Small NY style spicy Italian
Samantha A.

Oh how I wish Columbus had a Taglio! It will be hard to visit Cincinnati without making a stop here. If you have dietary restrictions and just want to feel like you're eating a "normal" pizza...run here!!! I've had several different GF/DF pizzas, but this was my first Detroit style. The crust was perfection - soft yet crispy around the edges. The toppings on the spicy Italian were perfection. For the cherry on top, they had a GF/DF dessert option (chocolate sorbet). It was heavenly - couldn't even tell it was dairy free. Tasted like a rich fudge popsicle, in scoop-able form. It was pretty empty when we dined around 11:30 on a Wednesday. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Our food came out HOT and quickly! We got out in a rush to make it just in time for the Red's game.

Margherita lunch special Detroit style

Finally got to try the lunch special at Taglio in OTR! For $15 you get a drink, a salad, and a personal pizza. Upgrades are available if you want a signature style pizza. You can also choose between Detroit style and New York. The Detroit style pizza was so crunch and delicious. Our service was a little slow even though it wasn't very busy, but the waitresses we had were still very nice. Will absolutely be going back.

Half Greek, Half Old Schooer - NY Style

Popped in with a party of 11 - easy seating. The 5 kids shared a NY style cheese/pepperoni - which they loved. The adults shared a Detroit style half and half of Buffalo Chicken and Pepperoni and a NY Style Greek/Old Schooler half and half. I really enjoyed them all, with a preference for Detroit Style pizza. Buffalo is very spicy! Pepperoni is perfect. Preferred the Greek over Old Schooler, but both were delicious. Also shared a Pizza Lager with my wife - light and refreshing! Perfect for pizza. 5 stars for the food! Servers could have been a touch more attentive, but we were a lot of people! Definitely would love to try all the pizza options.

We eat in Cincy often but had never heard of Taglio until we went there on a brunch tour with Riverside Food Tours. Our server was friendly and got our food and drinks out to us quickly. We had Bianco Detroit style pizza which was very good. The restaurant itself was nice and bright with a lot of tvs set to sporting events if you want to watch your favorite team, but wasn't busy at all at noon on a Saturday, hopefully they are more full later in the day. We definitely want to return and try other menu items.

This place is always a good time! The food is absolutely delicious. The vibe is chill but lovely. You can have great conversations and still enjoy some sports on TV. Our server Audrey was awesome. She took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Great Server!!

Taglio in OTR is a cozy spot known for its classic pizzas, including Detroit and New York style and gluten-free options, along with fresh salads and crispy fried appetizers. We tried the Hot Honey pizza and the Spinach & Ricotta pizza. Our favorite was definitely the Hot Honey, cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already!

We stayed at a local B&B and didn't want to go out so we ordered take out. We ordered on line and everything came exactly as we ordered. It also came faster than the app said which was nice. The salad was the freshest salad I've ever had in take out. The pies were all fantastic! We had one of our party that can hardly eat anything and she ordered gluten free and vegan and LOVED it. Will definitely get this again the next time we're in town.

I had a deep dish pepperoni that really hit the spot but I was eyeballing the, "Queen Coney Pizza" that whole time. Stay tuned for an update...

Wasn't bad but wasn't anything crazy. Pizza was pretty good. Thought it would be better, it's a popular restaurant and I always hear great things about it. Service was good, place wasn't busy at all, we went on a Thursday night. Nothing bad to say about it, I was just expecting to be wowed.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

It's been a month and I'm still thinking about this pizza. Specifically the vegan cheese. We had warm and inviting service, a beautiful glass of dry rose and large TVs at the bar to keep us entertained. I loved that this place is a mix of it all. The Spicy Italian pizza was the favorite of the visit. We also tried the buffalo chicken which was crushed immediately. Perfect for solo diners and groups.

I don't know what's going on here.

I really enjoyed our meal at Taglio! They specialize in Detroit pan pizza with a lot of interesting topping combinations. We chose the Pineapple Chipotle which was on point! Savory and sweet met up and danced amazingly! The appetizer trio also featured some amazing mozzarella stix and eggplant parmesan as well as some well made fried green tomatoes. Mwuah! There are a couple of exclusive drafts on tap, satisfactory as well. Service was very attentive and helpful. Very informed and offered suggestions. I would go back!

Good food that is well seasoned. Our server was good too. A little overpriced for pizza.

Pepperoni with hot honey is where it's at. You can only get the Detroit style in the larger size so bring a friend or 3 to share it with.

This place is awesome! My husband and I were in town for the Bears/Bengals game and, after seeing…read morethe great reviews, we decided to stop here for dinner before the game. First, the location is awesome-literally cattycorner from the stadium and the ambiance is great since the owner is from Ireland, the place really looks like an Irish pub (according to my husband, who has been to Ireland many times.) I love the cozy dining nooks dotted around the restaurant. We expected it to be slammed packed and it was busy, but we were able to get right in. We had the best waitress. She was so friendly and really chatted it up with us and made awesome menu recommendations. The food was so freakin' good! Since it was a gameday, they were only doing a limited menu but there was something on there for everyone. We tried the two wings on offer-BFG & Hot Honey, as well as the Big Bag of Fries. The food came out pretty quickly and was piping hot. OMG. The wings were so good. I literally couldn't pick a favorite flavor. I usually don't like thicker cut fries but the waitress assured me that I would like them and she was right! They were so crispy and the Marie Rose and homemade ranch sauces complimented them perfectly. Be aware that the Big Bag of Fries is just that, big! So definitely shareable. I'm obviously not in Cincy often, but the next time I'm there, I will definitely stop in!
