This was really good! This is a Chipotle/Qdoba clone, but it has several advantages. First, they give you the option to do your meal "Mexican style" with onions and cilantro, which I like a lot. Their hottest (habanero) salsa is also legitimately spicy. I appreciate that. If I'm ordering the spiciest thing, I want it to hurt my mouth. Service was fast and extremely friendly. Minus one star because they got my order wrong. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and I got chorizo. It was delicious, but it was went what I ordered. They also forget my guacamole initially. I would have been pissed off if I hadn't caught that, because it cost like $3.50 and was really good. read more

You can't beat 9 free toppings in Tacos, Burritos, Bowls and other entrees, plus the service is always superior. The place is always spotless, you can see their kitchen and bathrooms are always clean and that's how I can tell that they care for the food they serve. Unlike the place at the other side of the street, District Taco employees are always helpful, respectful and friendly read more

This place makes chipotle look like a Michelin star restaurant. Really weird vibes and the ordering kiosk is confusing. What they offering on the "build your own" is not clear. I asked if I could order at the register instead once the kiosk. The employee looked at me with a blank face and mumbled something I couldn't understand, so I went back to the kiosk... Also, it took forever to get the food and there were only a few people in the place, I'm not sure what was taking so long because the food was not good.. maybe door dash orders. Won't be back.. I'm not even that crazy about chipotle, but it's a hundred times better. read more

District Taco - Chicken quesadilla.. - Mexican Near Me - Abington, Pennsylvania

I dined here for lunch today. Parking: a private lot Atmosphere: bright and spacious Service: Good. I was having issues ordering from the kiosk. You have an option to pay on the kiosk or select pay cashier. Unlike Chipotle, where you stand and watch guard of yorlur food selection, you wait until your name is called. Food: 3 tacos: 2 chicken and one chorizo. They both had flavors. However, you had more toppings than meat. 2. Breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, and potatoes, but you have taco toppings, which seemed weird to me. I would not opt for that. My son said it was good. They offer a free fountain soda with a purchase from opening until 11 am, and I believe 3 pm until 5 pm. That's cool! I may go back to give something else a try. read more

District Taco - Grilled chicken soft shell tacos - Mexican Near Me - Abington, Pennsylvania

Excellent Tacos with fresh ingredients, and gluten-free options. We ordered Carnita Tacos, and Chicken Tacos, with a side of guacamole. There are ingredients up portions to choose from. The Carnita tacos included homemade Gluten Free corn soft taco shells. Carnitas (slow-cooked, pulled pork), Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Fresh Jalapeños, Cabbage, Grilled Veggies (peppers & onions), Black Beans, Garlic-Lime Rice, and Side of Chiltomate Salsa (medium). Were also ordered Pollo Asado (grilled, chopped chicken) tacos included homemade Gluten Free corn soft taco shells. Carnitas (slow-cooked, pulled pork), Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Fresh Jalapeños, Cabbage, Grilled Veggies (peppers & onions), Black Beans, Garlic-Lime Rice, and Side of Chiltomate Salsa (medium). The guacamole, though fresh, was a little heavy on the lime. But otherwise, all ingredients were fresh. The service over the phone was excellent. This ac delivery order. I highly recommend District Taco. read more

District Taco is located on 611 in beautiful Abington. It's surrounded by lots of shops including Target. I go strictly for the the chicken Burrito. I mean if you've had Chipotle and or Qdoba; you've pretty much had DT. Ijs. At District Taco I prefer ordering through the kiosk rather the associates. Speeds up the service in my opinion. Not a huge fan of the fish Tacos though. The portion was about 1/3 piece of fish cut in half. Overall, District Taco is bright, welcoming and staff is always friendly and professional. read more

Had the fish on a salad and it was tasty and fresh and crunchy but whooo gotta try the other things too. Super customizable - think the choices of a Subway with the menu of a good Mexican sit-down. Try your taco with rice and beans, try the authentically hot salsa (or the medium, or the mild). From the Yucatán to DC region to Philly and beyond. An overlooked gem for takeout or eat in. Friendly and helpful service too. Bright and no frills and energetic vibe. read more

The food, service and ambiance are all great! And I love that there is a student discount which benefits my daughters when they want to treat themselves to something really good to eat! The food is always fresh and I have yet to be disappointed considering I'm there pretty often. Recommending the tacos, bowls and burritos! read more

this DT is located on 611 in Abington. Parking is great and customer service was good. For the food, I would say it was just okay. I ordered a 1 fish taco for the car lol, carne asada burrito for my husband and pork carnitas bowl for dinner for me. The fish taco was good wish the fish was a little bigger. The mild sauce was ok should have ordered a hotter sauce. Husband said he loved his carne asada burrito. For me, I probably wouldn't ask for rice next time. The veggies were very fresh but the rice was a little crunchy seemed like it was undercooked and it wasn't enjoyable to eat. Overall I would like to give this place another try maybe in the next few months. They just opened and might need to work out some of the kinks. read more

