Sweetie Asian heat for my oldest (boneless), reg buffalo for my youngest (bone in traditional all flats) and I get the honey chipotle (bone in traditional all flats). We probably eat at one or the other taco mac locations at least once a week. In general it is a relaxed place with more then just wings on the menu. they have a full bar, lots of TVs for sports (and they have TVs running chive tv too), and the service is generally pretty good. Their queso can be too thick and once it sits for just a bit gets too hard... their cheese sticks are pretty good, the crispy chicken tacos are great when they are on, and they usually have a nonalcoholic beer of some sort. I've been to many taco Mac locations but I brought some old colleagues here and they were very excited about the opportunity. I brought two former colleagues here to see if they would like to enjoy the evening. Since they're from the Asheville NC area. The service was fantastic. Our first time to this location. First... there was no outdoor seating at this location. It was a beautiful night and we sat inside. Boo. Second...I have had these nachos about 5 other times. This order was soooo runny I could not keep the yummy on my chip. It just fell off. Every other time I've ordered this the cheese dip has been much thicker. Very disappointed as I was really looking forward to my nachos. Third... the wings were good, but maybe slightly overcooked. They were not served saucy, which is what my husband likes. The place itself looked really nice and the staff was friendly and welcoming, so I was expecting a good experience. Unfortunately, the food completely ruined it. The chicken wings were severely undercooked, with visibly pink/raw meat near the bone. After noticing it, I obviously couldn't continue eating. Serving chicken like this is a serious food safety concern and something that should never make it out of the kitchen. It's disappointing because the atmosphere and service were good, but undercooked chicken is a dealbreaker for me. I definitely won't be returning. read more

Taco Mac, a great name, why only 3 stars? Likely the same reason I am leaving 3 stars. The food was very tasty, we ordered the blazing chicken wrap with tots and she had the grilled salmon with brussel sprouts. We both enjoyed our meals, very tasty and cooked perfectly. Our waitress did a good job throughout our visit. Where they failed, the host and a waitress taking care of a 4 top at the entry right by the host stand. While the people sitting there should likely learn some eating out skills and not let their baby shreik throughout their meal. I get it, it was aggravating sitting next to people who care so little for anyone around them but, they left their go box on the table when they left along with a trashed table and floor around them. The waitress handed the host the box, he shook it vigorously to destroy the contents and then through it in the trash, as they both laughed. News flash, customers are watching you act so childish. This was very dissapointing to see such inmature behavior. Despite them not being busy at all, everyone who came into the restaurant had to wait an unacceptable amount of time to be greeted including us. In fact, one waitress went over and sat a group of 4 that the young host talked to and then walked away without seating them, came back a while later only to see they had already been seated. I saw no manager walking around like I remember being part of the service structure here or I would have told them on the spot. This is likely why this location only receives 3 stars with very tasty food. What a shame. read more

