00 reservation. There were also guests with 11:30 and later reservations that were still waiting to be seated, along with several other groups scheduled around our time. After waiting nearly 50 minutes, talking with others who were also waiting, and watching two other tables be hastily set up and filled, we were finally seated. The table had been quickly wiped down and set with placemats, but it was missing silverware and several glasses. Most of this was resolved fairly quickly, though two people still never received glasses, with one person asking a few times for one. Our clearly overworked waitress brought us water and eventually took our order after a shorter additional wait. I ordered a $6 cappuccino, which was enjoyable, with a moderate amount of foam and a pleasantly bitter flavor without tasting over-roasted. However, another person's $4.50 iced coffee did not seem worth the price, as it appeared to be no more than a 12-ounce glass and was mostly filled with ice. Outside of coffee, the staff was understandably slow with water, with long waits, and we finally got a pitcher near the end of the meal. For my meal, I chose the $16 Poached Browns, which included two poached eggs, pulled pork, an English muffin, hollandaise sauce, and their Bloom hash. Many minutes later, and I mean many, the eggs were properly poached and were the highlight of the dish. The pulled pork, served without any additional sauce, was dry, and the small amount of hollandaise did little to help. The hash on the side lacked crispiness and vegetables, aside from what might have been a tiny piece of chopped yellow pepper. Overall, it was below average but passable. Two others ordered the Make Your Own Omelette for $19, which comes with a choice of three ingredients, the same hash, and bacon. They made two specific requests, both of which our waitress confirmed: first, that they did not want bacon, and second, that they could substitute fries for the hash--regular fries for one person and sweet potato fries for the other. Despite this, both plates arrived with bacon, as you can see in my first photo, where one of them transferred her bacon to my plate. The other person sent her plate back and ended up receiving her Mother's Day meal well after everyone else. The omelette also looked a bit more like a frittata, which I didn't mind. After waiting a while, including finally getting pitchers of water, we finally left after a long and annoying bunch. If this spot indeed had reservation issues, why on earth were they still allowing walk-ins? Why did they tell people it would take 15-20 minutes to seat when it would clearly take 30+? This entire experience was inept from beginning to end. The food this time is closer to a 2, but our experience as a whole was closer to a 1. I would never go back.
