We were the only people when we arrived and the place was clean and spacious with authentic music playing. We were quickly brought some chips with beans and cheese along with some traditional salsa sauce. The salsa was good and flavorful. This place is a BYOB so bring whatever you want to drink. I am a big Quesabirria fan and had to try theirs. It was packed with meat and I must say that the consommé was amazing. It was rich and packed with flavor and a hint of cinnamon. The fiesta Mexicana dish was very large but the beef was tough and had a lot of fat. Our server was very nice but not quite aware when we were ready for our check. We had to ask twice and waited quite a while. This was with only one other active table. Overall, great quality on the quesabirria and the burritos are huge!

We just have got the quiet between happy hour and dinner. We started with tableside guacamole and the white cheese with spinach. Absolutely love that a handful of fresh spinach came on the side to add ourselves. For dinner we ordered a variety of tacos, empanadas, taquitos, and a chile relleno. The flavors were good, and we had way too much. We finished with a fried ice cream that we didn't need lol. Service was good, good was quick. Definitely on the list for when I return.

And then came the food... We started with "nachos with everything." This was an extremely large plate of incredibly soggy nacho soup. Personally, I prefer melted cheese to queso sauce on my nachos, but I've had good nachos with queso. These nachos were swimming in a thin queso. It did not help that the chicken was also very, very wet. For the entree I ordered chiles rellenos. I was anticipating a nice cheese pull. Instead, when I cut into it it bled out the same darn thin queso. It was gross. I'd take Trader Joe's frozen version of this dish any day of the week. This was bad. Finally, I ordered a Long Island ice tea that was very very very strong but also very very very bad. Whether that's a pro or a con depends on your style.

Simple decor and straightforward street food menu (tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, etc.). I was in the mood for a Torta Milanesa (steak). It arrived less than ten minutes later. The beef was breaded and fried, with melted white cheese, jalapeño, grilled onion, lettuce and tomato; packed into a basic kaiser roll. It was surprisingly heavy and a bit slick from the oil the steak was cooked in. I cut it in half and commenced to consume. The steak was an easy chew and all its participants contributed well to my enjoyment. Filled me for the rest of the day. The Tamarindo drink was housemade - very sweet, yet with a sour final note. Very good and refreshing. Service provided by a young gentleman who seemed to be running the house this Sunday afternoon. He was busy, but stopped by a couple of times to check on my satisfaction. Unfortunately, the chorizo, shrimp, and al pastor tacos were just okay. They all seemed to be missing something and lacked the flavor I was expecting. Delicious and hit the spot HOWEVER, I am deducting a star from my prior five-star review as their online promotions which you must order online btw to redeem any of your loyalty points are very hard to use and redeem online. There was a special offer for Free Guac and when I went to redeem it the toggle button had an error. I have gotten this error message many times before on other items that I am entitled to and have earned through my points. To paraphrase, you must download the Bubbakoo's Burritos app on your phone and order through said app even if you are in their parking lot! If they updated their system like how you are able to redeem items at any of the payout kiosks at CVS it would be so much easier for the patron and improve customer loyaltly. Anyway, I will still come back but it is becoming less and less easy to order here. ***If you want their garlic parmesan gluten free sauce they do not even have that option listed on the app, you have to go into the store and tell them that is the sauce you would like.
