WanderLinger has become one of my favorite spots in Chattanooga. It's one of those places where you stop in for a beer and somehow end up staying for hours because there's always something happening. The vibe is laid back, everyone is welcoming, and it feels more like a community hangout than just a brewery. The beer is great, the food is actually really good, and I love that they constantly have live music, trivia, and different events going on. You can tell they genuinely support local artists and musicians, which makes the place feel unique. Whether I'm meeting friends, grabbing brunch, or just hanging out for the evening, WanderLinger is always a solid choice. Definitely one of the best places to spend a night in Chattanooga. read more

It's still taco week in Chattanooga! We tried a new restaurant tonight. It's one of those that you Oder at the bar, bring your beer to the table, and then go back up to the bar to get your food. And then they want us to tip. No one came to ask us how everything we ordered was okay, and no one asked us if we wanted refills. The food was just okay. Nothing special except for the beer sauce made in house. Their dessert taco was a good treat at the end. The interior is cute and kid friendly. We wandered in to try the blackberry sour beer only to find it wasn't really a sour, so opted for a couple of cocktails. Unfortunately, we were handed a menu of which no drinks were available. Sooo we ordered off a different menu. Quite the confusion on both sides of the bar on that one. The bartender was a definite dude-bro with only an outside voice, so we moved away from the bar to enjoy our drinks. We came in on a Saturday morning around 11:30 and the place was dead. Probably picked a bad time to come in for atmosphere but we came for the food and beer anyway so all good. Walking in we were met with an awful odor, I thought there was a bathroom leak but it turned out we were smelling the burning jasmine incense lol. My apologies to the bartender if I offended her but it wasn't pleasant. I got a flight of beers, all good but my favorite was the Silent Voyager NEIPA. I got the ramen and wife had cheesesteak. 5 stars for the beer and new space and 1 for the food = 3. They've moved into the Choo Choo complex, which I feel is a better location vs. King Street. The outside decks facing both south on Station Street and north on the tract side are nice spaces to talk and people watch, although smokers can spoil the space for non smokers. Inside is roomy and is set up for what looks like to be a competitive music venue. The burger and chips from a bag, the only food ordered-to-date, looked and tasted like a frozen foodservice / warehouse club burger. Competing in a town with some great burgers, it needs work. Really enjoyed WanderLinger. I was in town for a wedding and wanted to check out some local spots before the ceremony. We ended up here because they had beer and lunch. I started with a flight and then continued with a pint of my favorite. They had a good array of options, but one of their sours was my favorite. The server was very friendly and tended to all of our questions. They had a few games to play and nice outdoor seating. Ended up taking a 6 pack home with me. Ok, but the star of this place is the soft pretzel. It's been two weeks since I visited, and I'm still thinking about it. Soft inside, but a perfect outside crust. And loved the mustard and cheese. There's also a pizza place next door that you can mobile order from. Some people in my group did, and the sauce was good. We loved the Stout beer along with their Reuben sandwich. I would go again but for the parking! There are no free spaces for the place. Even after 6pm! Was really looking forward to trying WanderLinger, specifically their Juice Caboose and 100 Day IPA. We're on a road trip and picking up a case of beer from each brewery we visit. As one of the breweries in Chattanooga open the latest, we saved this one for last. Unfortunately, we were told we couldn't buy any beer without paying a $7 cover. Crazy to think any business would turn away $100+ in business over a $7 cover charge. Especially with only a handful of patrons inside. Maybe they're at a point where just paying the band for their time makes more sense and they just haven't realized it yet. Either way, I'll be over at Oddstory, Hutton & Smith, Heaven & Ale, Five Wits, or Chattanooga Brewing on my next visit. Too much competition and variety for stuff like this. read more

Great dog-friendly brewery in a large space with plenty of parking. We were there on a day when a band was playing. Nice touch. The space inside is large enough where you can spread out and not feel like someone is breathing down your neck. Because they don't serve food, you can bring your dog inside. Nice bonus on a hot day when air conditioning is preferred. They do have outdoor seating and there is a pizza restaurant in the same building, so you can order a pizza, sip on a nice cold beer and listen to music. Not a bad evening. I drank the Blackberry Hug. Really good sour beer that is not too tart--very approachable sour beer. We will be back! read more

Came on a Thursday on a day trip vacation. Enjoyed my time here. The bartender was working hard with all the folks that came to listen to the band play. The band was excellent. Came here on the recommendation from a local friend. It's a newer brewery that's dog friendly and puts on live shows. I came specifically to see Strung Like a Horse, an incredible band that combines bluegrass, rock, blues, funk, and a little gypsy to create an incredible sound. They're a local band but they tour, check them out! Opening for them was Lew Card, another great local bluegrass band. They put on a great, high energy, soulful show. A local visual artist was doing colorful light projections on a screen behind them, and a painter was making custom artwork in the distillery itself. They have corn-hole in a small triangle of astroturf outside. The space is open and airy, very versatile. And on some nights they have a BBQ truck with what looked like a smoker outside. It's a little hard to find from the road, make a right into the parking lot behind the Moxy Hotel and follow the music. Staff was great, stop in! read more

I was really looking forward to spending time with my family here. Pregnant, so was choosing one of the non-alcoholic beers available and the bartender couldn't have been more rude when asking for my ID. I understand the need to ID for non alcoholic, but the attitude served with the request was less than inviting. It really ruined my perception of the service and stopped me from Wanting to ever go back here. It's unfortunate, because the rest of my family really enjoyed the beer. read more
