Bag of Chips

Food is pretty consistent! Can't go wrong with a breakfast burrito. Adalberto's is always a classic go-to for me when it comes to their breakfast burritos and nachos. I've been here a few times and the food is just as I remember: well seasoned, large portions, and fresh. I always can taste everything in the burrito, so I'm happy to have that mesh of flavors. If you go to eat inside, just be aware that the chips are under a heat lamp, so there's a possibility that they can be stale. They were stale twice. HOWEVER, I did go through the drive thru a few times and those chips were not stale. Not sure if it comes from a different batch, or if just luck. The inside is what you expect: minimal decor and just find a place to sit and eat. When I've went to eat in, sometimes a table wouldn't be cleared out until I've already ate through half my meal, even though it's not super busy. Just be aware. I've always found a place to sit. Service is always great- You can't get the green sauce at the salsa bar and you have to ask them. They have no problem with providing extra salsa. This place always hits the spot. It's pretty consistent- except for the chips and the cleanliness inside.

Cheese quesadilla w/ side of rice & beans :)

Super stoked with my experience here today-- I don't go regularly but when I do I usually get a cheese quesadilla with rice and beans the lady that helped me let me know to order the burrito combo and say cheese quesadilla instead since that saves me almost $10, No one ever told me that before so now I'll be saving more money since I know now she didn't have to let me know but she did and I am so grateful, cuz everything really is expensive:)

Chili rellenos plate

I've been going here for over 5 years and have always had delicious food. The #24 breakfast burrito is one of my favorites. Had most items on the menu. The chicken enchiladas are stuffed full of shredded chicken. The red sauce is fabulous. Pictured is the chili rellenos plate with beans and rice. The rice is fluffy, the rellenos are stuffed full of cheese and the Pasilla peppers are nicely golden. Service is simple and friendly, ambience is simple too. All you can chips and homemade fresh pico de gallo, with marinated jalapeno peppers and sliced carrots.

We walked in although we did notice the drive thru option. Inside was quaint with a few tables. Irene was very warm and friendly. She took our order at the register. We ordered super nachos with carne asada and super burrito with carnitas and an extra large horchata to share:) we were curious about the churros filled with caramel or vanilla and she gave us a complimentary churro to try. And it was so good! We will definitely be back.

Great Mexican food fast. Love the burritos, tacos & beef rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. Including a recent drive thru menu.

7.20.23 My daughter wanted Carne Asada fries

This place is always convenient for late night eats, drive thru customer service is always great when I seldomly come here for orders and they always provide all the sauces for your meal. I use to ALWAYS order their Carne Asada fries. Their California burrito was soO good too. I decided to try their shrimp burrito. It was pretty good! I think the only draw back I wish they did was de-vain the shrimp. Other than that the flavors was on point! Love the mixture between the rice, the sauces inside with the tortilla. My kids ordered chicken chimichanga and Carne Asada fries so I just shared a little with them, since I had my shrimp burrito. Definitely a great place to go to for your late night cravings or when U just need a place to eat, this is the spot to go to! Will not disappoint!