This used to be my favorite spot to get a burger because they had decent prices and specials. Now, you can't get a burger here for under $14 and that's just wrong. Too bad, because I liked all their specialty burgers and the meat to cheese ratio is perfect. The service is always great, but I just can't afford to eat here anymore. Ordered take away for lunch - ordering via the website is easy and painless. They also make your food way quicker than advertised! Was told it would be a 25-35 minute wait, but when I got there in 10 minutes it was already ready. Taco Mac is well known for its wings but unfortunately they were below average and disappointing. Sauces had a flat taste (bbq and spicy mango), and the chicken itself was flavourless, like it hadn't been brined or seasoned at all. The fries were incredible, love the seasoning on it. Was hoping for better for the wings and maybe a slight concern that the food seemed to be ready before I even got there. Staff was super nice and prompt, even with a busy lunch pickup rush. Restaurant was fairly empty, though of course it was a weekday lunch. Place is plastered with TVs if you want to have lunch and have Pat McAfee yell at you during it. Listen mane, The food was good imo. My order for the most part was correct minus the blue cheese but it wasn't that deep cuz I was drunk. Our waiter tho even tho he was fine shyt he was not very attentive nor did he check up on us enough. My friend with a cilantro allergy nearly died bc she asked for no cilantro on her tacos yet they still had some. She waited over 15 minutes for Brodie to come back and he never did so she had to pick them out. He came back like 30 minutes into it and asked if everything was good and my friend with the cilantro said nah it's horrible and he just laughed and walked away. She accidentally ate some cilantro tho and her throat started to get itchy. He was attentive to other tables but he barely checked up on us. The server embarrassed waited on tables all around ours and never came back to check on us or offer an apology. We tried to not make it a big deal since things happen at times and every table was looking and laughing at what happened to us. Needless to say my drink was empty for most of my meal and I sit the glass in a conspicuous place on the table and pushed it slightly toward our not so server as she helped other tables and refilled their drinks. My brother asked for some hot sauce for his tacos when they brought the food. He had to ask the manager at the host stand if he could bring some to him since he ask for it before the spilled covered my wife and the table. We had to actually stop the server to ask for the checks. We had three checks in our party and she brought it as one. We had to stop her again to get it split. We don't go out looking for a free meal but when the crap hits the fan and one of the managers says the store manager would stop by, you sometimes expect a little something....... I'm sorry this happened to you, please let me know if the stain doesn't come out of your white shirt, I would like to comp your meal or here is a coupon for an appetizer on your next vist.....something, but not tonight. I was just going to pay the bill and leave. My brother however ask the server when she returned that he thought they should do something for my wife since she had gotten soaked. The server took the check and went to the bar area and spoke with a lady who look annoyed at the request. The server returned with the check $38 and I can't remember the cents. I give a $100 bill and the server ask if I needed change??? Yes, I need change please was my response. She brings me back $60 (2-$20 and 2-$10). What the hell is up with these younger kids not able to count.... If you can't make change the restaurant takes the hit not the customer. I should have gotten back $61 and change. I guess since I didn't give her a $61 dollar tip she wanted $10 dollars. When i get good service even when it's busy I tip well above the 20% mark. If she would have apologized and worked to make it as right as she could have I would have tipped her well. I get it sometimes you have a bad day. Even the worst service gets 15% and a talk with the manager about our experience. Did I mention the store manager never came over to say anything to us!!!!! That's bad for business!!!!!! One last thing I hate to bring up...... right before we asked for the check our server was bringing drinks to the table beside us and she spilled another drink. She wad having a worst night ever. The reason I bring it up we had to tell one of the hosts if they could let someone know there was another spill before someone slipped and fell. My brother took our wet floor sign over to the spill to mark it. I'm a safety manager and this wouldn't fly at my work, although I'm not in the service industry this was a total disregard for Slip Trip and Fall hazards and if someone would have fallen it would have landed square on the store managers hands. Needless to say that GA and GA Tech were on during our visit. It can be loud in restaurants i get it. Did I say I'm a safety manager? I wish I had a certified noise dosimerter last night. I have one downloaded on my phone and it's close but not certified. I'm around loud noises every day at work and I can say the tv's were load enough that hearing protection was needed. My phone was reading between 89 to 91 decibels. OSHA says I have to provide ear plugs to workers when the sound is at or above 85 decibels. Taco Mac at the Mall of Ga will not be getting anymore of my money. The food there is good and we will have to pick another location if we choose Taco Mac again. I'm sure nobody from Taco Mac MOG cares or they would have apologized for how there restaurant performed last night. read more

Taco Mac has numerous locations in and around metro Atlanta and one of the best beer selections of any place we've patronized. Most have 100 taps, not including the cans & bottles. Good food...LOTS of TV's for sports, great family atmosphere and great servers. We think Taco Mac pretty much has it all. read more

First thing I want to say is, F the server who denied me a table in his section, because I'm eating alone. Dude. It was so funny because that table didn't get filled until I left. Seems the reviews on here are quite old so thought I'd update mine to show my appreciation for taco Mac, they're great wings burgers Phillycheese but mostly their selection of beer and large screens when we have games to watch now. Came today to celebrate my father's birthday as we lost him 10 years ago so I'll break one rule here by ordering a gray goose martini , dirty and then get to the tremendous beer selection. Other than this being a sports bar with many TVs, their food has consistently got addictive and quite tasty over the years. Their wings are the best around as well as I always get great service at the bar or a booth or table. Their burgers are great, philly cheese, BBQ, hot fries... great pub food. Servers had masks but when crowded to dine in or pick up- many people don't practice to wear a mask but I do, Im safe, I felt safe so still coming here. The beers are the catch. 300 to select, keep the glass on Thursday always adds to my collection. Great selection and always enjoy bringing my boys (college) for a game or just wings or a good lunch. Great staff and atmosphere for watching a game or enjoying a beer with a friend. I have always been very impressed with the beer selection which rotates often and is pretty extensive on tap and beer in can and bottle.
