I had to chips in my windshield and took it to Don's Mobile Glass today. They repaired both chips in my windshield in about 45 min. I was able to actually file a claim with my insurance company and it didn't cost me a dime. That was a nice perk. In order to file that claim (which Don's Glass helped file) you need to have Comprehensive Insurance on your car. I've used Don's Mobile Glass before and they actually came out and replaced a windshield for me at my house several years ago. I will continue to use their services. I accidentally got locked out of my vehicle while it was running, with my dog inside. I forgot my phone at home and didn't have any cash or credit card on me, so I had to break my rear side window to get back in. I made an appointment with Don's to get it replaced and they called back the same day and told me they could do it same day if I could be there in 15 minutes, luckily I live close by. I was there for about an hour or so, friendly staff, nice waiting lounge with coffee/tea/water/snacks, and the restroom was remarkable clean and fresh smelling. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Not enough employees on duty and no urgency to get the work done. They also have issues resetting the sensors in the windshield. I do NOT recommend this business. Of the 6 hours that I waited, I estimate my vehicle sat untouched for 2 1/2 hours out of six. Also they had to go to the Stockton store to borrow a tool to calibrate the sensors. Ryan quickly and perfectly fixed one crack but unfortunately the big chip was not repairable. I guess whoever owned the car before me tried to fix it but did a poor job. I was sent to Dons Mobile Glass by my dealership to repair my windshield on a 2019 Miata. Everything was smooth, until my car started whistling inside the cabin. I noticed the middle part of my garnish was lifted. Made Dons Staff and my dealership aware. Dons had me come to the shop to assess my vehicle and tells me it's the clips that are broken. I did a research on my car and MANY Miata owners have said when the windshield on 2016+ Miata's are replaced the plastic garnish also need to be replace as the garnishes are a one time use due to clips breaking easily when garnish is being removed for a windshield repair. I told dons mobile glass this info before coming in, I mentioned it AGAIN to the tech when I brought the car in to have it assessed. Mentioned it to the front desk. But I'm no professional, just a customer and I get it they've been doing this for a while and have said they get Miata's ALL the time. They were confident it's the clips, so they went ordered clips. I made an appointment for them to apply the new clips. The clips arrived and i make it to my appointment. Jesus, tells me it's not the clips because he did the work on my car and was very sure he did not break any clips. He said it's the molding of the windshield and it needs to be fully re-done which will take 3hours therefore I needed make a NEW appointment. Mind you, I'm driving from the Bay Area 1-1.5hr away from Dons. This is my third time coming at this point and they want me to reschedule. I call Tiffany, I've been contact with her throughout the process and she is super sweet and takes pride in the work she does, she was able to get the staff to work on my car that day and I didn't have to make an appointment again. (Thank you! For checking on me and taking care of me.) Kevin was also super nice for dropping me off while my car was being worked on, and for picking me up! I get my car back, windshield replaced again, new clips are on. However, I start driving my car the next day on the way to work in the Bay Area. I hear some wind noise coming in and I'm telling myself it's just how it's suppose to sound since it's a convertible. NO! 10mins into the freeway and my garnish pops off. Which I have mentioned MULTIPLE times that if the garnishes are not replaced there is a chance the garnishes will fly off and could hit another driver. Thank god no one else was involved but YES THE GARNISH POPPED OFF and I luckily was able to pull over in the freeway before it flew out. I directly contacted my dealership and gave Tiffany an update. My dealership took care of me, towed my car and lent me a loaner. I unfortunately missed work that day! Also, I spoke with the manager Christine; she checked in on me before the garnish flew off. I told her my concerns regarding the clips and how it could fly off if the garnishes aren't replaced. But again she informed me that the clips are replaceable. I also emphasized how I did not want the clips to be GLUED as that is a temporary fix. Christine assured and promised me that Dons Mobile glass does not do that. In disappointment, when my garnish popped out, there was glue. (See picture) If you have a Miata and needs a windshield repair... depending on what year, just make sure you have new garnishes. This place is where you want to go if your in need of repairing a chip in your windshield. I called at 9 am and was able to secure an appointment for 3 pm that same day! I arrived at 2:45 pm to my scheduled appointment and at 3:02 they took my car in for the repair service. Talk about honoring their appointment time! They have free complimentary refreshments while you wait including water, sodas, granola bars, chip, etc. They thoroughly explained how to care for my windshield after the service was completed (no drive through car washes for two days). I checked in on Yelp and scored a free can of their professional glass cleaner! Sweet deal! Price was $59.99 but I bought the Groupon which had a sale so paid $33 and some change. The Groupon can be repurchased so if ever in need again this is the way I'll go for sure! Got a small chip in my windshield. Made an appointment with Don's mobile glass through my insurance to have it repaired and covered through my insurance. Come appointment time they completely no showed, no call, nothing. I had to go to work for a couple days after this and made the first appointment I could after work. By the time they showed up the small chip had spread across my entire windshield and now needs replacement. Instead of making it right and replacing my windshield since they were the ones that screwed up their scheduling, they offered a measly discount. They had the opportunity to do the right thing and refused. I talked to Mikayla, the assistant manager,on the phone and she couldn't be less helpful or polite. Bummer. Supposedly they were open but I couldn't get through to anyone. I had to take my truck to another place to have the windshield reinstalled. Replacing a simpler shower enclosure was seemed like it would be a huge problem, until I was referred to Don's by a handyman. We wanted to spruce up our 30 year old shower without a complete tear down and re-install. Don's made it easy - measure, fabricate and install. Daniel helped us work through out options and suggested significant improvements - a wider door and taller enclosure in the same space. It felt like a remodel! We had one hiccup - the replacement door as cut was an inch too narrow. Danial installed most of the the shower the first day, coordinated the recut, and finished the installation the following morning. Daniel minimized the impact of of the oops. However, a one day job turned into a two day job - hence the four stars. Would I use Don's Mobile with Daniel again? Absolutely! read more

Damaged our headliner, didn't notice for months because it was the back window that was replaced. Now liner is sagging, ripped, a piece our roof liner is broke off and looking so bad. Terrible customer service from the associate installing the glass. We live in a very small quiet court and we were told it was an unsafe location to install the car window. I offered to move the car in the drive way and he said no that he needed to call his boss to reschedule. Another associate came out and did the window himself.
