The hand rails for the steps are definitely sturdy and well constructed but home health pointed out the gap between the two base of the rail was too wide. Someone could slip under the rail and off the steps. Feina did ask if I wanted one or two rails during the estimate but I didn't know why - so I said one.

George on the other hand, called me the same day and stopped by my house soon after to take some measurements. He provided me with a quote with all costs broken down. He waited patiently while I collected other quotes and discussed with my husband. We went with George because of his excellent communication, he showed us plans/what to expect, and is honest. George and his assistant Saul did an terrific job on our railing project. They showed up on time, on the day they said they were going to be at our house, and completed the project in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the result! It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. You can see their work for yourself on the right hand side of Nuuanu heading out of Honolulu.

We thought they'd have to replace the boards but after refinishing they look new again. The work was high quality, the dust was limited due to the care in which they wrapped things and the equipment they used. The professionalism and quality were excellent. Speaking with Parris and getting the initial quote was a quick and easy process. Parris and his guys completed the paperwork we needed for HOA approval without issue, and installation happened quickly after our HOA gave us the go ahead. The installation itself was also completed quickly (2-3 days of work if I recall) and the best part other than the quality of the fence was that the way they install the fence posts leaves your yard looking exactly as it was before--no giant holes or dirt piles left behind. A few months ago, we needed a repair due to our landscapers accidentally shooting a rock through a fence panel. Parris was quick to respond and had his guys out there the next day to complete the repair at a reasonable price. They even noticed our gate wasn't shutting properly and made some adjustments on the spot at no additional cost without us asking. Most recently, we installed some pavers that went under our gate and needed some adjustments to be made to the height of the gate so the gate could close over the pavers. Again, Parris and his team were out quickly to make the changes we needed to our gate, and we couldn't be happier! Yes, you can find other companies to install vinyl fencing for less money.
