But from the moment our waiter came to the table, his attitude was rude and unprofessional. He asked if we were ready to order and then bluntly told us that everyone was waiting for us. While taking our order, I asked a simple question about whether the rotisserie chicken pizza had cheese on it. Instead of just answering, he responded sarcastically, basically saying, "Yes, it says it right on the menu. Look." That set the tone for the rest of the meal. We ordered the rotisserie chicken pizza and an artichoke pizza. The chicken pizza arrived within about five minutes and was only warm, while the second pizza came roughly 20 minutes later piping hot. I can't say what happened with the first pizza, but the difference was noticeable like it was from a cancelled order or something. The worst part came near the end. The waiter brought our check while we were still eating, then started abruptly clearing plates from the table even though we had not finished. It felt like he was trying to push us out as quickly as possible. I don't expect over-the-top service, especially near closing time, but I do expect basic courtesy. Customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience simply because the staff wants to go home. The nursery and olive oil tasting were great, but the waiter completely changed our impression of the place. What could have easily been a 5-star visit turned into a very disappointing experience because of the way we were treated. Because of that rude waiter I'm giving 1 star, only because there is no option for zero!
