This restaurant just reopened with new management. It was actually our first time in and we had a great experience. We were greeted upon entering and Mara was our server. She was very attentive and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The ambience in the restaurant had a nicer upscale bar feel. Lots of TVs playing football throughout and Latin dance music was playing when we were there. Sound was perfect, not too loud as we were able to have a conversation. They have a great variety in their menu and fun cocktail drinks. We LOVED everything we got! Shared the Surf & Turf Molcajete which was a big portion. The flavors were pretty delish and shrimp was cooked perfectly. Not to mention it was beautiful presentation. Mangoneada was so tasty! I got it blended. Toxicata cocktail their take on the Adios drink And we got the churros - we asked for both the Marzipan and Cinnamon. They were tasty but I wouldn't say they tasted fresh or amazing. Loved the vanilla ice cream. We will definitely come back as it's a great place to have colorful cocktails and good food.

So 2 months ago I leave a review about how their hours are wrong on Yelp, Google & their website. I even took screenscrapes showing all 3 different hours. To this day, the hours are still wrong. You would think someone involved with this business, such as the owner, the GM, or even an employee would see this and say, shit, we need to fix this. But nope. Not TacosWay. This is why this place sucks. They just don't care about anything. And this just proves that.

Chips and salsa were served immediately and the salsa is more of a mild to medium spicy flavor was delicious

my husband and I went in for dinner tonight after not being here since they first opened. We did not like the food before because it was so spicy way too much for us. I was encouraged by the owner to give it a try again because they had revamped the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. It was not as spicy, but it was super flavorful. They have added a barria menu that is delicious. The service was great and the ambience was fun. I would encourage you to try it again if you haven't been for a while. Great value for the amount of food too!

Finally had time to carve out to give this place another whirl, since they reconstructed the staff and menu a few weeks ago. And mainly to support Heather who is one of the most amazing bartenders around. Not even kidding. She is great at perfecting cocktails, they're never too strong never too sweet never to anything they're perfect. And her and Brandon tonight were Rockstars with our party of eight at the bar! The food was kick ass, so flavorful. Before this myself included, but many people thought the salsa here was made out of a can, I am here to tell you that the salsa is very very good and full of roasted pepper flavor. I would absolutely recommend this place, and I plan to frequent here more often.

Forget about what you heard. Tacos Way has the best drinks and vibe in Placentia. We sat at the bar and tried the Gauva and Tamarindo margaritas, margarita flight, the mezcal and whiskey old fashioned, the pineapple and mezcal margaritas, and the micheladas. The michelada mix, as well as the cucumber and Tamarindo purées are made by Cristian - an extremely talented bartender who works Friday evenings and brunch hours. Unlimited mimosas available for 90 minutes during weekend brunch hours ($23). DJ spins reggaeton and modern hip hop Friday evenings and during brunch hours. HH offered M-F from 2pm-6pm with $8 margs and $5 shots. We shared the molcajete, which was spicy and delicious. Service was top notch. We were constantly checked on. I will definitely become a regular here!

This place is way better than the last place that was in this shopping center. Stopped by today to see if they have Taco Tuesday and they do! Beer was $3.50 tacos $1.85 from 3-6pm on Tuesdays. Another cool thing is they have a DJ on weekends and some nights. I am 100% coming back to this place. Don't listen to the reviews talking trash on this place. They sound like people who live near by who are upset by it's success. I live 2 blocks away and am so happy I finally came by. My new hangout. Food quality is also great. I tried Al pastor, chicken, carne asada, carnitas. The chips are homemade daily and you can taste the difference. Modelo on draft with a fresh squeezed lime. Thank you Tacos Way for the Bomblicious food.

I just want to thank Wendy my server for making me and my boyfriend feel comfortable and happy. The food was delicious. Worth every penny. I would recommend coming on Mondays because you get 50% off drinks but I'm not sure if it's for all drinks. I ordered a cucumber Margarita and nd my boyfriend ordered a michelada both were incredibly delicious and a great large size. The food and the drink presentations were beautiful and perfect. The ambiance and decor is great, especially for date night or just getting together with friends. There's plenty of bar seating. There's a patio in the front and a patio in the back. The service was fast, fun and friendly. I recommend coming to this place especially if you're a young adult or just in your forties like me. I wouldn't recommend children to come. It's more of a grown up vibe. I like it!. The place is clean, well maintained. Spring is here pretty much so definitely think about this place for spring break drinks.

