We've been to this Taco Mac for several years now, always on the way home from sporting events at Georgia or Clemson, as it's on the way back to Atlanta. The service is always satisfactory and the food average, but it's a perfect place to watch multiple sporting events, as ample TV circle the restaurants. As with most Taco Mac locations, the food is a step up from Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, but you sacrifice the scenery you get at Hooters. Which is more important to you, is you're choice, of course. Taco Mac's beer menu stands tall with them all, however. Fortunately, this place is equally family friendly and inviting to those looking to drink for hours while watching games. I'd pass on the fajitas, but all the burgers and wraps are good, as are the nachos, wings and chips and salsa. If you come with the idea of watching games and making food taste better with alcohol here, you can't lose. read more

Our group event, which brought dozens of well-tipping patrons on a weeknight every month, was treated with hour-long wait times, incorrect reservations, repeated issues with our orders. Legit. The only reason I keep ordering from them is the hours they keep and the area I live only has BS fast food and chain restaurants that give you heart attacks. That being said they almost always get my sh!t wrong in some way, but by the time I get home I'm to tired to cook and they're the only ones open on Uber eats. More like Taco Wack than Taco Mac. Lemon Pepper wings were plain, looked barely cooked, no flavor at all. Buffalo hot were burnt and covered with a sweet hot sauce. Attempted to eat them; however, the char flavor on the Buffalo hot was too much and again, the lemon pepper were soo bland. Service not up to par to say the least. While being seated, observed eye rolling and a nod to another employee...not sure what that was about. It was a Thursday evening, not speaking about the entire staff or all experiences, this was my 2nd and more than likely, my last at this location. After going to this restaurant multiple.times in the last four months the kitchen and service has been slow and almost.like the customer was an inconvenience to them. Warning up front... if you have a group (fellow softball team members, soccer team, social group) don't waste your time or money on this franchise! According to the general/area manager, you are a "major inconvenience to them"!!! We've been coming here with a group of friends every few weeks since the COVID restrictions were lifted. The group was usually 25-40 people. Would always let them know days in advance how many would be coming in. Initially they were welcoming and they would set up an area for all of us to sit. My initial complaint was that mgmt never would staff up to handle the group. Tonight was no exception. The group had a start time of 7pm...but a good # of folks usually come in a little early so that they could get food/drinks ordered. In the past that worked well as the kitchen wouldn't be inundated a ton of orders at one time and the food & drinks came out in a timely manner. Over time, delays in getting food got considerably worse. Tonight had to be one of the worst dining experiences ever. No one was allowed to be seated until 7pm. And then only one wait person was assigned (thrown under the bus by the manager on duty). Took them over two hours to get everyone's food out. We never got our full order. Come on... this is a basic sports bar fare!!! Wings, hamburgers, etc. Manager did not seem to care one bit. Was very unprofessional in his demeanor. It'd be one thing I'd the group I attend with was rowdy, rude or obnoxious... but they're not... and never caused any issues in the restaurant. But the attitude of the management was that groups are not welcome. I do not plan on patronizing any Taco Macs after the poor experiences here. I really have no complaints with the service. Our waitress was prompt and kind and the food came out quickly. I am a vegan so I ordered the black bean burger and my roommates got wings. A few of the orders were wrong, but they ate them anyway. After getting home, one of my roommates became terrible sick from food poisoning after eating the wings. I really hope they look into what's causing this because I have read other reviews complaining about food poisoning as well. Until then, we'll probably stay away. read more

