The food options here in West Branch aren't so good. The Dorito tacos with beef and cool ranch Dorito tacos with chicken were paper thin. I had to check if there was any meat in it at all. Fell apart, the shells were stale. The bean burrito wasn't as good as it used to be. The cantina chicken wasn't too bad. Ordered the 5 piece chicken tenders with honey mustard and BBQ sauce. $11.20 Not much options open for a Sunday sit down spot here in West Branch. Downtown options weren't much better than the fast food options by the freeway exit, so we are here. There wasn't enough chicken tender, so they gave is some random mishmash: 3 tiny chicken tenders (small as my pinky) and a half cut chicken tenders sandwich. This is a combo KFC and Taco Bell. The employee who was taking our order seem distracted and doing other things. There were no kiosks to order food at this location. His distraction was a bit offputting. The restaurant was very busy, probably due to its location. The food tasted typical of a fast food restaurant. The bathrooms were rather dirty and unkempt. Nothing spectacular about this location. It's great if you're looking to get a little bit of both at one restaurant. read more

This is a Taco Bell/KFC. We ordered food in the drive thru. Chill cheese burrito, double decker taco supreme and taco supreme. Burritos were cracked from folding them without being warm, chili cheese was dried up with the cheese not even melted. Double decker was literally falling out of the paper, dried up refried beans that was but on the middle of the taco (which makes sense because they were too dry to spread) and cold stale shell. Food was so bad we turned around and got a refund. The manger couldn't help me, a staff member did, because the MANAGER was MAKING THE FOOD. I didn't get names, but everyone working the night of 6/26/25 was doing a great job. They were flexible and went the extra mile for me and my sister even when it was super busy in drive-thru and lobby. They handled some rude customers with grace and were putting out food quickly given the circumstances. Shoutout to this Taco Bell!!! read more

I waited for over a year to go back to this taco bell. I recently, about a year ago, gave them one star. But we went last night and got KFC for dinner. The staff was very polite and helpful and nice. The chicken was fantastic, the mashed potatoes were NOT watery like they usually are. They were very good. The cole slaw was good. We will be back. Cudos to them. Keep up the good work. The inside of the restaurant could use a bit of ambiance. It looks like a prison lunchroom not that I would know what that looks like. But it needs to be perked up some. read more

They are con artists here don't go. I ordered through the app for delivery. They didn't provide the majority of my order then refused to redeliver without me placing a new order. They expected me to pay twice for what I didn't receive and pay new delivery and tip costs. They are thieves, save your money and get real food from one of the local restaurants. From the beginning of going to this tacobell the customer service was horrible. The person on the mic was very rude and then when I called to talk to the manager about his associates and how my food wasn't even cooked and was wrong. Went there with wife and son on trip through the area. They had a chalupa box, the chalupa they came with the box was the chalupa supreme, I asked if I could get it switched to nacho cheese style. They said they don't have that, I said ok, the cashier called a supervisor just to check, the supervisor comes up and says they said that the nacho cheese chalupa was NEVER an option! I assured her that Taco Bell absolutely had a nacho cheese chalupa in the past. She kept arguing and insisting that It was never a thing and pretty much acted like I was stupid to the point where a customer behind me insisted on paying for our $15 dollar meal. It was a shift manager with glasses, we went there Saturday May 11th at around 12:30. We ordered three chicken tenders and famous brown on the 2 for $6, a chalupa box chicken, with nacho cheese(they charged me the 50 cents she insisted on charging me even after in took Of the sour cream) and two frito burritos. So after the entire public embarrassment of a shift manager trying to claim you've never had nacho cheese chalupas and pretty much calling me dumb and charging me the 50cents which was fine, when I got to my seat, there was no nacho cheese on my chalupa. This place is iffy. Sometimes the service is admirable and others it is deplorable. At times the drink station is sticky and covered in discarded napkins and straws and other times presentable. Most often the dining area is filthy and tables not cleared or cleaned. Odd, the staff has time to socialize and complain but no one to empty overflowing trash receptacles. Look, I like me some Taco Bell once in awhile. I imagine that it's not all that difficult to take an order, push some buttons and send the food out the window. Ummmm, I was wrong. The children they have working here completely screw around, laugh over the intercom and ask you to repeat your order several times. "Soft taco supreme and a the number 3 with hard tacos and a Pepsi." I won't bore you with the conversation but it was a lot of repeating, asking for clarification, a male coworker joining in, laughing and complete annoyance. Usually enjoy Taco Bell. Went specifically wanted to try the nacho box. So disappointed-chips were small scraps like you find in the bottom of an old chip bag. Toppings were sparse and just dumped in. Had to wait some time for order. Will continue to go to Taco Bell but pass on nachos. read more