Service was great. Many kiosks to order on. The food was tasty and they give a substantial amount! The kitchen was clean; staff tidied up during their down time. They should have way more foot traffic because this place is really good! Skip the line at Chipotle and check District Taco out. read more

District Taco - Chicken bowl with all the fixings at no additional charge. - Mexican Near Me - Abington, Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania store customer service ! I'm putting in my order. I stood waiting for 10 minutes. Another lady finished her putting in her order. They did her first and then only put the stuff for my order on the grill after 15 minutes. I demanded a refund because I don't have any more time to waste on . I explained this to the manager as I demanded my refund and he said well we have other orders to fill not five seconds later when I said, why do you only why do you only have two people working and he his response was well there's nobody in here. So what is it? They have orders to fill or they have no customer but either way why was I waiting for 15 minutes and counting sorry if this but I'm very angry and hungry read more

Pretty standard quick-service tex-mex food similar to a Chipotle or Qdoba. I liked the touch screen to order because it was easy to customize the food. I got a bowl and enjoyed it a lot. The cheese dip was good too. The guacamole wasn't good though--unseasoned and just not flavorful. Out of the three restaurants, I prefer Qdoba actually, but this place was decent! read more

Online ordering went well. Bowl and burrito were ready when promised. Portions were fine. My only complaint is that the food was WAY over salted. Please back off the salt!!! read more

District Taco offers fresh ingredients and salsas for a variety of custom made entrees, their tacos can be ordered with different meats and for extra money with different toppings, their all day breakfast is convenient and overall delicious. The store is always clean, they have a beautiful patio that welcomes you on a sunny day and the staff is always wonderful, don't let the kiosks walk away from this gem in Abington, the employees here usually greet you from the moment you enter the door and make sure you get assistance when needed and always with a smile, it's such nice fast casual in the area perhaps the friendliest service my family and I have experience in years in Pennsylvania. Keep up the great work read more

The newest DT location conveniently located on 611 in Abington. It's a decent size inside and gets great sunlight. The menu is the same as other locations - lots of options - tacos, bowls, burritos, quesadillas etc. It's a decently healthy, quick eat in or takeout food option and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will be back and likely a regular! read more

I mean the food is good, it isn't like didn't eat it and enjoy it, but holy crap can I get more meat? I placed a mobile order on October 31 picked up the order. The bag of chips were completely stale. The order was incorrect and spoiled. I have since been requesting a refund for 16 days. Wow my pharmacy closed and all the prescriptions were transferred to Abington Pharmacy. Well Abington pharmacy was fine, a blast from the 70's! After passing the Abington cop hiding on the northern edge of the pharmacy parking lot monitoring the southbound traffic around 5:30pm I looked across 611 and saw the new to me District Taco. Their on line ordering was a bit kludgy and seems like someone's kid put it together but... the food is very good. I had a burrito 'jefe style' with chorizo and assorted other stuff. I didn't notice the jalapeño and the mestizo sauce was not killer spicy. Next time I'm getting habanero sauce. YMMV. My wife had delicious chicken nachos that were fabulous with top quality very tasty chicken chunks. We had churros for desert that were great. For best results eat them fast. Our only complaint is that the curbside order didn't include utensils or napkins. The people from the restaurant were very nice and the prices were fair for the quality of food we got. PS: There is a great app called MyFitnessPal. I ran my burrito and churro through as I calculated my days caloric consumption. I'm not going to eat much tomorrow! read more

Place is empty and I guess them having a machine inside to order should have been sign the food would be bad. I think chipotle may be better than here and to me that says a lot. Lots of rice in burrito & just tasted questionable. Never again. read more

Was riding pass and seen the sign said taco and more so I pulled in to see what's it's about the staff was helpful and polite everything was freshly made so it took a little time to recieve watching them prep it was great at first I'm like don't be stingy with the portions but after eating it I was super super pleased the store wasn't crowded so sitting was perfect chipotle has nothing on these people pricing was fair And affordable this place has become my new favorite eat read more

DT in Abington: So I've had their food twice. The first time was closer to when they originally opened. My hubby brought home a couple burritos and some chips & guac for us. The meal was fine, but nothing memorable. A few days ago we were in the area around lunchtime so we gave it another try. Here's my quick take on the whole experience: PROS -- our tacos were delicious (several different kinds/combinations between us),; ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful,; ordering was straightforward and easy (self ordering on kiosk); there's an outside dining area option CONS -- no designated handicap parking (unless I missed it?); they crank the music (warning to those who enter with a hunger headache); some of my favs that I would expect to see were missing from the menu (no pinto beans, no tomatillo salsa); the wait to get our food was longer than comparable places Overall we both really liked the tacos and want to give the burritos another try. Although it will be difficult to not order those delicious tacos again next time automatically. We'll probably continue to choose to eat at home rather than dine there because of the loud music and of course the pandemic. read more

