the inside of a wine store

If you know wine then this is probably the best wine shop in the South. We found some amazing finds that you cannot find anywhere in the USA. Large selection at all price points. Killer deals can be found Service is outstanding, very kind and helpful Clean, organized. Beautiful store They have liquor too. Large selection and unusual finds. Love this place!

I can't give it the 5th star for 2 reasons - ehhh 3 reasons.... so really if I could give half stars this would be a 3.5 My expectations were high going in I'll admit but the outside impressions help with that. Selection was extensive and wine and beer wise there were plenty of options but they did not carry a jalapeño tequila that I have been searching for since moving up here that I usually got in Savannah/Hilton Head area. So there's 1 reason. Second reason for deduction was the snobby employees or the I'm too busy for you vibe... not cool. Last reason for hAlf seduction would be that the cool growler station wasn't in service currently. I'm assuming due to Coronavirus but I wouldn't know specifically because no employee tried to offer any help or explaination.... I did take a few pictures for reference for my husband in case he wanted to join the beer club they offer. Walked out without being enticed to purchase anything and that says a lot because I'm a pretty easy sale!

Walked in here looking for regular old commercial bourbon. I asked for a few pointers at local stuff, and the associate Brock reined his bourbon knowledge upon me. I walked out an expert....WOW. I was so impressed with his knowledge and his recommendations, I ended buying two bottles of Maker's Mark (let me reiterate I DO NOT like Maker's Mark I prefer a few other brands), but after looking and listening to the flavor palate of the bourbon I decided to pull the trigger.

Lovely spot that is open on Sunday which can be a challenge in Chattanooga. Excellent selection of beer, wine and spirits. They have taken every safety precaution for you. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I found a local 6 pack to try. Great bottle selection as well.

My latest purchase - see the imbibe sticker here - that means they think it's a winner - and I say IT IS!

I was in a rush for the Father of the Bride to pick up 3 extra bottles of wine and bourbon for the reception.

Sigler's is fairly unassuming but as a beer shop, it's all about the beer. You'll find a bar near the entry on the left with tables extending towards the back. The beers were mostly an assortment of offerings from local breweries - we were there to sample the beer they produce (they are also a local brewpub under the AlphaBrews brand). I tried a flight including: * Bless Your Lime Fruit Beer - 5% ABV - Super neutral, low level lime note, almost creamy across the tongue, easy drinker. 3/5 * Into the Blue Wheat Beer - Fruited 5% ABV - Tart body with a blueberry nose, daily easy drinking. Great lacing - make more of this! 3.5/5 * Tweed and Feed English Mild - 5.8% ABV - Pretty tasty brown with roasty malt body, tiny bit flat, bitter finish. 4/5 * Midnight Vanilla Milk Porter - 5.5% ABV - Roast malt creamy backbone, notes of chocolate and coffee, I'm not getting much vanilla, mostly a tiny bit nose. 4/5 Overall I think the beers were competently made, the service was fantastic - the guy behind the counter knew his stuff and was super personable. We're planning on hitting Sigler's on a regular basic - not much else in this area of Chatt.

The gardens at the Choo Choo are so charming and beautiful that it set the perfect ambiance for an "outdoor picnic/BBQ". We started with a refresher made of Sake. It was smooth and light and perfect for a hot afternoon. From there we started to peruse the various booths for food and spirits. Like anyone, we quickly had our favorites. My husband and I decided that next year we will not wait to win tickets, we will be purchasing them. I am looking forward to exploring some of these businesses outside of the venue. So grateful to have had this opportunity to partake in this!

I attend lots of the food and drink events in Chattanooga, but somehow I had missed this one. Now, I am so sorry that I missed any of them, this was the best food and drink event that I've attended!! First of all it was at the Choo Choo, which is the perfect location. It was miserably hot and I knew we would be able to step inside and cool off if we needed to. The event is set up in a long u-shape. So it's really easy to keep track of where you've been. There is a booklet that maps everything out for you so that you can go back and hit your favorites again! Music is at each end of the event. The first thing I'd like to address is the Sip part of Sip & Savor. Oh my, where to begin. There is something for everyone here! Not only is there plenty of beer and wine for everyone, there is whiskey, gin, and liqueurs. So much to choose from, I started with cocktails, moved on to some whiskey tasting, tried some wine and finished with beer. I know this sounds like a lot, but it was small amounts of each and I also filled in with plenty of water since it was so hot. My husband's favorite was definitely the Redemption Whiskey, he paced out his tasting and we looped back to this table every so often for him to try a different one. Now, let's talk about the savor part of Station Street Sip & Savor. There was plenty of good food to go around. There were lots of different takes on barbecue, I would have liked to see a few more cooler options like salads. But everything I tried was wonderful. It was miserably hot on this day and I still had a fantastic time. If you knew how much I hate hot weather, you would know how good this event was! Lots to drink, lots to eat, lots of friendly people and music...what more could you ask for? I forgot to mention - as if it couldn't get any better - this benefits Chattanooga's Kids on the Block!

We parked and before even going inside we went out front to take some the sun started to set too much. The mirror is done by a professional artist known for her beautiful wing designs. On the patio that we walked past to get to the inside was a live band playing, and there were a ton of cute dogs all over with their owners enjoying the music. It was the cutest sight. Inside there are 2 sections of the brewery, but they had the front closed so we couldn't use the back smaller part. I liked the small part to be honest with you. It wasn't super small, but it was much more quaint looking. Service was super friendly, offering us a samples of anything that we would like to try, but of course, we ultimately got a flight. Luckily for me , they also had the Lions game on so I was able to see the end of the game and our victory. They do have food on their menus, and I can definitely see us returning it to this location when we're in Chattanooga again.

Only the back part of the brewery was open, with an indoor and outdoor area, a couple TVs, and eclectic decor. They were running a promo: $3 for a 10 oz beer or $3 for a 16oz beer if you buy food. We got the Bird Watcher Kellerbier and Sunblaze American IPA -- both were fine. We also got the Mission-style burrito with al pastor ($11), as a Super Burrito ($2 upcharge for sour cream and avocado). This was the worst burrito I've had in a long time. Al pastor should be a balance of sweet and spicy; this was overpoweringly sweet. The side salsas had no heat, either. Mission-style burritos are known for their size, but this was a normal burrito, smaller than I would get at Chipotle. It took about 20 minutes to get the burrito which was too long.
