Meticulous--that's the word that best describes Robert. He did an outstanding job installing a full-frame replacement window in my home. He and his team were professional throughout the entire process, keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe. The stucco work around the new window is especially impressive. The finish is clean, smooth, and blends seamlessly with the existing exterior, making the entire installation look like it has always been part of the home. The texture match is spot-on, which is not easy to achieve--especially on a 1950s house. He also went above and beyond by stuccoing a vent hole on the exterior wall. The repair is so well done that it is completely invisible in the photos and virtually undetectable in person. The stucco blend is flawless and shows a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Robert with Tadek Construction is fantastic! He did the initial quote and did the work with one additional crew member, and is a great communicator. It's nice to have a sales quote from someone who does the work- he has a deeper understanding of the issues. He found some unexpected problems (dry rot) when installing the doors, and was clear and helpful about doing the additional work to fix it. We had mangy old aluminum windows and half-broken sliding doors, and he did a retrofit installation and installed gorgeous vinyl double-pane windows. It looks so much better! He left our sunroom and our yard cleaner than he found it. He was always on time and there were no surprises. (Except finding dry rot, but that was a surprise he was able to competently fix.) We wouldn't hesitate to hire Tadek Construction again. read more

Their estimates consistently came in lower than other companies', but the work is top-notch; we also appreciate how communicative they have been with us. Especially if you need window work done, you *must* hire Tadek! Robert was so wonderful, and was super forthright and upfront with us when unforeseen structural problems with our original windows' installation that couldn't be seen by the home inspectors at sale (a whole other story...) were going to necessitate more time and a bit more expense. Joke (pronounced "Yoke-ah", is a fabulous communicator and meticulous about the quality of work that her team delivers. Robert installed windows in our place, which were badly installed by the previous owners. Went above and beyond to fix the botched structures that could have been hampered if prolonged. Everything is explained well, and his entire crew was very nice. One window frame had a small crack I would not have noticed, but Robert noticed it during installation and had it replaced and re-installed himself. I am so impressed by Robert's workmanship and attention to detail. I asked for his help to change an existing door and window to a sliding glass door. He called to ask me a few questions about the project, and provided a free estimate and timeframe. Robert has alot of knowledge about construction and framing, and thank goodness we hired someone who won't settle for subpar work. During the project, he found some bad wood rot under the old door's threshold and he told us he'd fix it and make it strong enough to support the new door. He also waterproofed everything and added flashing to the top of the wood that was newly replaced. I have no doubts that our new sliding door is sealed correctly and it will probably outlive the many other exterior doors that we have in this 1940s home!
