Pulled up to the drive through and sign said open. Food was delivered quickly via the window. Noticed they charged 9.7% tax hmmm what's this about?? Opened the food and got a good amount of salsa with my meal. Rice and beans were very bland. Enchiladas were tasteless as well. It did have a red sauce on top which was thin and greasy but yet no flavor. All in all in the vein of most mass produced Mexican foods. If you like it bland then go ahead.

I met with family here last week and we sat outside on their patio. We shared some nachos and each selected our own tacos. I ordered the brisket and birria tacos, which were both good. My only critique would be that they were a little cold despite just being delivered. For dessert, we ordered both the churros and sopapillas. They included honey for dipping. I wish they had more of variety of toppings because who doesn't love deep-fried dough?! Would get the churros again for sure!

T grabbed their Birria Brisket Taco with some chips and guacamole the chip and guac were delish! But that brisket really, really REALLY left something to be desired. The texture was off, the juice was off (hard to explain!), the flavor was off (yes, I realize it's all subjective) and the amount of cheese was gaggable; literally. The secound I saw T chew his first bite, I knew our time at Rusty was over ... immediately asked for a to-go box (don't ask) and I took one measly bite of my taco... afeared for the rest. If you're sans gallbladder, ya know! The rice was very dry, tasteless, listless. Just sorta... there? Although mine wasn't "birria brisket" it was still a very dry, brisket. And maybe I was expecting something else? but either way, their Brisket Taco also left a whole lot to be desired. Zero juices except for the bebe lime fourth-of-a-wedge. Not the most easily swallowed... bite of food. Unfortunately flavor wise, it lacked BIG TIME for me (really both of us) and maybe because we're spoiled living so close to South O (zero comparing, trust). Very unlikely we'll be back, but the patio and bonus of people watching in a very chaotic parking lot has its perks!

I wondered if dine-in would be the best avenue here, but service was quick and food arrived in no time. It was hot and smelled really good, but how does speed come out so burned? Across the board! Taquitos had good flavor, but were a bit burned. The taco? Also good flavor, but totally overcooked. It didnt look anything like what they show on their site. Queso and guacamole were delicious, but you guessed it, the chips that came with, while a generous serving, were definitely on the overcooked side The churro donut might need to be tried only in-house. It wasnt warm, much less crispy, and the dusting of sugar and cinnamon was exceedingly heavy on the cinnamon. The inside, dense and heavy. We ordered two, but two bites were more than enough. If I try this establishment again, it will be in-house. This meal? DoorDash was stellar, the food delivered, not as much.

"Big Tacos" - these aren't big at all. They're basically the size of Taco Bell's small hardshell tacos, except almost twice the price and half the quality. The ground beef was dry and bland. The shells had the same texture, consistency, and flavor that you'd find in a cheap box of DIY shells from ALDI, except worse. "Rolled Tacos" - these are taquitos. Just call them what they are. Again, the meat was dry and bland. Tasted like it came out of a pre-made frozen box that they sprinkled some shredded cheese on before heating up. "Cheese Quesdilla" - this was 100% just straight up microwaved. At no point did the tortillas touch a hot pan. To add insult to injury, they put sour cream INSIDE the quesadilla before microwaving it, causing the sour cream to become hot, broken down, and of course making the microwaved quesadilla even soggier. Apparently no one told them sour cream is supposed to be a COLD condiment. The best part about our visit was the drive thru, which wasn't great, either. The person repeated our order wrong no fewer than 3 times at the speaker, and again no fewer than 3 times at the window. The person wasn't rude or unfriendly by any means; just seemed like their manager set them up to fail by providing little to no training for the role.
