First of all I was craving Tacos today on our road trip to Tulsa. We seen this place and we stopped in to get a quick lunch. First of all it was so hot inside but it was clean inside. We placed our order and sat down to eat. I gotta say it was some of the worst food I've ever had from a taco place. The taco and taco burger had no taste whatsoever very bland. So while we were adding salt to our meal I was watching the rude girl grabbing tortilla chips off the shelf and dipping it into the refried beans. I couldn't believe she was doing this. After she seen me watching she went to the back of the store. Now I see why this franchise went under here in Arkansas. Audrey is a huge fan of stopping by this location after her hard work at the ballet. We always get decent and quick service. This location was recently remodeled and seems to stay clean although I am rarely inside to notice. I like that they do a "tbt" on thursdays offereing old classics like the Taco Burger and at a discount price. There is easy access to I-44 and of course a straight shot to downtown from here. Working Doordash, received order to pick up a single order of nachos from Bueno at 11am. Arrived and store was locked and no one was answering drive thru. Went around to window and eventually someone asked me what I needed. Told them about the order and they said 5 min and to pull around. I waited until 1135 to pul around and ask again and they said 5 min. When I was brought the order I was lectured by employee that I arrived too early and I shouldn't show up so early looking for food. (Store opens 11am). She said because I was there so early, I caused her to burn herself and to next time wait until they are open to ask for food. Extra rude employee for no reason. I believe if just a few employees cared about their job this location would improve and actually make money. The place is not consistent in the food it serves, the people who are employed or the hours it claims to be open. Management is doing very little to make the owner any profit. It use to be one of my favorite places to go and the line to order drive-thru was out in the street. I find it so upsetting the lack of care given to the quality of food served. I've ordered both lunch and evening hours for weeks with the hope of tasting good and after this evenings meal I know I will not return again. I sat in the drive threw for 15 min with one car in front of me - and this is how they were having cars park in the drive threw line so the drive threw timer wouldn't reflect their shitty service . They have drive threw timers so managers can make sure the paying customer doesn't sit in the drive threw for 15 min while the employees inside jack around like children . The cashier during the day shift today was obviously not trained properly on the switchboard/ cash drawer. From not knowing how to accept debit cards to overhanging, it was a headache to watch and be a part of. That could have been overlooked had the cashier had a better attitude and tone with customers. I walked into this taco bueno two nights ago and there were 3 guys working. Skinny tall white manager, skinny tall black guy, and a shorter black guy. The two tall skinny dudes were on point! Picking up the slack from their lazy ass employee! There were probably 7 cars in the drive thru and 5 people in the dining hall. Okay, so they ask you how many salsas you want, but never give you the amount that you ask for...But its Bueno! Its definitely my go-to fast food place. After our horrible experience with the employee at taco bell, we went to this taco bueno and the young lady at the drive through was patient, kind and provided great customer service with a smile until we left. Honestly, I only get that kind of service at chick fila but either way, it was nice and I wish I asked for her name but I hope this post will get to the manager of this store to recognize her and thank her once again.