I can only speak to the bar service and a few appetizers. I came here with a group of people to have afternoon drinks and snacks. Service was great - our waitress was very attentive and kept our glasses full. There are so many beers on tap! We ordered an appetizer with fried treats. I only tried the fried pickles. They were entire dill spears, which we were not expecting, and somewhat greasy. However, the dipping sauce was good and my friends enjoyed the other fried treats that came in that basket. So I love taco mac. The one in Duluth is top notch. We have been to this one or ordered from a few times hoping to have the same. But they fry fish with all other items so onion rings and chicken taste like fish. I have had them make food multiple times in correctly and they also put tarter sauce in place of ranch. Once again, I've had a chance to check out one of the many Taco Mac, or now "T.Mac," locations in their vast empire of wings and exhaustive beer selections. Business as usual -- slammed on a Saturday night, kids running around everywhere, sports from around the world on the many televisions, and a few birthday parties. The food was great, per usual, and the service was great. Never anything wrong in either of those departments. My only criticisms are that of the hostess and and the general cleanliness of the restaurant. When we walked up to the host stand with our beeper, the girl was ready to lead us to our table. I asked if we could sit in a booth so my wife could a bit more comfortable (she was 38 weeks pregnant at the time) and she paused and sighed for a moment. There were 2 booths open in the same section and her response was laden with attitude -- "Well, THAT server just had two tables seated so you'll probably have to wait. But just take your menus and sit there if you'd like." No big deal. But hey, how about a "Sure! It may just be another few minutes for your server to get there. Is that ok, folks?" Also, the place seemed pretty under-staffed for a Saturday. So many un-bussed tables and the floors were pretty grimy. It was a bit slippery on my way out through the dining area. Here's the problem...and my opinion; They have a sign up front that says you cannot bring any type of weapon inside. Even those with a concealed carry permit. The Constitution of the United States of America says I can own a firearm. Taco Mac says I can't bring it in. And this politically correct, trendy, gutless, and un-American policy after Columbine high school, Virginia Tech, Newtown, Aurora, and countless other places that are 'gun free zones'.. The sign should say; 'Criminals...we have no means of defending ourselves, so come on in...no one will stop you.' When they get robbed, shot, and tv crews and the media report it all. We sat and it took a while for our server to find us. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. She said she would be right out with the drinks. She took FOREVER. A few minutes later, she brought our food. Nothing was hot, which means it was ready a while before and just sat in the kitchen. She brought the fresh, hit items to us and said she would bring me a fresh soda. After 20 minutes, I called the restaurant and the manager ended up coming to outlet table. Still no server. Just a group of people sitting neslxt to us yelling profanity for quite a while. It took another while for her to bring us the check. Then another 6 minutes to come get my credit card. Then we had to wait another 8 minutes to bring me the receipt and my card back. The food was good, once we got all the hit stuff, but the service was down right pathetic. I know there is a shortage of help, but in her case, but she spent more time socializing with her friends. She did end up spending 15 minutes talking to her friends who were using loud profanity instead of getting my soda refill. This was one of my worst experiences ever at a Taco Mac. I am unsure if I will ever return to this location, as well as be able to refer it to any of my customers. read more

I like this place because I can get there without much of a highway hassle and I can leave with little DUI worry. There's a good chance I'll be able to watch UFC, Chelsey Football and The Falcons (of course)...and there's never a shortage of cute 25+ish women, a plus for the recently single. The famed Taco Mac of Atlanta. My brother has been regaling me with tales of their beer selection for years, and only recently did I get to indulge and experience it for myself! No food on this outing, only beer. The variety of draft and bottle is astonishing, and the organization of their list is note-worthy. I even took a copy of their beer menu home it was so great! The beers are great, and the service was primo. Unfortunately I live out in Cali, and Taco Mac is sooooo far away. A group of 6 adults and 2 children dined last night, my order of 6 wings crispy with french fries arrived cold. Others at the table stated their food also was cold. The waiter took my order back and after about 20 minutes arrived with a new hot order. BUT, the kitchen must have said "lets get this guy" the fries were so covered with salt and pepper they were un-eatable. Just before we left a waitress dropped a bottle of salsa which "flew" onto people at 3 different tables, some got it on the head. Came to have dinner with my family at around 11pm...we