Granddaughter wanted to go to Taco Bell and of course... Taco Bell it is! After all, how bad could it be? They survived all of these years. And, I cannot remember the last time I went to Taco Bell... didn't even realize there was one in in Richboro. So, we went through the drive-through and the people who handled our order were very nice. My two stars is for the food, price and quality. I am honestly blown away. I was charged $25.21 for such garbage food. Granddaughter wanted three chicken tacos. I don't understand why there was an "up charge" of almost 5 dollars to switch to chicken rather than beef. They were three of the skinniest tacos I have ever seen. $16 for 3 skinny horrible looking tacos. She is 12 mind you...she didn't pay so for her it was ok. My salad was $8.49. Very slow service as almost always encountered at any Taco Bell. But I am invariably polite to the staff so they reciprocate. You need to buy at the store instead of relying on costly, indifferent, third-party delivery services that might mess up orders and screw around with the food. The regular hardshell tacos served here are better tasting and fresher than at most other Taco Bells. Ditto for many of the other items. The restaurant is old and worn out but the neighborhood is gorgeous, upper middle class, and safe. The rare crimes committed out here are harshly dealt with by conservative judges via long prison sentences, which keeps the bad guys off the streets. I knocked off two stars because the amounts of beef, chicken, and pork received are a tiny fraction of what is shown in their ads. So went to taco bell this evening and went thru the drive thru I ordered 12 pack of soft tacos , I received my order in a bag crumbled up, didn't think anything of it usually it's in a box but figured out of them , got home 5 min later and open bag and literally tacos looked like they were thrown in there and all were wet? I opened up my first taco and oh my was disgusting, see the photos for yourself. I tried contacting store with no answer and I did not want to go back . truly dissatisfied and disappointed. It's always a forever wait here, always unfriendly. I decided to finally document it. I could hear the employees complaining about my order because it was large. One of us ordered a bean burrito and asked for just half the amount of beans in it. What we received was a burrito with about 3 pounds of beans in it. It took the employee that made it 3 wraps to fit it all in. Wise ass. I guess being a wise ass and doing extra extra beans because he was upset with the large order. This location is hit or miss. I order online so I can customize to my liking. Sometimes something from the order is missing - usually something cheap like a Cheesy Rollup, which isn't worth complaining about. I've had sloppy Crunchwrap Supremes where everything is falling out of the seam in the center. The purpose of the Crunchwrap is to be portable, or am I wrong? I've had Cheesy Rollups that were filled with non melted cheese. It tastes way better when it's melted - trust me. I've also ordered a Power Bowl Burrito but ended up with the bowl. Which was fine because I'd rather not eat the flour wrap. I think the Burrito was removed from the menu recently so that's a possible reason why I was given the bowl instead. The worst is when I ordered the Mexican Pizza but they placed the box at the bottom of the bag and stacked the other food on top - so the cheese, sauce and tomatoes were stuck to the lid. I am disappointed they removed the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos from the menu. Bad move Taco Bell. I'll keep coming back for the Quesaritos. Until I find a fly or hair in my food. read more

What the heck is a Chalupa? In Mexico it is a small boat or a food creation in Oaxaca and Puebla that molds masa dough (base ingredient of a tortilla) into the shape of a concave container, filled with pork, chicken, beef, peppers, onion and salsa, before deep frying. It looks like a cup or skiff, rather than a enlarged taco. What I ordered at this Taco Bell arrived at my table looking much more like the big soft taco, than the smaller corn cup described on Wikipedia. So, the name is assumed via poetic license, and not the actual dish it is South of the Border. Despite this misappropriated name, this version of a Chapula was still tasty and filling. I had the chicken filling, and found the package enjoyable to eat, if not the most authentic tasting Mexican food in the world. Really lacked serious spice quotient. The lunch special offered two of these babies, plus a soft ground beef taco thrown in for good measure. It was all far too much to eat in one sitting, unless gaining weight was a priority. I left half the second Chalupa and three quarters of the taco on the tray when I departed. With all the excellent real Central American houses around these days, it is difficult to be excited by Taco Bell, which is a mere shadow of good Mexican or Salvadoran food. Prices are low, but so is the dining experience. Okay if hungry in the desert, but not close to what you can get if you really want the real deal. read more

Came in for lunch with Dad, which we do on occasion. Along with other items, we ordered our favorite, the Mexican pizza, and saved it for the end. Upon first bite, we knew something was off. The taste reminded us of floor soap smell. It was inedible. We couldn't take another bite. I let the woman at the registers know in case anyone else orders it that day. Whether ordering at the counter, in the drive thru or on their mobile app, the order accuracy at this location is top notch. I'd say they're easily at a 98% error-free mark and when you have no interest in sour cream, you like your tacos "fresco style", or you just want some extra jalapenos? That accuracy is very much appreciated. The staff is, without exception, very friendly and professional. Obviously it's part of the training, but the checks of "does your order look right on the screen?" or "any sauces with that?" are always done with that. (I once politely declined hot, mild and fire sauces for the lone caramel apple empanada I ordered, but the person asking obviously had incorporated it into their routine.) This is a very well run location. If you enjoy what Taco Bell has to offer (the same 8 ingredients remixed into 30 menu items ending with sexy Spanish-sounding names "It's the new enchiritonachito!") this location will have most others beat and you'll have a happy dining experience. read more

this was a rare stop for me eating at a Taco Bell . I was in the area on business and I was very hungry and I stopped in. first of all the restaurant was beautiful inside .. I was actually blown away by how nice it was they had good music pumped in on the sound system. I ordered this large grilled chicken stuffed burrito and it was very good . actually I thought it was just as tasty as Chipotle and definitely better than Pancheros. the guacamole was serviceable ...the chips were pretty decent not salty at all and fairly good clean taste to them. the restaurant was spotless the bathrooms were very clean and the staff was very nice . read more

Overall, the restaurant was relatively clean. We arrived around 7pm. It took 6 minutes for someone to wait on us and then another 14 minutes for our food. There were only 2 other families in the restaurant, so we are not sure what the hold up was. We ordered a steak quesadilla, which was bland but overall not terrible. The shell was grilled to a nice crisp. The chips were greasy and the guacamole that came with them was frozen. At first we thought the guacamole was bad because of the consistency of it, but upon tasting it we realized it was ice crystals. The Cantina Bowl with chicken was bland and the lettuce was clear and wet - as if frozen or kept at too low a temperature.
