As far as fast food burgers go, it is my opinion that Hardee's is one of the best. Please understand, it is as far as fast food goes, but all in all, it is a good burger nonetheless. As Americans, many of our childhood memories revolve happily around fast food burgers. My grandfather would take me to White Castle or Jack in the Box, as a teenager, friends and I would hit up McDonald's, etc., so fast food is in America's DNA when it comes to burgers. Hardee's elevates the fast food burger, brings it closer to what a burger can and should be. It is still nothing close to the perfection of a perfectly crafted burger, but it is, as the old saying goes, "close enough for government work." This particular location offers friendly service and those aforementioned burgers, and I will add that their breakfasts are pretty good for fast food, as well. I would recommend here. Check it out if you are in the area and either craving a fast food burger or it is all that time allows.

This is one of the best Hardee's in the area. The service is friendly and fast. My order is always correct. My go to items are the breakfast biscuits and chicken tenders. Both are always fresh, hot, and taste homemade. The biscuits are made just like I like them, not too thick. For fast food, this is a good option.

Buyer beware!!! Recently went to Hardee's to order a Frisco combo with curly fries and drink, and 3 piece chicken tender. After getting home I noticed my receipt say I paid almost $20. As I found this a little odd, I proceeded to go to Hardee's online to place the exact same order (which had the same prices online), and got to a price that was more than $5 lower. Find this a bit odd I went back to the store with the receipt in hand, and showed the manager the discrepancy. The manager then indicated that Hardee's website must have an issue. Upon closer look, we compared prices, and it appears the store will charge you as if you're buying all the items individually and noted that even though they have "combo's", they don't have those options on their system and have to input each item individually as opposed to a combo resulting in a higher price. A little confused, I made sure to ask several times if there was anything we could do to solve this discrepancy, to which I was informed that there wasn't. Manager didn't seem to have a care in the world that I was overcharged, so I proceeded to leave. Not sure I'll be back, however I'll make sure everyone know about my experience.

Hands down this location has the best burgers around town. The customer service is always friendly and the food is always hot. Located in west Homewood. I decided to stop in after work with my best friend cousin, we both got the same item. The Hardees 1/4 burger all the way minus the cheese. Except, I opted for onion rings instead of fries. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. The atmosphere was pleasant and the tables where clean. I will be back for sure!

Food and service was good but the manager has an attitude problem. Talking down to the employees never works.

Wow! This burger joint is amazing and better than Jack Browns imo…read more We ordered the cowgirl - American cheese, horseradish aioli, bacon, 2 waygu beef patties. Absolutely delicious and crave worthy. The burger was juicy and flavorful everything I wanted. The bun was toasted to perfection. My husband got the regular hand cut fries and I got the sweet potato fries. Literally the best SP fries I've ever had they were crispy and perfect balance of salty sweet. Yum! I wish we had one in HSV guess I'll have to drive back just for the burgers lol. They also serve different styles of hotdogs and fried pies for dessert. They have a few beer options and fountain drinks. Our food came out quickly and the whole place had a funky cool vibe.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the burgers. The Wagyu beef patties were excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also tried one of their hot dogs, and it was very good as well. The bun was soft, fresh, and really complemented the toppings. The fries were crispy and tasty, making for a solid side. For our meal, we ordered the Chili Ray Cyrus burger with fries ($13.29), an Al Capone hot dog ($8.79), a Blueprint burger ($11.29), and two fountain drinks ($2.79 each). Our total came to $48.69, including tax and tip. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the pricing. While the quality of the food is undeniable, almost $9 for a hot dog felt a bit steep, especially considering it's just the hot dog without a side. If the prices were a little more reasonable, I'd have no problem giving this place five stars. Overall, the food quality exceeded my expectations, and I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. If you're looking for a well-cooked Wagyu burger or a quality gourmet hot dog, Whiskey Foxtrot is worth checking out--you'll just want to be prepared for the premium pricing.

Limited menu, which is not a bad thing. Pick your "thing" and do it well and you will succeed. We chose the cheeseburger and the craft burger with tater tots and seasoned fries. We grabbed a drink and a high top table while we waited. They seemed fairly busy for a Thursday evening but they moved quickly and served efficiently. After about 10 minutes our order was brought to our table. Season fries had garlic and Parmesan. Hit and crispy, they were excellent. Burgers were juicy and well seasoned. Veggies were fresh and tasty. Craft sauce was mayo based and had a nice flavor. Tater tots were fresh and hot. Overall the meal was excellent! Loved the burger. Staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend, not overpriced like most specialty burger restaurants. Will be back!

Located across from Planet Fitness and beside Davenport's Pizza, they share a fun common area with Taco Mama and Paneras. There's plenty of tables outside with artificial tuff and kids toys for entertainment. There's also comfortable indoor seating if you want to keep away from the outside heat or cold. The tables are bare so you have to head to the cleanup kiosk by the entrance to get your napkins, cutlery, cups of ketchup and packets of mustard. In another corner is a large upright cooler that houses the bottled water and canned drinks. Finally there's a large counter to place and pick up your order with a large viewable kitchen directly behind. The Standard is owned by a Korean couple, Young Shin and Kookie Kim. This the second Standard with the first being in the Pizitz Food Hall downtown across from the McWane Center. They make their beef fresh from scratch every morning and want to be "honest" with their food. Being newly open, the dining room is immaculate. There are not many decorations on the walls as two walls of their dining room are clear glass which makes the dining room look much bigger and brighter. Their menu is the definition of simplicity. 3 categories: Under Burger & Sandwiches they have: Cheeseburger, Black Bean Veggie Burger, Double Bacon Cheeseburger, Patty Melt, Fried Bologna, Pilly Cheesesteak & Chicken sandwich. Under Hot Dogs: Birmingham Dog, Grilled Cheese & Plain Dog. Under Add-Ons: Fried Egg, Bacon, Smashed Avocado, Pickled Jalapenos, Grilled Onions, Sauerkraut, etc. Paul and Linh both got a Cheeseburger. It looks Yuge and must've been good because they both finished it. Matthew got the Patty melt. It was also big with 2 burger patties mashed together between 2 buttered slices of bread, pimento cheese and onions. Tammy tried the Philly cheesesteak. The slices of meat were smoothered with white american cheese, grilled onions and drizzled with garlic aoli. It was pretty good. I tried their Chicken sandwich. My piece of chicken was Yuge! It was nicely breaded and fried. It's nice when the chicken is larger than the buns which were buttered and lightly toasted. With the mayo and pickles, it was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've eaten. Finally we all shared a large order of their tater tots. I love tater tots and these were hot out of the fryer Yom Yom good! A prickly afterthought was the fact they add a 3.5% non-cash fee. So if you're paying with anything other than cash, you will be billed an additional 3.5%. So for my total of $34.50, my fee was $1.21. No big deal. So if you're planning a date night, stop by The Standard for a quick bite then walk ove to the AMC for a nice movie. Welcome to Vestavia, Standard.