waited in the hostess stand to be seated for about 10 or more minutes. There was no wait at all...when a server came he told us the grill was down with & they only had one cook and we said it was fine if we could please be seated. Horrible customer service and poor management! Went to Taco Mac on Wednesday. It was national wing day. We made a reservation at 5pm. Recieved a message saying 15 to 20 minutes. Which is fine. We arrive at 5:15pm. There is a HUGE line waiting for togo. We spoke with Kaylee the hostess. She informed us due to togo it would be another 15 minutes beyond our orignal 515 to 520 time. We said that is fine we completely understand. We go to the bar and order drinks. The bar is completely packed with people who are campers with laptops, and regulars and are not going anywhere anytime soon. We wait the 15 minutues and go back to the hostess stand. She now informs us it will be another 30 minutes. So it is now going to be 50 minutes past our orignal time. We look around and there are plenty of tables available. We were with other people so we didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes. Now because of covin they have set up every other table for seating. We asked if we could sit at a table so we could order drinks possibly an appetizer while waiting for wings. They said they could not sit us because that is for dine in patrons and they were backed up an hour now from the 50 minutes we were already waiting. That there was too many to go orders and the kitchen was backed up. We waited another 15 minutes then my wife went up and asked about our table and the hostess quickly responded with probally not for us getting sat. My wife came back upset and i went and asked for the manager. while waiting for the manager spoke with people in the togo line who go their food at 615 and ordered at 530. 15 minutes after we were suppose to be sat orignally. Are we to assume that to go is more important than in dining patrons?. Spoke with manager, Anthony. Very rude and that there was nothing he could do to accommodate us. His management And customer service was very poor. He informed us that we could just leave. He hasbad communication with his hosteses and stuck them under the bus with the task of misinforming customers. After being treated so horribly I don't know if we would come back Which is a shame because we like taco Mac food and are part of the brew University. They have lagers, pilsners, IPAs, lights, darks, and so many bottled beers you can spend a solid afternoon studying their beer menu. Want a suggestion? Try one of four or five local SweetWaters they have on draft or one of several varieties of Terrapin (you know, the beer with a cool turtle). They also carry Shock Top and Purple Haze and Kaho beer from Hawaii! Don't forget to ask your sever about signing up for the frequent beer drinkers list. You know you want to show your grandmom the shirt that confirms you're a worldly beer connoisseur. The food is decent, but it's only slightly better than your usual bar far, a step above wings & burgers (they ask how you want your burger cooked- so see? A step up). The wing sauces are limited to 5 or 6 choices and they all pretty much taste the same. Appetizers should be a home run, beer and bar fare right? But besides the chips and salsa, everything has cheese in it. The onion rings are decent, but I've had better. The batter is too heavy with breading and could really use a good beer-batter recipe to make it a home run for me. As a final note, being a Braves fan is really a must, they're ads and logo are everywhere- even on your servers shirts. Oh, and I saw some kids in there- really, I did. It was game night. 49ers VS Seahawks. Bestie loves her beer + wings + tacos + football, so naturally she always chooses this Taco Mac for her annual night. We kicked back with some brews, watched the game on any of the insanely abundant number of big screen televisions they have, and had a blast catching up. I was personally more interested in watching the hockey game, but don't tell anyone that. ;) The beers were solid and the food was on point. Most of the December beers were out (what?) but everyone found a couple to throw back. Wings tasted better next day, though I wish they still had their old lemon pepper wing sauce instead of their dry rub. Service wasn't great, as we had the oldest server we've ever had (anywhere). He was nice, but didn't move too fast and he often forgot things. One of my closest buddies lost his Brewniversity cards, so our server tried to look him up in the system. Fail. He had to start a new account and he had nearly 120 points. Too bad. Looks like a slurred, stumbling, double vision future for him! Parking is pretty tight, so if you're paranoid about that kind of thing, park at the end of the mall lot. The spaces are bigger and it's not that far away.
