Taco Bell is definitely a late night comfort food for me. I have had it go wrong at a lot of locations but this one has never let me down. I often go late at night so it has always been pretty quiet. The lines are short and the service is quick. During this particular experience I went inside and sat down with a couple of friends. We were the only ones inside and received service immediately. The customer service was great! Everyone was very kind. Bonus points because I got lots of sauces and napkins with my order, which can sometimes be a hit or miss. Overall a really good experience. Placed a mobile order and swung by on my way home. The drive thru line was super long (and it was 2:30PM), so I don't know what the problem was. Thankfully they found my order and I was quickly on my way once I got to the window. Order was correct when I got home so that's always a plus. read more

Pleasantly surprised with my visit through the drive thru today for lunch. I've visited this location many of times due to proximity to my house. Ordered the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa Box (super glad it's back). Order was quick and hot and very well done. After many bad experiences at this location I had to give them kudos today. read more

This is the best Taco Bell location in Bham. If I want Taco Bell, I will go out of my way to go to this one. I tried the new one off of Grants Mill rd and had the absolute worst fast food experience of my life. This Taco Bell is the worst. If you want to come later in the evening.. they will let the line get super long and only take one customer slowly at a time through drive tru, intentionally letting the line get long. After waiting in this said line.. I get a quesadilla that has a sprinkle of cheese and maybe two chicken pieces? Awful. I respect COVID.. & fast food. But intentionally letting your line get long because you are trying to deter traffic then having terrible food? Overall disappointing for Irondale and we should do better, we deserve better than this. read more

When the drive sat at a stand still for over 15 minutes the girl on the speaker overheard me say on a phone call that the line had not moved in 15 minutes. She proceeded to tell me I could leave and to "fuck off" because they were short staffed and busy doing doordash orders. read more

Taco Bell is always the place that I go to when I want to enjoy a taco or burrito that is good but not too expensive. While it is not authentic Mexican food, I do enjoy the food that they serve and the various food options that they have on their menu. I always get the crunchwrap supreme combo and it was pretty good, though the crunchwrap was not wrapped as tightly as it normally is so it fell apart a little bit as I was eating it. Other than that, the service that I received was good. I go to this location occasionally and sometimes they forget the sauce you ask for but they remembered to include it this time. As far as COVID-19 concerns, I normally use the drive-thru since it is easier and keeps myself and the workers safe. Additionally, there is a sticker that closes your food bag that ensures that once it is prepared, you are the only one opening the food. For sustainability, they could do better because all their drinks and straws are plastic which is not good for the environment. read more

The freeze machine has been "not working" for a month but when i pulled around to get my order, a woman was getting one for a person inside the store. Will not be back and support lazy workers who deserve $3 an hour. AND they messed up my food order. read more

Didn't hear no one in the drive thru so I went up to the window and the lady at the window started yelling at me saying she's the manager and that they were close when I had clearly seen a car in front of me ordering and getting there food. NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT!! read more

I ordered through the Taco Bell app and it was fabulous! The service was good as well. I got a chicken quesadilla, a doritos locos taco, cinnamon twists and a large Mountain Dew Baja blast soda. It was tasty and I will definitely be coming back for more at this Taco Bell location! read more

Wow what a joke from the manager of this place. So many notes on the door but not one says mask required. So upon entering I was rudely told I cannot be there without a mask on. As far as fast food goes, these guys are pretty quick. But what truly sets them apart is how pleasant they are in the drive-thru. There's a certain attitude that can manifest in that environment, and these employees have managed to avoid that. They are always just so darn nice. read more

If you're running out why don't you open more?? And if you just don't want to work anymore and you're just ready to leave then don't answer the drive thru. The staff is very friendly here. The drive thru is quick and efficient. 99% of our drive thru order are correct. My wife and I have eaten inside here on occasion, and the eating area is kept fairly clean. I'm a Taco Bell nut, and this location has been pretty good to me. If I need a quick $1 taco on the way to the grocery store to help stem my hunger, this is where I go. No matter how little I buy, always nice and friendly. I will admit the Dr Pepper here can be either really good, or very watered down... the Dr Pepper is always a shot in the dark if it tastes right or not... other than that picky detail, this location is very good.