During that time, they served me a glass of water and I quickly ordered the BBQ Chicken sandwich - I had looked at the menu earlier - with a side of fruit. The sandwich was really great! They served the sandwich with the grilled, chicken breast, bacon, and BBQ sauce with the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the side. I'm not a fan of onions, so I did not have those, but it was nice to have the lettuce and the tomatoes have that nice taste when it hasn't been smothered in BBQ sauce or others as it's being cooked by the chicken like other places prepare them. I honestly left satisfied. This place really did live up to the recommendations and reputation it has. Our gym, Positive Impact Fitness always talks about this place and it was really worth it. The Owner's Yelp business description states they "specialize in breakfast", which sounded awesome. Reviews and photos looked so promising. Our experience was nothing like what others have shared though :( The space is nice and spacious, with an old school vibe which we liked, and we were so hopeful upon entering for the first time. Service was polite enough...but felt insincere and disinterested in taking good care of the customer. The one employee who I felt actually cared was the hostess, but the waitstaff seem to just be going through the motions. We shared it was our first time coming and we were excited to treat ourselves to a rare breakfast out. We needed a few extra minutes to study the menu since it was our first visit, but then we got forgotten about. I attempted to catch the waitresses attention numerous times with no success. After waiting about ten minutes longer than was reasonable, I did seek out the hostess's help in tracking down someone who could take our order. She was super apologetic, but of course it wasn't her job as she was busy seating people and handling her own tasks. The biggest disappointment was the food - in looking back at the photos the French toast we ordered looked nothing like the photos - first, when I asked what the difference between the 1/2 and full order was we were told it was 4 slices vs. 6 slices. That definitely seemed to justify the price so we ordered a half order for my young boy and I to share. What came out was shockingly different - it was two tiny slices of bread that looked like the inexpensive sliced grocery store bread. Because it was already small thinly sliced bread before being cooked, it was truly tiny once plated. We were honestly surprised they felt comfortable serving it. Maybe they ran out of their thick large French toast bread? No matter, they certainly shouldn't have served what we received though. It was confusing and embarrassing, IMO. So, we were misinformed that it was a 4 slice portion when it was 2 small thin slices of bread cut in half...that is not 4 slices of French toast. And then the waitress didn't come around our entire meal so I couldn't inquire about it until we were done. I ended up giving the French toast to my boy who ate it all in under 120 seconds, no joke (because there wasn't much to eat) and then he said he was still hungry. I, too, was quite hungry. Other family members agreed that the taste was good, but nothing special, and the servings did not match the high prices. So, the food was tasty enough but the portions were unreasonably small and do not justify the price, the service lacks greatly, and the misinformation was truly disappointing and misleading. When I did politely ask at the end about why she said it was 4 slices vs. 6 slices the waitress backpedaled stating she meant it was 4 halves vs. 6 halves...and then she apologized that we were leaving hungry and offered me a biscuit. ??? Why would I want a biscuit? I just wanted the meal the waitress told me I was ordering. I wanted what some previous customers have shared in their photos here. The French toast in the photos here on Yelp looks legit and exactly what we wanted and expected...again, so odd the kitchen staff felt comfortable plating up the order we received. Zero quality control there. Honestly, it was just a weird and disappointing experience that had us leaving hungry and unsatisfied, so we went home and prepared a meal there. We are super chill people with realistic expectations, so for us to struggle with this first experience says a lot about how subpar it was. The price of a soft drink is unreasonable as well ($5) - which isn't a huge deal, but with the disappointing food it was just the icing on the cake. A large cup is served but it's completely filled with ice. When asked if we wanted a refill she brought a small cup over with 85% ice and some soda, using that small cup to refill the large cup...splashing soda all over the table and then having to use her dirty damp rag shoved in her apron pocket to clean it up around our food plates, which was definitely unsanitary and made us cringe. There were customers there though - not sure if they were first-timers like us due to the new Farmers Market, but maybe they do have a repeat clientele so none of this matters to them because they can keep their doors open without new customers like us. Sad to try a local business we were excited about and then have this disappointing experience. We envisioned making trips to the new Farmers Market across the street often and then enjoying a wonderful breakfast afterwards, as a nice new Saturday morning tradition. Sadly we will not be returning to this restaurant.

I had asked one of their excellent staff members to see if she was ok -- she had been in there for some time. She WAS OK. l finally went into the room (10 minutes later) to check on her myself. Between the time of the first check & "now", she HAD fallen on the semi-wet floor & couldn't get up by herself. My wife has Parkinson's disease . I helped her up but we had to leave immediately for the Emergency Room - she had broken something in her arm! After casting her wrist (& having x-rays of her head, neck wrist, & arm), we drove home. The next day, Wednesday, January 21st, I talked with another friend at Huckelberries while I was picking up an Arnold Palmer for my wife, I jokingly said that we should sue the establishment. After a couple of laughs, I reiterated that this was just a joke. She shared this information with Dominic, her manager. Dominic immediately texted me saying we could no longer eat there. Also if ANYONE working there talked with myself or my wife, they would be fired immediately! I shared with him that I had been joking & I stated that we would not do anything more. I was just JOKING. (A lousy Joke, I realize now, but a joke nonetheless.) During our limited back & forth "talking", NOT ONCE DID HE ASK HOW MY WIFE WAS!! Not Once! I feel that this was something that anyone, especially with a business background, should/would ask. But not Dominic. Therefore, I feel that this business, this MANAGER, receives the very lowest of ratings from me.
