If you are going up north Michigan, then you know stopping in West Branch for a fuel up or some food is the place to be. There are obviously many fast food places to pick from in West Branch, but we decided to give BK a chance. The inside of the dining room is long and felt a bit cramped inside. It was NYE week and we stopped here on 12/30 during lunch. The place was very busy with people stopping for lunch. Most tables were actually taken. The decor is updated and not the old school BK we have seen, but again the space available for seating felt lacking. There were about 2-3 flat screens TV in the restaurant. Pop station are the fancy Coke dispensers with the numerous amount of pop combinations. The space for the pop dispenser, ketchup, and drink lids was small though. I would say two or even one person is comfortable enough to be in this area, when it is a busy lunch time as well I felt like I was getting dirty looks if I stayed longer than 10 seconds to get my pop. would give a zero if I could. sat in drive through for 10 minutes in park. The woman at the speaker never got her order taken in that 10 minutes. saw 3 cars including myself drive away. Have been there often and always have to pull up away from the pickup window and wait for at least part of my order, at lunch time when things should be ready. Have been the only vehicle there and have had to pull up and wait for someone to bring the order out to my car. They either need more help or better management. read more

I came in late last night around 9:30 and got a kids meal and I got the wrong toy, my burger that I specified on the app to have no pickles had a handful, and 6 Slices of cheese! Like come on. I think they were trying to mess with me. Was not satisfied. read more

Yikes. The outside looked clean. No garbage cans, ran over to Culver's to pitch garbage. Walking in, I was glared at oddly. The workers inside were crabbing at each other, doing back bends behind the register and not helping or welcoming. The Coke was super flat from the machine up front. Seems that the timer on the windows keeps orders from being completed! Let me explain, you pull up to order if someone was in front of you, you get "we will be right with you" after that person has paid and moved forward to wait for there food, they will take your order, you order pull forward pay, get your drink then asked to "pull forward and they will bring it to you" that's when they start taking the next order! 2 people in front of me and I had to wait 10 minutes to order, after I ordered it only took 2 minutes to pay and get my food! (Yes I timed it) get rid of the window timer and things might flow better read more

Place my order and went to pay at the second window, the young man had a tag General Manager. He said my order would be $11.74. Not having a $10, I handed him a 20 and two ones and when handing it to him I stated a 20 and two ones. He haded me back .26 cents, I said that was 22 dollars. So he tried to hand me back 7 dollars and .26 cents. I again said I gave you 22.00, you gave me .26 already, leaving you to owe me a 10. He became upset open his drawer and practically threw the 10 dollar bill at me. I never tried to confuse the young man, all I was trying to do is save his lower bills since there seems to be a shortage wherever you go. Stopped by for breakfast this morning and was extremely impressed! We got a couple of the JR breakfast burritos, one with sausage and the other two with bacon. Food was fresh, service was top notch and we received our food quick! read more

Horrible customer service. My wife and I as well as the other customers were actually locked in the store because the staff could not accommodate the lunch rush hour. So apparently, they locked the doors so that no others could enter the restaurant. Well, after seeing that the line was not moving , we decided to leave. When we got to the door it was locked so we went to the only other set of exit doors, they were locked as well! Talk about a violation as well as a fire hazard! After spending a few moments fumbling with the lock to open the door, we were verbally greeted and abused by a stressed out worker. She yelled while frantically flailing her arms, "the doors are locked so that no one could come in!" We tried to explain we just wanted to leave. She shouted a few not so nice things and said that we had to use the other doors, ( which were locked ) and continued to berate us. We finally got out and decided to call the restaurant to file a complaint with Tim, the "manager". What a waste of time that was . He completely spun the complaint right back at me and said we were the ones out of line. I understand working in fast food has to be a thankless job, but the manager did nothing productive to help the situation. He actually made it worse. Now I understand the very low rating on Yelp for this BK. With poor leadership, this place has no chance to survive. read more

I went today Thursday August 25, 2022. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. It was horrible. There was just a small price of chicken in the huge bun. The chicken was chewy and it was ice cold. I will not order this again. And it's the second time I've gotten cold food from there. I also had to wait in drive thru for awhile. Not because of other cars, but because of the service. Not a satisfied customer. May just stop eating at this BK in town all together. read more

Wow, this is the worst Burger King restaurant. Waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes and finally left. All other fast food restaurants were just as busy. Went across the street to McDonald's and we were out in 5 minutes. Whoever manages this Burger King should be fired. read more

Wanted to stop for a quick breakfast while in beautiful West Branch. Stopped at BK and waited at drive thru for 5 min for "technical difficulties ". Finally went inside to order, and was told by 4 staff members I couldn't be in there without a mask. I recited the governors order on masks concerning health conditions and they kept it up and didn't take my order. 25 minutes later (now lunch time) we left. Educate your employees!! read more

considering i work in a fast food restaurant, a little wait does not bother me whatsoever, BUT 40 mins in the line is ridiculous. waited 25 mins in the line, as one car ordered, got their food maybe 5 mins later, then another car was allowed to order. we waited a couple minutes at the speaker, they told us they were training, but ive also trained many people and i don't understand how it takes about an hour to get 5 cars? once we got to the window and paid, we had to pull up to wait for our food to be prepared. once we got it, the food was cold, the fries were hard, the pops were flat, and my mozzarella sticks were probably a couple hours old. would not recommend! :( read more

I would prefer to leave no stars. We waited for 25 minutes for a chicken sandwich and a1 bacon burger and frirs. The burger was lukewarm at best and fries were cold. There were only about 9 people in front of us. They waited much too long also. A couple of people got fed up and got their money bsck. While we were eating we saw what appeared to be the manager leave for the day.. she was parked in the closest space to the door. What manager does that !!! Stay away from this burger king. read more