I've been to this place multiple times since they opened, and the quality just gets worse every time. I came in today during the lunch peak hours around 12:30pm and I was the only customer inside, which was a big red flag. I ordered a fish burrito for $13+ with medium salsa. It was disappointingly filled with rice and beans and seriously lacks flavors and protein. The rice was mushy, and there was barely any pieces of fish. For the money and the quality of the food, I would not come back to this establishment. Consumers are now a lot more conscious of their spending and what it can get them during inflation times, and District Taco no longer cuts it. read more

District Awful! Flavorless, soggy, and overpriced. We tried to feed the chips to the dog and they were rejected. Do yourself a favor and go to Chipotle next door. read more

Very fast and friendly service. First time in Philly. They made me feel very welcomed. Food was delicious! Far better than Chipotle.

Surprisingly good. I got the 3-taco deal, you do pay extra for chicken, pork, or steak. I got 2 regular Mexican sausage (no up charge) and 1 pulled chicken. I like the Mexican sausage better. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Definitely go with the habanero sauce if you like spicy food. They wanted to make sure I could handle the heat first. It is spicy alright, but since I always eat my food with habanero sauce, it's perfect. read more

They pile you up on the rice and skimp on the other food. I tried this place when it first opened and stopped going here. Thought let me give them a try again, sad to say, way too much rice in my bowl. Could barely see the beans, peppers, onions and other things that were supposed to be in there. I feel like I wasted 24.00. My husband burrito, nice and heavy but loaded with nothing but rice! Well lesson learned try them again in another two years ! District taco stop it with all the rice!! read more

Visited today to pick up a quick late lunch. I went in five minutes early but the food was already ready. I was greeted from behind the counter and helped immediately. Surprised people said this place was dirty because it was very clean when I was there. Maybe because I was after the lunch rush. I got a salad and the portion size was great. Maybe if you are someone who is super hungry you may want chips as well but it was enough for me. I am vegetarian so there is also meat missing from my photo. The food was delicious and definitely fresh. There was tons of seating as well. I will definitely visit again. If I had to give one critique, it is that the place is confusing. Just know that you have to order from the kiosks unless you order online. I'm addition to this, the pick up area is kind of confusing. Unclear if you just grab it yourself or wait for someone to hand it to you. But even this wasn't a big deal because I was helped pretty quickly. I will visit again! read more

District Taco - Ensalada - vegetarian option - Mexican Near Me - Abington, Pennsylvania

New spot in Abington and we recently ordered. The food was good and the churros were very good. A lot of Mexican food competition in the area from Qdoba, Chipotle and Senor Salsas. I will go back again because the location is very convenient and I am not a fan of Chipotle. read more

It isn't bad and it isn't good. I ordered the salad with chicken and they ran out of the harvest mix so I took the romaine. The chile-lime dressing was very good but the chicken was burnt and hard. The lettuce was slightly brown but to where I couldn't eat it but for $12.49, it was not worth it and the fountain drink was $3.19. Chipotle is cheaper and the food tastes better. read more

More flavor than Chipotle!! I enjoyed the chicken tacos Jefe. Their rice and beans are also delicious.

This restaurant was extremely disappointing. Size of the portions is very small. that included the tacos, the rice bowl and the nachos were awful. There was hardly any meat and the tortilla chips were stale. This is going to be a one and done. Sorry I hope they find someone that likes their food and the size of their portions but it's not me read more

I ordered takeout online today for our family. I enjoy Chipotle and Qdoba and I was excited to see that District Taco has fish tacos on the menu, the only "fast food" place that does. It was such a disappointment, the food was the worst I've had in a very long time. I had ordered 2 fish tacos and 1 "itza" taco, which is meat substitute. The fish tacos were fishy tasting and soggy as were all the toppings, just a soggy mess. The itza was ok but spicy. Again though it was all mixed together with the veggies and it was difficult to distinguish what was what because it all was a soggy tasteless mess. It was just terrible. read more

Ordered catering for a birthday celebration. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend

Ordered delivery via their website. First time at this restaurant. Loved it! Ordered veggie bowl which was massive, plus chips and pico. Everything tasted fresh. The order was completed quickly and the delivery person immediately picked it up. It's much cheaper than chipotle for the serving sizes and tastes better. I could have used a little more spice but my own fault for not ordering hot sauce. Am thinking about ordering again today! They sent me a survey the next day so they are definitely looking to maintain excellence. Give it a try! read more