I'm New to the area, and it's my 1st time in the TacosWay restaurant. I was greeted with smiles at the door and immediately seated; the atmosphere was laid back with the right amount of volume to the music. Fresh guacamole with homemade chips, tacosway tacos, and Ceviche was very flavorful. The margaritas were outstanding; I had a few plus some shots, which made the evening fantastic, I am looking forward to a return trip or even doing some takeout.

I've watched it poured straight into a regular pint glass with no 45-degree angle and no pause for the proper two-step pour. It comes out flat, with barely any creamy head, which completely changes the texture and experience. Guinness isn't just another draft beer; it needs to settle, and it should be served in a proper tulip or Guinness glass to get that classic presentation. The fix is simple: slow the pour down and train the staff on the traditional method. The pub has the vibe. Now it just needs to respect the pint.

We've had Chapter 4 on our list for a while. A very positive review from a Yelp friend bumped it to…read morethe top of the list, and we visited recently. It is located in downtown Fullerton, next to the Les Amis Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant. Look for the entrance on the west side of the building with a red entrance and Chapter 4 projection logo on the sidewalk. You can make a reservation on their website. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Seating options include tall chairs at the bar, low booths along the front wall across from the bar, and various tables in the main lounge area. All of the chairs look very comfortable. We sat in one of the booths across from the bar. It has a great vibe inside with a dark ceiling and walls, and is lit on the dimmer side. There was light lounge/soft jazz music playing when we visited. They also have live jazz music on some nights. A bowl of nuts, water, and menus arrived quickly. They have a great menu of house-curated cocktails, their spins on classic cocktails, and a large list of whiskeys and other spirits. They also have several food items on the menu. They have private liquor lockers available to store personal bottles for members Before I continue, I have to say that JC, one of the owners, who greeted us and was our server all evening, provided outstanding hospitality. While researching their bar menu online, we saw the cloud cocktail which had a very unique presentation with a burning ember cloud-like display. We came for my girlfriend's birthday, and she knew that would be her first drink. Unfortunately when we tried to order it, they were out of the gas for it. We noticed that the physical menu was a little different than the online menu. Apparently they had just changed the menu and had not updated the website yet. She wanted the Dirty Dill which wasn't on the new cocktail menu, but they were still able to make it. Dirty Dill (Gin, Vodka, Lemon, Pickle Juice, Olive Juice, Milk Washed & Clarified, $19). We could smell pickle on the nose, but when we took a sip, it was very boozy with little pickle or olive flavor. We asked if they could add some more pickle juice, and JC brought us a big shot glass of pickle juice so she could adjust it to her liking. She liked it once she added some more pickle juice. I started out with the Cococacaocoladaclara cocktail (Cacao-Infused Rum, Orange Liquor, Pineapple & Lime Juice, Coconut Milk Clarified, $18). This wasn't quite what I was expecting, and I had a hard time picking out the flavors. It was definitely strong and boozy. We were finishing our first round when we spotted JC walking towards our table with a cloud! He managed to find whatever it takes to make the effect, and we were very appreciative. I have seen a lot of presentations, and this was definitely a unique one. The birthday shot was very good, and he said the ingredients were mezcal, lavender, and lemon. Old Fashioneds have been growing on me lately. After the great presentation of the cloud, I had to try the Sinatra Old Fashioned (Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select, one dash of chocolate Bitters, $40). It is served in a rotating crystal glass, lit from underneath, with a clear ice sphere. Again, the presentation was great, and it was the smoothest old fashioned I've ever had. She had her eye on the Tuk Tuk for her second drink (Coconut Fat Washed Rum, Supasawa, Pandan Syrup, Mango Syrup, Rice Garnish, $18). She asked if it was very sweet, and he said that it was indeed quite sweet. Instead, she opted for the Firefox (Vodka, Pomegranate, Lemon, Vanila, Rose Liquor, Cherry Bitters, $18). Once again, this cocktail had a great presentation. It's served in a short, wide glass that sits perfectly on top of a piece of petrified-looking wood. You hold the glass with both hands and sip it like a bowl of soup. It was very balanced and smooth, with a nice tartness and light sweetness. JC stopped by again to check on our second round. A few minutes later he surprised us again, and returned with shot sized versions of the Tuk Tuk to sample. It was definitely on the sweeter side with good coconut and pandan flavor. We probably would have tried a third round, but we had dinner and a drink before coming here. Their menu of house-curated cocktails is impressive, and features many uncommon ingredients. We had a good time, but JC went the extra mile for us all night long and made it a great time. We will definitely return again.

