My lunch was delicious. I had the Crispy noodle Chow Mein and Chicken fried Rice. I liked the food, but it is hard for just one person to go and eat. They need to include some combination dinners. I don't want that much of one food, and to order two or three is not cost effective. It cost me 32 dollars for lunch just so I could have 2 items. Yes I had left overs but I would rather have a combination lunch. My food was FRESH and Hot . I won't go back by myself. Let me know if they ever offer a combo lunch or dinner. :) read more

A rare delight since there are no other Chinese restaurants, let alone a Taiwanese restaurant, around here. I tried their beef noodles today, and it is among one of the best I've had...and I've had lots of beef noodle soups all over California. The meat is very tender and the flavor cooked in really well. What a great find! We were looking for Asian/Chinese food in Manteca, and Taiwan Delight did not disappoint. We ordered the beef noodle soup, stir-fried string beans, and the salt and pepper tofu, and honestly, every dish was delicious. The beef noodle soup had a rich, comforting broth with tender beef, the string beans were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the salt and pepper tofu was crispy on the outside and silky on the inside. It's not always easy to find good Taiwanese cuisine in the Central Valley, so we're really happy we found this place. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. First time here. Pretty simple layout of the restaurant. It's nice they have a Taiwanese restaurant in Manteca. I ordered the spicy combination noodle soup. Flavors were there and portions were decent. I love how they used jumbo shrimps. Server was very polite as she checked on me and refilled my water twice. This shop isn't bad nor great. Looked at the menu and wished they had more stand out items. Something to push them into the spotlight. I'm so used to going to Tasty Pot in Stockton where it's a whole culture over there. Amazing customer service! The owner was so friendly, welcoming, and kind. Easily some of the best food we've had in Manteca. We actually went to Taiwan this spring, and it was so special getting to enjoy some of our favorite authentic foods again right here in town. Everything tastes homemade and fresh! This is very authentic, and we are so happy to finally have real Taiwanese food in the Central Valley. The winter melon tea was delicious, and service was super quick since they have two tablets available for ordering. We also placed a to go order, and everything was packaged really well. Right now, meals are served in to go containers, and they have Costco tables and chairs set up while waiting for their permanent furniture to arrive. The owner mentioned the new furniture is coming soon! Please support this local business. We felt genuinely welcomed and cannot wait to come back. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single thing was amazing. We ate the Taiwanese donuts before we could even take a picture because they were SO fresh and good because they make the dough in house! We were getting boba at Te Amo when I saw the menu of Taiwan Delight. They looked good so we went over and placed an order for takeout. It's nice to see physical menus again and talk to a server who actually answers your questions. We placed our order and waited at one of their tables. There are several tables inside, not too crowded. It was also clean and the staff quickly cleaned the tables once customers left. We didn't wait too long for our food and it came in a nice takeout bags. We ordered the honey mayo shrimp, sweet and sour pork, broccoli and beef, chow mein, popcorn chicken, green beans and crab rangoons. Our food was piping hot by the time we got home. The portions were huge. Everything tasted good, not too salty or heavy. The crab rangoons had decent amount of crab and not just cream cheese. The sweet and sour had a nice tang to it and the meat to veggie portion was on point. Definitely worth coming back to again. read more

I was driving down from Yosemite when I decided to stop by for a quick lunch. It was interesting to see a Taiwanese restaurant in Manteca so I decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much considering that I go to the Bay Area often, but I was pleasantly surprised by the things I ordered off the menu. I ordered their spicy combination noodle soup (I asked for no spicy, but the waitress recommended that the spice is what gives the soup more flavor), Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and salt and pepper pork chops. Everything came out fast and piping hot and the flavors were all on point. The popcorn chicken was packed with flavor and crispy and the pork chops were so tender. I'd definitely make another trip if I'm around the area or even stop by their sister restaurant in Milpitas. They've just opened so I recommend you giving this place a try! read more

First time eating here, tried the Cucumber Salad, Beef Noodle Soup, and Taiwanese Style Rice Noodles. All are very good, the Beef noodle soup had super tender, melty Beef, strong beefy flavor with some 5 spice seasoning, good chewy noodles and pickled vegetables. Ordered party trays and the lady taking my order was very kind making the process easier. All the food was ready by the pick up time, and the waitress helped bring the trays to my car. Was in the area for an overnight at Great Wolf Lodge with the family. Saw this restaurant on Yelp and took a chance. They only have a few tables you can sit and eat but not formal seating like take a date or family sit down. We ended up taking it home and watched a family movie. It was our first time going to Taiwan Delight today and they did not disappoint. The waitress kept apologizing and told us that the setup in there is only temporary and they'll be up and running with real dining tables this Friday.
