Wings pretty good, with a flight
Ally O.

Customer service is there with patience and guidance is choosing something to drink and eat. Their wings, their beer and their pizza are too good. Fun to choose some flights or just a pint. A tad bit pricey but nice for a treat here and there. Also unfortunately you do have to pay for parking. A bonus is inside and outside seating

We had such a good time here. Every beer we tried was amazing, the sandwiches were INCREDIBLE! The bartender was super responsive to us trying different beers and service was 10/10!

We were in town for a concert and looking around for a place to eat and have a beer before it, when we spotted TailGate. We've been to a couple of the Nashville locations, so we had to try this one! My husband got a full pour of beer, while I went with a flight. I get a flight whenever I can. The beers were tasty. For food, we chose the spicy vodka pizza. It was a party in my mouth! So flavorful with a hint of spice. The service was outstanding. So friendly. Looking forward to stopping back in the next time we're in town!

Had a blast watching the Bears game on the patio. Lookin forward to better heaters but the drinks were delicious and our new friend, Kaitlin from New Hampshire was the best!!! Whiskey, Rocky and Ginny were thrilled to be out and about!

My trivia team came here to play trivia for a change of scenery. My teammates had played here once before, but this was my first time. You place your order at the bar, get a number and find a seat, so I placed my order. I asked for unsweetened iced tea with lemon. They had neither the tea, nor the lemon. What bar has no lemon?? I ended up with water and wings. There was no A/C on the second floor so we ended up playing trivia on the second floor patio in 90° heat, which was not pleasant. The patio is not covered and only has a few sunshades over some of the picnic tables. Sitting at a picnic table for 3 hours also wasn't very comfortable. My friends ordered small pizzas and they smelled delicious. My wings were great. Luckily we had access to a soda machine so we could all refill our own waters frequently. While there was staff around, they weren't there frequently enough on a hot day to fill waters. They were there mostly to clear tables and occasionally check in. The highlight of my night was the cannoli. They were the best I've had since I've been in Chattanooga! A couple of additional details about the place...it is not handicap accessible as far as I can see. There are tons of stairs which does not make it disability friendly. They use plastic utensils and Styrofoam to-go boxes. There are unisex bathrooms, which is nice because you don't have to stand in line. I gave it 3 stars because of the A/C issue and inaccessibility. The food is somewhat pricey, too, though good as far as first impressions go. Get the A/C fixed and earn another star.

While I was super sad to see the former tenant of this building leave, Tailgate Brewery is living up to the history of good food in a fun venue. The pizza was absolutely delicious and the wings were some of the best I've had in the city. This is becoming the go to place for my bookclub when we're not having a meeting at someone's house because the space, food, employees are all great. 10/10 would recommend for the food and service.

Stoped in got a pizza and a beer before a concert and had an amazing time! The pizza had a fantastic taste with a hint of spiciness, I loved every bite. All the beers we had tasted amazing, along with a friendly knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed it so much we plan on stopping in on our next trip and you should too!

Apple Pie Cider, Double hazy IPA

Delicious beers, the Double IPA is amazing, my gf recommends the apple pie cider. Both on point. The staff is amazing! Riley was very welcoming right off the rip and gave hints to alternatives to sours. Caitlin was very knowledgeable and so sweet to stop and talk with us for 10 mins about local spots and trails. We personally want to thank Caitlin for recommendations on the area and Oddstory. We will definitely be coming back because of you guys!

In town for a brief visit and wanted to check out a local brewery. This relaxed venue was perfect to enjoy a beer on the upstairs patio and take in a brief glimpse of the activity on Station Street. Great selection of beers. My strawberry lemonade shandy was tart and refreshing and my husband enjoyed his Wizard IPA. All the staff were friendly, and helpful, but Kaitlyn kindly took extra time to explain the area and make us feel welcome. Kid and dog friendly. Check it out.

Enjoyed a few flights with friends. I really liked some of the more unusual porters. One was maple bourbon, unusual and delicious!