There are a lot of bars in the area, but Chapter 4 is a touch classier, offering craft cocktails in a smaller, intimate setting. Service is overall very nice. The servers check up on you often and are friendly. The ambiance is moody, and on a cold winter night, feels warm and inviting. For regular patrons, lockers are available to store your personal collection of spirits, so that you may enjoy your favorite brews in the atmosphere of Chapter 4. We visited right in time for their winter seasonal menu. The Candlelight Confession from this menu is delicious, and served with a torched marshmallow. From their signatures, I really enjoyed La Peligrosa, a tequila based cocktail that was floral and refreshing. My drink of choice recently, however, has been a Pornstar Martini. I asked the bartender if he could make one for me, and he just happened to have the ingredients necessary. So he did :) It was really good.  I enjoyed myself so much on my first visit that I invited more of my friends to come the following Friday. There were 7 of us total. It was a tight squeeze, but they were able to fit us all at a table. I'm very grateful to the staff for accommodating us, but I definitely would recommend visiting with a smaller party. There was live music that night with a trumpet player, livening up the air with jazz music. We had Pornstar Martinis again, which were amazing. I also dabbled in their whiskey cocktails as those are their specialty. The High Society was quite the showstopper, arriving at our table topped with a woolen cloud set ablaze. The way the embers danced was nothing short of magic. Removing the cloud revealed a wispy layer of smoke, which was both captivating and added depth to the drink. The rye whiskey was smooth and palatable, with a steady warmth as opposed to a harsh burn and flavored by cherry bitters. I don't usually drink darks, but this was very enjoyable. I also took the opportunity to sample the Démodé, Chapter 4's take on an Old Fashioned, garnished with an orange peel and a Luxardo cherry. Like the High Society, the whiskey was smooth and enjoyable to sip over time.  I love Chapter 4. The drinks are palatable and interesting. The staff is welcoming and kind. The atmosphere is classy, yet laid back and cozy. In a downtown district filled with sports bars and pubs (which can be fun), Chapter 4 is my calm eye of the storm, a place to sit, relax, and enjoy the night with well crafted drinks and conversation.

Parking: I had no problem finding parking spot as the lot is huge and shared with many other businesses. Interior: We were seated right away without any wait time as we arrived when they just opened. We were seated in a dark area of the restaurant (think bar vibe) so I was a little not sure at first. Most brunch places I went to were always filled with sunlight and bright colorful interiors. This place embraced a classic, quiet feel, something like a Steak House would have. Service: Our server's name was Susan I believe, who was nice and attentive through the whole meal, despite the crowd slowly built up and filled the restaurant. She never failed to check back on us, not just once but twice and refilled our water. She probably isn't as familiar with the brunch menu favorites but seem to know more about the Main menu. The General Manager came out and greeted us because most of their customers are regulars and it's uncommon to have first timers like us visiting. This nice hospitality made us feel very warmly welcomed and impressed. Food: I couldn't decide whether to go with the Slow braised beef on the brunch menu (braised beef benedict) or the main menu but ended up going with the Main menu to get a good portion size. It was a perfect choice because the beef is just amazing. It was cooked to a soft perfection, well seasoned, the roasted vegetable was also cooked just right and not super raw/ crunchy like other places. Then the star of the show arrived - the butter cake. As Susan suggested, this is their most popular dessert and I can see why. The butter cake comes piping hot with the ice cream on top. There's a nice sugar crunchy feel near the bottom of the cake. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat this cake. We had a great time overall and would love to come back.

Unfortunately, this place is like the black and white version of an infomercial where everything is broken and doesn't work as it should. We came here for a bday party on a busy Sunday. It was pretty busy so I didn't even mind that it took a while to get a beer and even longer to go a cheese pizza. The bigger issue was the arcade, if you can even call it that. There are machines but they're broken and in some cases, literally broken into. Even the play-until-you-win machine was so depleted of prizes that the claw couldn't reach down to where the ducks were. Kids quickly come back disappointed and without any prizes. That is, after they were done literally climbing inside the basketball game like an episode of Lord of the Flies, with no supervision in sight. When I tried to bring it to the attention of the staff they informed me that this area was "unmanned." I ended up just tipping the machine to get a .25 squishy when I saw the claw was never going to reach down far enough. Sorry not sorry. It was raining outside, which also meant that it was raining from the ceiling, there was standing water in the bathroom near the toilet and the floor of the entire establishment made shoes stick to the floor like a downtown club at 4am. The overall lack of cleanliness has me regretting eating the pizza and drinking beer from the taps. Goodness knows how often they get around to cleaning this stuff. I have no interest in returning here to pay $20/pitcher for this.