Everyone is super friendly and love on my pup when I bring her in. Sit outside when the weather is nice, otherwise head on indoors to keep warm/cool/dry. We ended up at Pax Breu Ruim twice in one weekend a couple years back and didn't regret it for a second. I loved the draft espresso martini and winter sangria they had and the Paloma tasted like it should - like a fresh Paloma cocktail. We stopped in on a Tuesday night last month, which happened to be 20% off draft cocktails night. I tried the Talisman, which is the N.A. draft cocktail but added gin on the bartender's recommendation for $5 more. After the 20% discount, tip and the "liquor by the drink tax" (is that a Tennessee thing?) two drinks ended up being $15 each. Not bad at all, but I can't imagine how much it would have been without the discount... Even so, the cocktails were super interesting, not just basic options, so I was definitely intrigued and always excited to see what they come up with next. Definitely my go-to dog friendly spot to grab drinks and BYOFood that isn't just a brewery!

Their selection of canned cider is limited and not that exciting, and their mixed drinks always taste weird. Food is non-existent unless they have the rare food truck, so we often end up bringing our own snacks. The bartenders are nice and service is fine. The bar itself is pretty cool, offering darts and boardgames, along with various seating options, including a small outside area. They allow dogs, which is nice because I can bring mine to trivia. If you're a beer drinker, this is the place for you. If you aren't, skip it.

They have another dining area and an outside area too. Hunter was our server and she was great! She had great recommendations and was an attentive, fun person. Our glasses never ran empty. We started with Jalapeno Cheddar Hushpuppies with Spicy Yogurt. My husband had the Smoked Brisket French Dip - Smoked Brisket, Caramelized Onions, Provolone Cheese, Au Jus, French Hoagie with Beer Battered Fries. I had The Motherclucker - Springer Mountain Farms Southern Fried Chicken, Spiced Pickles, Hot Sauce, Duke's Mayo, Niedlov's Bun. Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. This brought back childhood memories of my grandmother's cobblers. My husband had the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Upon entering we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. Wait time was reasonable (20 mins) and there was a fair amount of seating. There were about 3-4 groups waiting to be seated. We were walked through the establishment and seated at a booth table near the bar. If you are into sports you can see the TVs from just about every seat. The waitress arrived shortly after our seating and took our appetizer and drink order. We started with the Triple B. The fries came out quickly, were hot, fresh and delicious. The drink I ordered was out, but the waitress gave another option, but unfortunately that was out as well. Ended up having an old favorite, Guinness. For our meals we ordered the smoked brisket French dip and the wagyu burger. Upon ordered the burger our waitress informed us there was a shortage of patties and if we still wanted the burger we would get one patty instead of two, but at a lower cost. Both dishes were amazing and we couldn't finish them as both the fries and the entrees were larger in comparison to other places we have eaten. Overall this was a great experience with great food. The only thing we had difficulty with is having to use the phone flashlight to read the menu as the lighting was really dim. Will definitely return if we take another trip here.

I had a couple of beers, paid my bill, I went back to my hotel to get some work done, then came back for dinner. Monday night's special is any po'boy and they throw in a cold beer for free! I can't pass that up... I got the roast beef drippings po'boy with horseradish mayo and a side cup of pimento cheese grits; everything was excellent, but the sandwich was really messy. Still tasted really good, though. Three beers, a great sammich (although I'll probably get the oyster or catfish option next time), and a side of creamy grits for $40 total between two visits (that includes tips). I will definitely be back to this place next time I'm in Chattanooga. It looks like there are great specials each night Monday through Friday; I just happened to be here on Monday. Service was very prompt and able to offer some insight on the po'boys, which was helpful. *NOTE* the walk is through apartments and townhouses so pretty safe but no sidewalk for part of it.

The flatbread Cajun chicken pizza was not what was expected, zero Cajun taste on the chicken or pizza but it was still really good with the hot sauce on the side. The bread was soft, the oysters and shrimp were crisp and tasty. I asked for the remoulade and tartar sauce on the side and both were good, it was hard to choose a favorite.
